Traditional taverne in old city of Thessaloniky. Food was good with seafood and landfood. The perfect place when you arrive in Thessaloniki. Just think to book vefore as usual in taverna in Greece.

We had a wonderful experience at this Greek taverna. We ordered a variety of dishes, and every single one was fresh, flavorful, and authentically prepared. You can really taste the quality in each bite. The service was friendly and attentive, making us feel welcome from the start. The location itself is warm and cozy, with a relaxed, traditional vibe that adds to the overall charm. Highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy delicious Greek food in a comfortable setting!

Never disappoints! This place is a great showcase for greek culture and local cuisine! I love it, not expensive, not fancy, they bring free dessert! Simply lovely! Mandatory visit every time I am in Thessaloniki!

Lovely restaurant, we had an amazing service from the staff and the food was delicious from start to end. I highly recommend the Pleurotus Mushrooms, Fried Courgettes and the Souvlaki, with some tzatziki and salad! They even offered us a free dessert which was so good😊

If you are passing by Thessaloniki you must eat here. The value for money ratio is literally insane. I could have never imagined eating a pork tenderloin this good and for the price of 7,5€. It was cooked to perfection making it juicy on the inside and grilly on the outside. The rice that it came with (it also had fried potatoes as an option) was also very tasty and not moist in a bad way like it usually is. We also ordered fried zucchini that came with tzatziki- it was crispy and perfectly seasoned. To continue with, the grilled pleurotus mushrooms were impeccable, so tender and delicious. We also ordered fried cheeseballs that were handmade and not frozen (something very rare) and an a la crème chicken that was also delicious. All portions were big and very well taken care of. Lastly they offered as some revani and sokolatopita (traditional greek desserts) for free. The service was also very fast and the waiters were so kind & friendly. As you can see the place is also beautiful and it wasn’t too warm even now in late June. We 100% recommend this place.

Visited twice on our five night stay in the area. There is indoor and outside seating, we sat indoors on both occasions. The waiters were different both nights but all were superb moving in perpetual motion and taking orders in strict order of arrival. There were only two clearing and laying tables, serving food and drinks, taking orders and payment. The food was also very good. Would particularly recommend the aubergine and feta dish, lamb chops, fried squid and bekri meze. With water, a litre of wine and bread the bills came to around 35 euros. Highly recommended. They don't take bookings.

Spontaneously passed by this place and decided to walk in. Got all local faces and no tourists around. The place had the Greek atmosphere with 3 elderly women in the kitchen preparing the food. It was so simple and tasty and got smiling face walking out of there. I even forgot to take photos of the food. After a long climb it is worth going in at lunch time. Enjoy

It took very long for waiters to take our orders, we were considering just standing up and leaving. The waiters were obviously stresses and overwhelmed, which is no surprise because the place is very small and was full on a random thursday night. The food is great but the portions were rather small. Wine was great, beer and tsipouro was amazing. The place had a nice vibe and it was very close to the place we stayed at. I would recommend it if you like a the tavern atmosphere and if you go there to have a few drinks.
