Small pitches and outdated amenities. The pitches have electrical outlets but no water supply. There is one water supply in the middle of the camping, you have to carry your water from there. The bathrooms are clean but the “kitchen area” lacks basic things like bins, soap or dish washer soap, and even though there are three tables, when one of them is used by the employees who smoke there while you’re eating, there’s hardly any room for guests.
The location is a double edged sword too: sure, it’s close to the wine cellars to walk, but when they are having a party there in 4 in the morning, you wished you were further away. When we were staying there, on the lot next to ours there was a construction site on which they started the loudest jobs at 7 am, but funny enough, later during the day they had quiet jobs to do too. The owners should have negotiated so they start with the quiet things and leave the chainsawing after 9.
