Tuitui Museum Bistro & Café

World class level museum Café from start to finish. Location and quality of fittings and atmosphere is up there with London, Paris or New York. And so is the service and quality of food and drinks. Have a coffee and a sweet or savoury dish and taste one of New Zealand‘s top craft beer brewery McLeod‘s from Waipu here on tap. Culture with a nice kiwi 🥝 twist also in form of the famous tomato ketchup squeeze bottle. What’s there not to love about this place and setting.

Had a lovely lunch with family at Tuitui Museum Bistro and Cafe. The pizza was cheesy and delicious the cranberry sauce was a surprise but really worked! Chicken burger was okay, and the chips were crisp and tasty. Big thanks to Sali for the friendly service. Nice spot to relax and enjoy a meal in a beautiful setting.

Very delicious- a good frosting to cupcake ratio, and very quick and attentive staff. Definitely a well oiled machine, they were able to quickly serve me and five other customers in about five minutes. Prices are a bit high - be prepared to spend $$! Portions aren't stingy or generous, just what you'd expect. Seats are hard plastic, a little uncomfortable. Table are cleaned and wiped down by staff, who quickly replace cutlery and napkins holders. As it is the museum, there is some background chatter but you'll still be able to hear your table conversations. If possible, try to prepack your lunch before going to the museum- there is a kai room you can eat in! The cafe is OK - the price is the main con.

Went to see the Auckland Museum with family and this was the second time visiting the cafe. Amazing food absolutely loved the Mediterranean pizza. The atmosphere was hood and Nathan - the guy serving us was absolutely amazing.

We have lunch during our visit to museum. It was busy afternoon but luckily we managed to get table. Staffs are friendly and helpful. Modern environment with nicely decorated. Foods are good. I was very happy with charred chicken skewers with roti and my wife enjoyed her seafood chowder. My son was very excited to have his Trex plate but the portion of dinosaur sandwich was too small that he had to order another meal to make his tummy happy 😆. Overall we are happy with our visit.

Beautiful interior and incredibly tasty food! A perfect combination of style and flavor — highly recommended!

Service was excellent from start to finish. I ordered the Chicken burger and chips and my daughter was excited when she saw boil up (her favourite food). Food came out in a timely manner and my order was delicious, unfortunately the boil up was very bland and was like a watery soup with vegetables 3 little flour pebbles and a nicely cooked meat with some greenery that made it look pretty but did not taste good, she couldn't even finish it and when i tried it I understood why. I just think if your going to put a native traditional dish on a menu do it justice.

I booked the High Tea for my husband and l, our daughter was with us but she ordered separately. The HT was really innovative and delicious. The place was busy but the service was friendly and efficient. We loved the whole experience.
