Tune Hotel - Downtown KL

Me and my wife had a one night stay at this hotel which is walking distance from the Domestic terminal of the Kuala Lumpur International Airport. Batik Air had made the arrangement for our stay here because their flight from Brisbane was delayed because of which our Delhi connecting flight of same airline was missed. The Room was very small and did not have amenities like Electric Kettle, Press Iron etc. |The Hotel has an open Library sort opposite the reception where one can go through the books available, sit down and read there. This feature was much appreciated. The Dining hall of the hotel is also spacious but we did not much like the food given to us against Vouchers of Batik Air as our preference was for Veg food and same two dishes were available in veg section in both dinner and lunch and we somehow gulped them down.

I stayed at Tune Hotel - Downtown KL in November 2009 for five nights, and it was a pleasant experience. The staff was incredibly friendly and always ready to assist with any requests or questions. The rooms were clean and comfortable, providing a great place to relax after a day of exploring the city. The hotel’s location is very convenient, with easy access to public transportation and nearby attractions. The amenities were basic but sufficient for a comfortable stay. Overall, Tune Hotel - Downtown KL offered excellent value for money and a welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a budget-friendly and comfortable stay in Kuala Lumpur.

Good for a layover but the walk with luggage can be challenging with the ramps.|To get to hotel you have to go from train to ground and then to to lift near car park and go down 3 floors to access walkway.|Staff very helpful. Hotel offers breakfast vouchers or dinner for day rooms. We booked for overnight but left at 9.pm asked whether they would consider giving us a dinner voucher which they did. Options aren’t wonderful but enough to satisfy the hunger, the drink us tea or coffee. |There is a bar attached.

The rate of price and the accommodation is value for money. It's good. But Your staff act not respect cleanliness for the muslims. I already see your staff do a cleaning, they wear a slipper but the floor, we used to pray. The same slipper is act they walk and also on toilet used. So the slipper actually clean? I didn't see other staff hotel doing this at other hotel actually.

Very nice budget hotel in a good location in Kuala Lumpur. The rooms were a little small but great value for the rates charged. The shower worked well. Breakfast was included, a little basic, but the noodles were delicious. The girls on reception were great, friendly and helpful. I have spent more and stayed in less comfortable hotels. I would stay there again

A simple step by step guide to getting rid of cockroaches at Tune Hotel: 1. Locate cockroach (usually lurking in the bathroom) 2. Turn on toilet bidet 3. Spray cockroach strategically to direct it into the shower drain 4. Once cockroach has been flushed down shower drain, turn shower on full heat and leave for 5 mins On the level, I found that at least one cockroach had crawled up the drains and into the bathroom of my third floor hotel room almost every night during my stay. All in all, my stay here wasn’t great. The rooms are tiny (my fault as I never remember to check room sizes before booking) and have just enough space for the bed and that’s it. It’s a budget hotel so it’s okay for the money you pay, but as I was travelling with my wife next time I’d spend a little more and get somewhere with a bit more space. Also breakfast is pretty bad. The only thing we found edible was the toast and even that was just barely so. If you’re intent on staying here, you’re better off buying breakfast locally as you’ll get a way better meal for the price it costs at this hotel.
