Tunday Kababi, Aminabad

You just can't believe this was our first destination in our Lucknow trip and weather literally enjoyed the authentic delicacy of awadh. They don't need any definition so just dig into their food. We took mutton galouti kebab, chicken seekh kebab, awadhi paratha and Lucknow biriyani.. seriously galouti kebab just melted in our mouth and bursted so many taste. Now my taste buds satisfied. And I love their biriyani with small mutton chunks actually their is a flesh in mutton not just haddi , now literally I don't need potato in my biriyani anymore.

Amazing place to have great kababs and curries with rotis. It gets extremely crowded on weekends and on holidays and you might have to wait a while to get a table for yourself. The atmosphere is bustling but the service is pretty quick and the staff are extremely efficient. The food tastes amazing. The kababs really melts on mouth and the curries with rotis also taste great. Biryani also tastes good. The price is quite reasonable too.

The famous galawti kebab with paratha was an incredible experience. The taste was amazing and the meat was incredibly tender. However, the service was slow due to the large crowd. There are many outlets of the same restaurant, but I prefer the taste here to the original.

Tunday Kababi, Aminabad is truly iconic and lives up to its reputation. The Galouti kebabs are incredibly soft, flavorful, and melt in your mouth. The place is always crowded, especially in the evening, so be ready to wait a bit. Seating is limited and the area around gets very busy, but the taste makes it worth it. If you want to experience authentic Lucknowi Mughlai food, this place is a must-visit. Best enjoyed with patience and a big appetite!

One of the best kebabs I’ve ever had, absolutely melts in the mouth. As a solo traveler, this place felt perfect. Quick service, great prices, and consistently amazing taste. The biryani was also flavourful and worth every bite. Yes, it’s very crowded, but honestly, the crowd makes sense, the food is that good. If you’re in Lucknow, this is a must visit.

Visited Tunday Kababi - Aminabad and the Galouti Kababs were absolutely amazing — super soft and literally melt in the mouth. Honestly, you don’t even need roomali roti with them! Biryani was just okay. The menu is limited, service was below average, and the old outlet has a very basic atmosphere. Go for the kababs — that’s where the real magic is!

Situated in Aminabad , one of the most congested areas in Lucknow , Tundey kababi is one of the most visited food joints in the entire lucknow. We visited on weekdays during lunch time and luckily got a table without any waiting, There are 2 places inside the restaurant - one is a normal place to sit and another is a family area . We have chosen the family area to seat, Ordered - most famous Galauti kababs , Chicken sheek kabab , Veg biryani and lucknow paratha. As usual Galauti kabab is just mother watering and it tastes even better with yummy lucknow paratha , I must say there Veg biryani is also good but i was disappointed with Chicken sheek kabab so I won't recommend this item to anyone otherwise our experience is overall very good and we are recommending this food joint to everyone 🙂

This is a very famous place of Lucknow to have Mughlai, specially Awadhi cuisine. They are specially famous for their Galawti Kababs. we tried their Mutton Galawti Kabab, Ulta tawa paratha and chicken Biryani. Salad and Raita came complimentary. It was very crowded at the lunch time, maybe because we went just before Christmas (24 dec), but we got a table for 4 in 10 mins though we were just 2 people. The staff is pretty hardworking, a guy even fought to provide a chair for me which was taken when I went to the washroom. Coming to the food, its really great, the kebab was very soft and hearty, really loved it. The paratha was really nice to pair with. The Awadhi Biryani was really tasty, it was light and flavorful, loved it. The prices are also okayish considering all this cost us 400 only. I would love to visit again.
