"Sentinel Before Carlsberg bought out Tuborg, the beer was bottled and brewed in Hellerup. The location has now been converted into a mixed-use space including high-end housing, a charming little harbor, and state-of-the-art business buildings. What remains is one of Copenhagen 's lesser known and quirkier attractions. Originally created in 1885 to appear in Tivoli Gardens for the World's Fair, this bottle has stood vigil over the old Tuborg grounds for the last several decades. While you can no longer go into the bottle to make the trip to the viewing windows at the top, it is still worth a quick peek."

Well it is a bottle of industrial lager. Bigger than usual, but still of bottle of industrial lager. If you have 24 hours in Copenhagen don’t bother. Also if you have 24 months in Copenhagen surely you have better things you can do? 24 years? Yeah maybe ...

It's impressive, it's big, it's a bloody bottle of Danish beer. What's not to like about that? :-) On the other hand, you can't really drink any beer from it, and there's nothing going on here, and all the old beautiful factory buildings have been razed and replaced by modern office structures and expensive flats. But do go here to play on the playground behind the bottle with your kids. Now that's a good idea!

If one wants to snap a photograph with this big structure then worth travelling to this end

What can I say? Its a huge bottle from the Legendary good tasting Hellerup pilsner. Too bad the brewery is no longer there. I'm glad that they kept the nostalgic beautiful Tuborg buildings though!

It's was like a hidden gem for us. The surrounding area is more attractive than the main attraction. We loved the waterfront a lot.

If judged by the standards of a giant gratuitous Tuborg bottle in what was once the location of the Tuborg Breweries, the Tuborg Bottle is uniquely excellent. It's fairly tall, taller than many things, and reasonably green which some people will like. It's been there for a good few years, which is often regarded as a sign of quality in itself.

The harbor is worth a visit. The decoration with beer bottles is interesting, many boats to look at and it's possible to shop in the center.
