Tucked in a restored 19th-century brick complex, this cozy hotel offers warm rooms with charming balconies, a delightful restaurant, and access to nature.

Great superior room, clean and friendly but terrible nails (3 pcs) which stand out of the floor where you can hurt yourself if you don´t pay attention but that is not the main problem.||The main problem is the so called reception where a person with the so called name of "mr. barged" has given us the most horrible terrible aggressive reception I have ever encountered in the last 40 years of my travel experience and I have been everywhere from china to iceland, the u.s., mexico, france etc. in over hundreds of hotels.||This person is the most unfriendly and impolite person you could think of, so do yourself a favour in terms of booking. ||Which is funny enough because the next day a friendly and normal person - like everywhere else in Armenia - was on the reception.

At the heart of old Dilijan is this heritage hotel, located on a steep hillside rooms have picturesque wooden balconies with access by steep staircases, whilst inside the rooms have been modernised to a high standard. Our double room was very large with separate bedroom and sitting room as well as the balcony seating. If possible obtain a rear facing room away from the busy main road. Restaurant in a separate building, meals were of a good standard.

We spent 1 night in this hotel on a round trip in Armenia. We had heard a lot of positive things about the group and this hotel. But we were thoroughly disappointed: we were allocated a room that is directly on a very busy road (and I mean directly: you open the door of your room and you are less than a meter from a very busy road). The room was without any charm, the bed was uncomfortable (lumpy mattress, squeaky springs). There were no proper curtains to keep out the light (including that of the passing cars and street lights in front of the room). We had booked the hotel through an agency and will recommend that they no longer put clients up there, certainly not in this type of room. The one star is for the restaurant which was good if rather pricey by Armenian standards.

We’ve stayed here just one night. To be honest my expectations were pretty high(as I’m familiar with this hotel chain), however, the reality is different. The bathroom is outdated+ plus we had a problem with the hot water ( to be honest I’ve mentioned this in the reception and they’ve provided a discount). The location is very nice and cozy.

Beautiful boutique hotel with a lot of potential. We visited off season and it was clear that not too much effort was put into things! Location is not great...takes a bit of a walk or drive to get anywhere of interest.

I stayed here for one night as part of an Intrepid trip to Caucasus - I wish it could have been longer as I had a really peaceful night, the room was huge, and I was able to sit out on my balcony with my coffee in the morning, looking at the view. ||We spent very little time there as we arrived at 7pm and and left at 9am, but I'd definitely recommend. I really wish we'd had more time in Dilijan to explore the time and look around in the mountains.

We visited the streets of Old Dilijan complex. We did not stay there but walked around the living of an earlier time. The intricately carved balconies so typical of 19th century Dilijan display the regions historical love for fine woodwork. We walked on the cobble stone alley ways where you can see the wood carving workshops too. That’s Tufenkian Old Dilijan Complex the beautiful old structured city in Armenia ... .

One of my favorite hotels in Armenia, located on Sharambeyan street in Old Town of Dilijan, it has very unique atmosphere and spirit. There is a feeling you are in the movie with a morning coffee on the wooden balcony with a nice view to the mountains. Haykanush restaurant in the hotel is sooo good. Beetroot salad with tahini is a Must.
