Hotel staff are very courteous and helpful.
The hotel has a lounge area with a kitchenette (microwave, stove, sink, and some dishes) which makes it a great place to have a quick meal in the hotel.
Rooms were a bit on the small side (even after considering Japanese standards). There was no closet and after opening our 4 pieces of luggage (in a 4-bed room) we had to carefully walk so as not to bump into things.
The restaurant's food and drink were below average (the ham sandwich was good though), and the choice of ambient music was very bad.
Location was great. Close to the Nishiki market, coffeshops, bakeries, and all kinds of other shops.
