Great Service and Spacious Rooms, but Falls Short of 5-Star Standards Rating: 3/5 Stars The Highlights • Spacious Rooms: The rooms are genuinely large and comfortable, providing plenty of space to relax. • Balcony with a View: Our room featured a lovely balcony that offered great views of the surrounding scenery. • Exceptional Staff: This was the standout feature. The team was incredibly helpful and always smiling. A special touch was when they noticed my birthday on my passport and sent a cake to the room—a very thoughtful gesture. • Responsiveness: While many items were missing from the room, the staff provided everything we requested immediately. The Disappointments • Missing Essentials: For a 5-star hotel, it was disappointing that basic dental kits, combs, and other toiletries weren't already in the room. You shouldn't have to call housekeeping for the basics. • Lack of "Snow Space": Despite being in a prime snowy location like Tsaghkadzor, the hotel grounds don't have a dedicated or convenient area for guests to actually play in the snow. • Poor Breakfast Selection: For the price and rating, the breakfast was underwhelming: • Limited Variety: Only an omelet station; no pancakes or waffles. • The Cheese Gap: We are in Armenia—the land of amazing cheeses—yet the selection was very poor. • Fruit Quality: Fresh fruit was mostly limited to grapefruit or a pre-mixed fruit salad. Final Verdict It was an average stay. While the service is excellent, the "5-star" label feels inaccurate due to the food quality and lack of standard room amenities. If I return to Tsaghkadzor, I will likely look for a more affordable option that offers better value for the money.

The most uncomfortable beds ever,think twice before booking,we did not sleep properly during our stay. Staff are friendly, swimming pool and sauna great. Massage service was very good too, very friendly and professional management,arranged for treatment outside of hours.

This exceptional resort was one of our best hotels. We were so pleased & lucky to meet the front desk duty Manager Mr. Liparit Karapetyan, this friendly yet professional manager upgraded us to a very nice quiet deluxe room with an amazing and breathtaking view. Breakfast was fairly good but it could be better. Room service was good and fast. Overall our stay at the hotel was excellent.

Our visit was in mid-December, a quieter time for the hotel, accompanied by cold weather in Tsaghkadzor. To start with the pros, we felt the room was not warm enough at first. The staff were understanding and provided an extra electric heater for the room. Furthermore, breakfast was good, and the room was fairly comfortable. ||To pick on some things that could be improved, one would be the flatness of the pillows, which made them uncomfortable. Secondly, there was slightly lukewarm water throughout our stay of two nights. Furthermore, the reception staff did not pick up the phone that night, which led to delays and miscommunication. The next morning, staff cited an electricity shortage in the town and said that the hot water would be back in the next 15 minutes (this was not the case). The reception's explanation did not make sense, as there was hot water running in the taps and the room itself was being heated! ||Breakfast was sufficient to accommodate our vegetarian dietary needs. It would be much appreciated if the kitchen staff were able to provide labels to specify the ingredients in some of the food. We helped ourselves to what we thought were just 'potatoes', only to see fillings of what looked like meat. The staff themselves were unsure if it contained meat and had to confirm with the kitchen. Hence, the staff being informed and having clear labels would lead to a more pleasant experience. ||The experience overall was good, and could be made much better with just a few improvements :)

Was allocated a tiny room with no proper window( 312) on our booking for 3 nights. Even after repeated requests for a room change, the front desk staff is non responsive. This feels like a prison ||Room was not stocked with basic amenities like shower cap, dental kits and lotion.||Not upto the standards of other Marriott properties

The room was massive the staff were really friendly the hygiene was epic they had a lot of breakfast. And it is marvellous.and when you would would ask something in a blink of a eye they would come ∧ Armenia is a cold county the heater when you turn the heater on it, it would instantly come and it was a nice temperature in the room

The hotel stay was disappointing overall. The staff lacked professionalism and were not very helpful. Breakfast quality and variety were poor and did not meet expectations. Additionally, the lifts were extremely slow, causing long waiting times and inconvenience throughout the stay.

We stay always at Tsaghkadzor Marriott and have the best experience. The staff is who make this place great, and especially I would like to say thanks to Siranush who is always there for all our requests and provides the best possible service!
