Tteurak Korean BBQ (뜨락 프리미엄 한우구이)

Absolutely poor services, different treatment to foreigners, especially the guy in the cashier who arranged all foreigners sitting in the same area. I used Catch Table to book it and it doesn’t say I cannot change from à la carte to set. I booked a à la carte and wanted to decide when arriving there. When we asked the waiters there they were quite rude and tried to blame me it’s my fault to book à la carte. Don’t your restaurant have flexibility? Or can’t you put a remark in the app to remind customers the option can’t be changed? They try to sell themselves as a good restaurant because of celebrities eating there, but for most of the people, this restaurant probably treated you badly. The worst dining experience in Seoul so far. Highly recommended not to go here. For the same amount of money spent, you can get much better services.

The tenderloin was incredibly tender and tasty, and all the side dishes were excellent.

The place has been around since 1988. My friend said it’s the place her father used to take her ever since she was young. We dined at the new building with a private room and it is compulsory to order a set meal with the barbecue beef and other dishes. I think the other dishes are not bad but nothing special so next time I would prefer to dine at the main hall so I can eat only the barbecue. The lady who did our beef is a pro cook the beef to perfection. The raw beef is also really good. My least favorite is the cold noodle.

A lovely and serene spot to have some seriously great tasting Korean beef. The yukke (beef tartare) was amazingly delicious and the aged meats were incredibly flavorful. The thin skirt and the aged chuck tail flap were real stand outs. No regrets at all!

I love Korean bbq, this is a place I visited few times, meat is on high quality and service is generally attentive. I would expect slightly better for the type of restaurant but in general is on higher side. I like the interior, a bit rustic nice for a cold evening! I recommend it

If you want to have great Korean BBQ, then this is the place where you should go. This place might cook better 된장찌개 than my mom. Sorry mom

Teurak means back yard. The restaurant has a long history and tradition over 20 years, and specializes in Tenderloin aged at least 3 weeks at low temperature. It has been listed onto Blue Ribbon Survey since year 2013. Normally wet-aged meat is more tender and tasty compared to dry-aged one and the best condition of wet aged Tenderloin (which is the signature menu) can be tried at this restaurant. The waitress grills the meat herself with the kind explanation on each dishes. It can be very helpful to understand, savor and relish for them. Corkage fee is free for the first one bottle of wine, and 10000 KRW is charged for the additional bottle. For the 3rd floor where is more private and reserved area, the corkage is chaged from a initial bottle at 30000 KRW. Valet parking is available and reservation is essential.
