Tteuran

I had a lovely traditional tea experience at Tteuran in Insadong. The atmosphere is calm and authentically Korean, with a serene courtyard setting that feels like a quiet escape from the busy streets nearby. I tried three teas: Omija Tea, Pine Blossom Vinegar Tea, and Jujube Tea, and each had its own distinctive character. The Omija Tea was beautifully balanced — slightly sweet, tangy, and refreshing, with delicate berry notes that lingered pleasantly. The Pine Blossom Vinegar Tea was surprisingly smooth, offering a gentle floral aroma and a mild, appetizing acidity that felt both cleansing and revitalizing. The Jujube Tea was warm and comforting, naturally sweet with a rich, soothing depth that made it perfect for relaxing. Service was attentive without being intrusive, and the presentation of each tea was elegant and thoughtful. If you’re exploring Insadong and want a peaceful place to enjoy traditional Korean herbal teas, Tteuran is a wonderful choice.

Tteuran's red bean porridge was heart-warming in the cold Seoul winter. I randomly came across this traditional tea house while wandering around and I'm so glad I walked in! The shop was calming and all the rice cakes were perfect by themselves but even better dipped in the honey they came with.

It was a very lovely experience here. The atmosphere is very calming and relaxing. It really feels like a cozy traditional tea house. The tea and snack are all very delicious and not to sweet. I would definitely recommend coming here.

I have been here a few times, but I keep coming back for tea whether it be summer or winter. The tea is always good no matter what I get, and I love getting a treat of pumpkin rice cake to go along with it. This is one of my favorite places to go to when I need to just relax and calm the mind.

It's our last day in Seoul for our trip to Korea. Had a pleasantly relaxing time at this place over teas. We ordered ginger and apricot bloom teas which are delicious and perfect for the cold weather. Atmosphere was warm and welcoming. I recommend this place to everyone who's shivering in the cold

This place is Korean traditional tea house. It serves various types of herbal tea and Korean traditional desserts. There are table seatings and floor seatings available. Order can be made at the cashier. I ordered ginger tea and dried persimmon stuffed with walnuts. I loved it.

I’ve visited Seoul many times before, but this was my first time trying Korean traditional tea… And I had a great tome here! They are very busy, but the owners are very attentive. Great service. They take care of customers really well. Other customers enjoy their time peacefully, and it made me more relaxed. Great experience! If I visit this area in the near future, definitely I’ll come here again!

Peaceful traditional cafe with optional cozy floor seating. The quiet atmosphere, wooden interior and warm lighting makes it a perfect place to relax, reflect and sets a calming mood. The teas and traditional sweets are fragrant and comforting. Each cup is beautifully presented. Highly recommend !
