Άρεσε · first of all the people! owner and receptionist Isabelle. these 2 people were the first pleasant contact which later became a fact.very helpful and warm and I proceed to more practical info. the location is really convenient as the bus stop is only a few meters away from the hotel so it's easy to move through the city.. (to the promenade etc.) the pedestrian city area is only about 10 min walk supermarket and Cafe very near from the hotel FREE PASS for buses!!!! there is a safe garage for those interested in with elevator to the reception the spaces of the hotel (lounge, working room, etc) are very well decorated and arranged so make our staying pleasant the garden! an amazing small garden well taken care off where if the weather is ok you can relax... the room was spacy with many windows , well equipped and many facilities. very clean and quiet! the bathroom with many mirrors , facilities etc Δεν άρεσε · we didn't have breakfast so I cannot have an opinion about it

It was a nice, clean hotel. The location is great, right on the 21 bus line from the train station (a 10 minute ride), or the 2 bus line to Ouchy (water front). Grocery stores are nearby, but beware that most of Lausanne closes at 6pm. The only grocery store we could find open after was the Coop Express at the train station. The beds were comfortable, AC was great, bathroom was small but clean. If you put your towels on the floor indicating “dirty”, the housekeeper will hang them back up. I had to write a note so the towels would be changed out. There is a little kitchen on the lobby that we used to microwave some things. The courtyard was my favorite. We sat out and had coffee or visited. Very peaceful and beautiful. Location was fine, in a safe and quiet neighborhood. We walked to most things (city center is 10 minutes/train station 15-20 min). Ask the front desk for the free city bus pass. We opted out of breakfast, but it looked like a good set up. Overall, a good experience, a good value, we’d stay there again.

I find it hard to believe that this was hotel of the year in 2007 & 2008. The rooms were small and with regard to decoration outdated. The mini bar was locked and there was no air conditioning in the rooms. Only a floor fan that resembled like a giant speaker. The breakfast was decent with a some what good selection. The only positive thing was the there was a bus stop close to the hotel that took us to the city center very quickly.

me and my boyfriend are both 18 and traveled abroad for the first time, staying here for 4 nights. the location is a small walk from the city center but the nearby bus stop was a godsend. the staff were lovely and spoke english well, we saw 3 different receptionists and a few cleaners and they were all polite and greeted us, which was nice as we felt a little out of place as youths. the atmosphere was nice and seemed expensive, but the rooms were reasonably priced, only thing i'd say is the pillows were far too flat and soft, but nothing too bad. the fan in the room was amazing and definitely made our stay. it had a tv which wasn't connected to the wifi so we used data. minibar was useful, a little on the expensive side. overall, i recommend this place to stay especially for those who want to stay just outside of the city centre.

The location of the hotel is good and it is near to the center and the shopping areas.||The atmosphere is very familiar cozy, on the ground floor there are lounge areas and meeting rooms to relax and meet with friends and family but also for business meetings. ||The room was not very spacious but good enough for a short stay and in general, it is a quiet hotel.||The breakfast was good with a decent variety of products and the staff was kind.||The only downside of our experience was that the housekeeping did not offer a good service. We stayed 3 nights, after the first night they did the turndown service properly but after the second night they didn't do it anymore. Actually, when we came back to the hotel after spending the whole day out, we found some cleaning products all over the shower and the toilet as you can see in the pictures. I went to the reception and told this to a very young lady but she didn't apologize and took it like it was a normal event. Instead, she just explained that there was an inconvenience with the housekeeping staff that couldn't finish their work but she didn't offer to clean the room.||I would come back to the hotel but the housekeeping service should be improved.

Warm welcome on arrival - rooms are very clean as is the hotel. Staff are friendly and helpful and housekeeping/cleaning is top class. Well located offering a nice breakfast, large beds and powerful shower. It does get very warm and with no air conditioning it did get noisy when I opened the window.

The hotel is in a good location, one block from the bus stop to city center. The room was clean and there was a safe and refrigerator. No shampoo or body lotion. A midget must have installed the shower head since it didn't go any higher then about five feet. Internet was available and there was underground parking (CH 18) for a fee. The night shift clerks were ok, but the day shift has a personality problem. She seems to get annoyed if you should ask her a question. Just my own impression. Breakfast was ok but management of the area was not good. The woman in charge spent more time in cleaning and setting the tables then in managing the food area. She should have left those duties to the staff workers. It took 20 minutes for the cheese and meat selections to be restocked.

Stayed here on business for nearly a week. The room was clean and staff was friendly. The hotel is very close to a bus stop, which made getting to the city center and train station easy. My only complaint for the room was that it did not have air conditioning. The windows could be opened, but with the curtains closed for privacy there wasn't much air circulation. Overall, my stay was pleasant.

Yelp
I stayed 2 nights at the end of January 2024. This hotel is a jam hidden in Lausanne. It is very well located, you can walk to Lausanne downton in 15 minutes or less. 2 large grocery stores (Migros and Coop), a post office, pharmacy, etc are within a few minutes walk from the hotel. The hotel is very quiet, extremely clean everywhere arboring nice little salons and a large waiting room. It is homey and well decorated, a home away from home for me for a couple of days. I did not try the breakfast they offer but the smell coming out of their kitchen indicates that it is worth what you are paying for. I recommended this hotel to some of my friends attending a concert at the theater located just above the hotel before but it was my first stay. If I need to stay in Lausanne overnight again I will book this hotel without even trying another one. The ratio quality price is far superior to other hotels in Lausanne, you will not be disappointed.
