Such a charming place to stay in a beautiful town with friendly residents. We were given a very warm welcome upon our arrival. The room was spacious, extremely clean and comfortable. The views over the valley were lovely. We didn't have a meal here but did enjoy an evening drink in the bar and coffee, croissant and toast in the morning. There was free parking just around the corner but this was full when we arrived so we dropped our bags off and parked in the free car park down the hill.

Stayed at this hotel as part of a bike tour. ||The location is very convenient, right in the heart of the old city. IT can be a bit noisy at night, but ends up quieting down. ||Dinner there was excellent: the sashimi tuna was excellent,so was the grilled veggies tapas. ||Breakfast has plenty of options.||Great stay overall.

Perfect high quality location in the center of the old town. Recommended. |SUGGESTIONS : 1) Restaurant over priced for the quality of the food. 2) Wifi at 2nd floor never worked for many days. 3) Elevator need an easy maintainance : the plastic floor is in horeful conditions !!! 4) The only one hiron at disposal of the clients is in terrible conditions. 5) No hair dryer in the rooms. 5) Rooms 7 - 8 - 22 - 22 are often crazy noisy until late night.

Most awesome smelling rooms on our whole holiday trip around Andalusia! Wood and some .. special. If we can know what kind of smell they use my life would be better 🤣👌

Having stayed in and loved this hotel thirty-five years ago, I was looking forward to going back. I paid for a 20 sq metre standard double room because I felt that the 15 sq metre budget room would be too small. The room we got measured almost exactly 9 sq metres. When I asked about it at reception, I was told that they were busy and that the bed was big. It only looked big in such a tiny room! It was also very expensive and I was asked to pay before seeing the room, which is very un-Spanish. We paid for two nights, but checked out after just one uncomfortable one and went home. Suggest avoid...

The bedroom was very authentic (convent) but the staff was far from good. The bathroom was very smelly, we complained and the only answer we got (literally) was that the wind changed and the smell was due to it. The wiffi also didnt work and when we alerted about it at the recepcion the staff only shrugged her shoulders and said she couldnt do anything about it. 🤷🏻‍♂️ Not an overall good experience, but the cafe staff, toasts and coffee were very good

Situated in a town square, so always something going on. The rooms are basic, and obviously very old, but comfortable enough. The included breakfast was not extensive and basically not staffed unless you go out to the lobby and ask for someone. A great value at only $90 a night.

Simply put, one of the worst venues I have every had the misfortune to visit.||||A group of us needed a space to discuss business. Because it was hot we pre-booked a table for 9 at the cavernous Convento bar, renowned for its air conditioning. ||||Prior to arrival we were assured the space would be quiet. The reason for this became obvious. No one else goes there... with good reason. ||||Even though no one was watching the TV it was blaring. I politely asked if they could turn down the volume. One waitress obliged. But the barman put it back up again. I asked again. The barman turned it up louder. ||||Then, unbelievably, he put a channel showing deaths in BULLFIGHTS. Our group was shocked. The barman then found (how do these things exist?) a channel showing tied up COWS BEING EXECTURED WITH A SHOTGUN. You can't make this up. ||||This we engineered to make us unwelcome. The jobsworth bar staff are on a salary and get no tips. They do not want tourists or expat customers annoying them with things like food orders (no waiter/waitress ever came to our table). We went to bar for our drinks and, as expected. the service was dreadful ||||A VILE EXPERIENCE.
