TUI BLUE Isla Cristina Palace

Great experience overall. The hotel is located ideally for a peaceful stay near the ocean shore as well as a good base to travel to nearby cities and beaches in Spain and Portugal. Very nice food and great people. Would recommend and visit again!

The hotel does not live up to a 5 star standard. Rooms were clean, staff was friendly and breakfast buffet was good but this hotel really is stuck in the past and could use some serious updating in order to keep the 5 star rating. I’ve stayed in other hotels with lower ratings that have a better standard than this.

First off all I would like to say thanks to hotel staff, who helped me make a birthday surprise for my boyfriend (especially to the hotel manager Mr. Flores). It's a very nice hotel with TOP service. The Food was delicious and different every day, the fruit was fresh ( different types of fruit). The rooms were clean and tidy. The Hotel staff is very kind, and they speak good English and German so guests can easily communicate with them. The excursions offerd at the hotel are very well organized and offer a beautiful experience. The hotel is in a very quiet place and offers a real vacation.

Spent a week here and really enjoyed ourselves. ||Pros: The All Inclusive is excellent. Plenty of choices for drinks at all the bars. One night included in the specialty restaurant. Only a 10 euro charge for the Beach Bash BBQ including drinks. Plenty of lounge chairs around the pool. Excellent staff...very friendly and accommodating. Buffet had plenty of choices and the desserts were yummy! Loved going to the beach bar each day! Nightly entertainment was fun. Rooms were clean. ||Cons: The pool is too cold to enjoy. Some people did but not for long. The beds are somewhat uncomfortable and may be at the point of replacing. Could use more daytime activities. When getting the fish, make sure it cooked thoroughly. (ask them to leave on grill a little longer)||We had a major issue with our AC...ended up switching rooms but the staff was extremely helpful. Overall and excellent week!

Check in and out was efficient |Sometimes the desk isn’t manned and they just leave the QR code out for the app which hopefully answers all your questions but it loses the personal touch.|Sonia housekeeping, Maria omelettes, Victoria restaurant, Domingo pool towels were all friendly and efficient and helped me along improving my Spanish |Pros beach location, pool area (not sure if there would be enough sun beds if the hotel is full) pool towels are good.|Everywhere very clean, housekeeping out early sweeping up|Reception toilets nice and clean, pool toilets not so good |Gardens well maintained and nice shaded areas|Wi fi very good everywhere |Junior suite large and airy little outdated, large balcony with sun beds but it doesn’t get the sun on it |Comfy bed once we had got some extra pillows |Bath towels are thin and not great, robes are ok|Breakfast usual buffet style but not much hot selection |The restaurant is more like a canteen, service not great, food not brilliant, good selection of wines though|No dress code enforced which would be the norm in 5 star establishment |Normally you would be greeted and seated, but not so, find your own seats and then try and get served drinks. Service very poor to remove used plates from tables ended up putting them on the adjacent table |I have never seen tip boxes on show in a restaurant before, I always tip individuals for good service and I found the tip boxes a little bit distasteful |Not much around the hotel like tapas bars and restaurants etc|Good Mercadona supermercado walk half a mile away |Beach bar good but you have to pay extra for the sun beds and parasols |Good program of events but the animation team are not very animated, didn’t come round and talk to anyone to ask if you were going to take part in anything |Price quality ratio ok for a Four Star Hotel, if you don’t expect Five Star standards and quality then you won’t be disappointed!|

I stayed 12 days in September and I really enjoyed my holidays. Hotel is clean, there are sufficient sun beds, pool area is also very nice. I liked food but I wish I could have more vegetarian options. During my stay paella de verduras was was only once. It’s a pity as it was very tasty. Bars are offering big range of drinks (all inclusive) so you can enjoy evenings in the hotel, especially that team is super nice and friendly. Big thanks for having nice holidays.

We have been there for 7 days and we enjoyed it very much. The food was exceptional, made with so much love for detail and staying true to the spanish dishes. The staff works super professional and friendly, there was never a bad service. From the pool bar to the cleaning ladies- muchas gracias!!! The beach is only 2 minutes away from the hotel and has a separate little path. The beach is beautiful! We will warmly recommend this hotel :)

This was our third stay at this hotel and yet again it did not disappoint. Check in was swift and Fernando remembered us from before and made sure we had a room close to the lift as I have a bad back. The room(111) was lovely with a walkin shower, view of the pool and close to the lift. Beds were very comfortable. The hotel has had a refurbishment since last year and the restaurant has been totally redesigned and there is a lovely new pool bar and a paved walkway now down to the beach bar. Great evening enterainment/ Staff were very friendly and helpful and couldn't do enough for you especially Ramon at the pool bar. Food was delicious especially the breakfasts with freshly cooked eggs, omelettes and bacon. Can't wait to return.
