Tulipán Camping Eger

Great spot to visit Eger and the Valley of the Beautiful Woman (where you'll find restaurants and wineries). The camp site is small but quiet and was half empty in early June 2024. The park is suitable for motorhomes up to 7 meters, tents and caravans. The toilets and showers area was clean and you can get unrestricted hot water. There's an area for dish washing and somewhere to sit for the tent people when it rains. The manager is a really nice young man and nothing is too much trouble.

The camping is perfect if you want to see Eger. It is located near by wine cellars so you can enjoy trying all local wines. The camping is small and the is no way of reservation so I recommend to arrived early in the morning. The bathrooms ale clean and there is separate spot to wash the dishes. There is even a small open kitchen with microwave and a kettle.

Great campsite right on the edge of Eger (1km walk) and right next to all the wineries and restaurants, but still quiet. Mostly level shaded pitches and good clean facilities plus a washing machine. Family run, a super welcome from the English speaking host. Very reasonable value too.

Nice camping with an excellent welcome. They took time to call for services I needed in town because I do not speak Hungarian. Really nice. The price is a bit expensive for tents but seems to be cheaper than the others nearby.

Nice not-so-big car camping with good equipment like fridge, washing machine, cooker, kettle, microwave oven. Clean bathrooms and toilettes. Nice staff, speaking English very well. 2 adults + 2 children + 1 car / 1 night = 10120Ft. You can pay by card.

Well located campsite 15 mins walk from centre of Eger. 5 mins walk from Valley of Beautiful Women. Access for 7.5m MoHo no problem. Pitches ok size with trees to separate. Toilets/Showers quite run down, no hooks in showers just screws in door. Showers not super hot either but ok. WiFi despite being advertised as site wide was clearly not, pretty much useless. No rules seem to be in place, kids running around all night, dogs not on lead. Certainly not a peaceful stay. Worst aspect was no separate tap for chemical toilet disposal. Your supposed to use grey waste to empty your black but it’s a very small pipe so people have poured poo all over the road. Then because no separate tap they use the same tap and hose which people use to fill up their water tanks. Absolutely disgusting and quite honestly again all health and safety rules. How anyone can think this is ok is beyond me. Ok for a couple nights to visit Eger but certainly not a weeks holiday, you’ll probably catch cholera from bad water !!!

Smaller camp, very cosy and nice, very well maintained. Good location with walking distance to city centre (approx 20 min), valley of nice women right behind the corner. Very friendly and helpfull staff, 24 hour reception (we checked in at 3am without any problem). Just older sanitary facilities.

No better camping to visit Eger, than this friendly campsite. It is quiet, lots of birds, green with shadow and sun, reasonable prices, clean facilities, kind management. Nearby city of Eger and only some 500 mtr from the Valley of the Beautyful Women or perhaps Valley of the famous wines! But also for hiking in the surroundings! For sure, a site to return to in future.
