Exploring Nairobi With the Maasai Mara’s First-Ever Female Safari Guide

"Tsavo East National Park, located about a seven-hour drive east of Nairobi, is a safari destination known for its dry landscape and unique wildlife, such as the fringe-eared oryx and elephants with large tusks. It is less crowded, allowing for a more intimate safari experience."

Fantastic Safari Experience. We’ve seen hundreds of Elephants and dozen of giraffes. Also many other animals although we had no Cat Luck but that’s the game!

The park is enormous. You can see elephants in every corner. The orange vibe is giving an amazing experience and I would recommend visiting this place. Two days are a minimum to find some animals

If you come to Kenya you have to go on Safari! Definitely for at least 2 days to spend the night in this place. The park is amazing. It has over 13 thousand square kilometers of area. An amazing place where you can see animals living in the wild. It really makes a big impression. You have to go there!🦁🐘🐊🦛🦓

Did an amazing safari here. Ended up seeing a whole load of animals: Elephant, zebra, giraffe, impala, kudu, leopard, buffalo, warthog, ostrich, lots of birds and more! We went at the beginning of May, weather was decent and didn't rain. Spotting animals was a bit difficult due to the bushes and shrubs around, although the views were breathtaking.

One of the best places I've been to see african animals. Nature at its best.

Visiting Tsavo East National Park in September last year was a breathtaking and unforgettable experience. From the moment we entered the park, we were captivated by the vast, open landscapes and the rich, rusty-red earth that gives Tsavo its unique character. The wildlife sightings were incredible—herds of elephants dusted in red soil, graceful giraffes, lions lounging under acacia trees, and even a few elusive leopards made appearances during our game drives. We especially loved the serenity of the park compared to more crowded reserves, allowing us to feel truly immersed in nature. The sight of the Galana River cutting through the dry terrain was striking, and our guide’s knowledge made every moment both exciting and educational. Tsavo East offered a raw, untamed beauty that left us in awe and gave us memories we’ll treasure for a lifetime.

Amazing trip. Something you should experience at least once in your life! Although I would want to go again and again!

I loved this because it was huge. There is a very good road network through the national park, covering hundreds of kilometers of expanse. There are sights of animals such as zebras buffalos and the like. At Mzima Springs, there is an awesome observatory with breathtaking views. First, an over water view with the fresh running water of the Mzima Springs followed by another view with hippos occasionally surfacing then finally an outstanding view(underwater), being able to see the natural river bed. That combined with the sight of a lava flow, makes it an exciting area for any curious one to visit
