Tsitsikhaya Lodge Restaurant & Spa

We arrived after a 6 hour car journey from Cape Town having only flown in the day before. It was a sight for sore eyes. Our room was perfect and the grounds were natural and peaceful. Marcel showed us around and even recommended perfectly my choice for dinner off their menu. The food is delicious. The following day we were off to Kuzuko Game Park for 3 nights - a four hour drive. Would highly recommend a stay here.

Really beautiful and worth a visit. We sat on the patio overlooking the gardens and pond with a wooden bridge over a little stream. Quite idyllic and certainly the jewel of the crown. The bountiful gardens and huge flowers are right up to the stoep. Exotic plants with deep purple blooms and pink buds, almost protea like. Frogs came and sang to us. A lovely indoor restaurant for colder evenings. I specified that there was something I was allergic to yet my dinner arrived full of that item. The plate was taken away and the beautiful vegetables were replaced with a bow of Bertrand a hard slice of butternut. The beef stew was beautifully presented, but perhaps they didn't first heat or get the eat till the fat dissolved, so I left half of that. The chicken and mushroom pasta was spectacular and delicious.

We had an excellent stay at the lodge. We were in a secluded cottage with a large porch and mountain view. It was large with great storage, a good size bath and a beautiful tub. It was spotlessly clean and well decorated. The forest and gardens at the lodge are beautiful, with lots of bird sightings.||The highlight of the lodge for us, was the service. The staff went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. They took our laundry at check in and had it ready by dinner. Everything was efficient and well run. I highly reccommend a stay at the Tsitsikhaya Lodge.

Stay was great. Rooms were clean and fresh. The staff was welcoming and friendly. The breakfast was not that great they need to improve on their food.

It's a beautiful resort located right in the heart of the storms river village. It's near to many attractions like The big tree and Tsitsikama national park. The only drawback was that they have a very limited vegetarian menu. But they are hospitable enough to customise something for your needs. Highly recommend this place as a romantic getaway or even a family stay.

Only spent one night here but was great. Staff are very helpful and property is exactly as shown in pictures. Great breakfast, few minutes walk to village.

It was such a great time to spend the night there with well trained young ladies working I really enjoyed liked the way treat us was absolutely amazing the was fantastic and clean I hop you guys keep on your work there and hopefully I will see you again thanks ♥️♥️♥️

We had an amazing stay here. Warm and welcoming Service, small hotel with clean and cozy rooms and a nice Garden to relax. We have been at the Restaurant and they lit up the chimney for just the two of us, which was of course a great atmosphere. We can recommend the ostrich bobotie, it was delicious.
