Not a a great experience at this store on my last visit. I took two bags to be repaired and staff was not very friendly. Didn't even help to open the door for me. Then, proceeded to blame me for my carry-on bag (still under warranty) for being damaged by telling me that I shouldn't check in this bag and it's only for "under the plane" which is translated to "under the seat on the plane." By the way, it is my carry one bag. This is the second time I've brought the same bag to the store to be repaired. A prior visit was more pleasant, a gentleman who worked there was very kind and helpful to me. On this visit, the Tumi rep told me that I had to pay for shipping. The last time I went with my damaged bag, I wasn't charged. It wasn't explained why I had to pay this time although I inquired. Then when a male customer entered the store, he told me that I could go and that he'd finish the processing. Did he not think I belonged? There's a saying that goes, "people don't remember what you said to them, but they remember how you made them feel." I left the Tumi store feeling like a criminal for having two Tumi bags that needed to be repaired (broken zipper and busted seam). Augh! I hope I never have to go back and if I do, I'll try to handle it online. Until then, I hope the store's customer service improves.

Went into the store with a broken handle. Nicole was so nice and helpful. She figured out the handle and swapped it for me. No hassle and a huge smile. She then showed me some new items. Great store, super clean, and super great service.

I had such a lovely experience with Glenn the GM. He was very attentive and gave me all the time I needed and really made my whole experience feel VIP! I ended up buying 3 pieces over the course of two visits. When I left, he told me to stop by and see him whenever I was in the area :) This kind of open and welcoming vibe just isn’t the norm anymore and it was great to connect with a fellow human. I highly recommend you VISIT the store vs shopping online just for the awesome buying experience!

You buy TUMI once (well you will shop TUMI more than once). It last forever and should you have any problem with the product, now or twenty years from now. Where ever you are in the continental USA....TUMI will take care of you. They have luggage to fit your every need. Stylish designs for men 🕺and women. 💃 Airlines🛫 , Trains🚄, or ships⛴ their luggage handlers can't damage TUMI. It is attractive , however it's tuff and can take a rough ride. This TUMI is right on the Plaza. Across the street from Chico's on Broadway. The staff is knowledgeable and helpful. One of the associates even has great sense of humor. Stop in and let one of them tell you some of the details about TUMI. If you can appreciate true quality, you will be impressed. Tumi is handicapp accessible, and is easy to find in the Plaza on Broadway. There is free parking.

Tumi make beautiful and durable bags, luggage, and accessories. I have had several of their products. I stopped by the store today simply to check out what was new. While there, I mentioned that I had a bag that needed a new monogram tag. The sales person immediately offered to create one for me at no charge even though I did not have the bag with me. He was very knowledgeable, helpful, and patient as I asked literally 25 questions. I had not gone in expecting to buy a bag. However, I was so grateful and impressed with the service I receive that I decided to purchase one that I had been looking at online. This level of respectful, relational service is hard to find. If you are searching for a high-end bag, I strongly encourage you to check out the Tumi selection at this particular location.

I fell in love with Tumi bags about two years ago and will continue to be a customer for as long as I am able. I travel just about weekly for work and normally just have a carry on. They are durable, classic, easy and can pack more than you think if you do it right. I had one minor issue with my carry on, I took it to this store and they fixed it right then and there, no charge, no questions. He actually took it off an unsold bag that was last season so I didn't have to drive back in a week to get my bag. My husband just bought me a Tumi backpack for Christmas, I can tell, without using it yet, that I will adore it. Once again, it looks small but I started putting my work essentials in it and it has so much room without bulging. He had ordered it off the Tumi website and they messed up the monogram, we were going to the plaza for something else so we popped in. The guy was wonderful, he swapped it out quick, made a joke about the bad elves not knowing the right colors and was overall pleasant. They also were having a sale on my carry on style and brought the bigger version out of the back for me if I wanted it, they informed me that prices were going up within a month and this one was on sale and matched my bag. It was a win win, I needed a bigger one for one or two trips a year and they wanted to it out of the store. I recommended going here, they know what they are doing and are pleasant to work with.

I had a question about the store! I emailed their email I found on their website. The next morning the manager, Glenn answered me. He answered all my questions and was so nice. Absolutely phenomenal service! If I'm ever in the area I will absolutely shop here!

After I college I took the advice of my then boyfriend and decided it was time to acquire some real luggage. That Christmas I received by first Tumi roll-a-way. Now, 5 rotating pieces later, they have held up to to quite a few field tests. Tumi makes an excellent product but even the best luggage can not always hold up to weather, baggage handlers, boats, trains, planes and other travel challenges. Mainly I just need zipper repairs, but once in a while an odd piece breaks here and there. Normally I take my bag in for repairs at Bag & Baggage in Prairie Village. In the interest of saving time, I decided to take it directly to the Tumi store on the Plaza. Straight away the store clerk informed me the repair would include a $25 processing fee. I started to say "no thanks", but she informed me that they would be happy to waive the fee. She filled out a three part form and took my email so they could inform me of the list of repairs and if it was covered. She called me the next day to let me know what was happing on the repairs. All the while, she was so efficient, professional and accommodating. Two things that Tumi offers that other luggage stores do not- 1. A loaner suitcase at no charge. 2. They will ship the repaired luggage directly to your door, no charge. Because of the great service I received, I plan on returning to that very store and adding a new member to my Tumi family!

I had visited a Tumi store in Chicago the week before I went to this store. The experience at the Chicago store was much better. Overall concern from the person helping me to find the right bag was the main issue; however, management of the KC store soured my taste for this store as well. At the KC store I was helped by an associate who was in training. When I had questions he couldn't answer he went to the store manager who was awful. I might have set the wrong tone at the start with her when I asked her to honor an online coupon Tumi gave me. She refused and I told her I didn't have a good perception about that. I don't understand how my ordering online would be better for her. She refused to work with me at all on the discount. Her explanation was basically to pull out the small print. She is right, but "pulling out the contract" is always bad service. I knew what I wanted so I paid $600 for a briefcase and regret it - not the briefcase, but just giving this store my money.The briefcase is great. I mention the price of the briefcase for one reason only: for that kind of price you should expect good service rather than strict contractual adherence, etc ... In the future I'll shop Tumi online and if I go to this store it will be only to see the bag before I buy it.

Great service. Quickly came into this store to see if they could repair two pieces on my 22" Alpha luggage. I told Jason that I was traveling the next morning and he said he'd look at it and informed me to come back in an hour (right before they closed). I came back and both pieces were replaced quickly. This is the reason I carry Tumi luggage and moreover will come back to this location when needed. Jason was very informative on Tumi's collection.

She also affected a last minute change of one of the items I had purchased without any paperwork. The selection is very good and the service fantastic.

Jason spent enough time with me to find the exact briefcase I needed and then went beyond normal customer service and found me a piece of luggage that I had been discontinued and that I had searched for online for months. I'll definitely be back.
