I’ve stayed here twice now and both times had no issues. One time room without window. Room and bathroom completely clean. Mattress a little firm for my liking the first time, but second time much more comfy. The blonde young lady on reception both occasions was really friendly and welcoming. Great value for money considering cleanliness and location. The hotel was fully booked and it was still quiet.

the rooms are great, i keep getting told that we are going to have no window in the room, but we do. it is great value for money and have now stayed here 4 times. different rooms and on different floors. there is wheelchair access and an elevator to get to your floor. we will be staying again. the area is safe and the roads have concrete blocking traffic from coming down the road. there are plenty of coffee shops, eateries, pubs and an amazing tattoo shop, Gentleman Georges near to Sainsburys with a competition winning artist.

Good location. Rooms nice and clean. Is quite a maze of a hotel to get to your room, but we’ll sign posted. We stayed during the heat wave, and the rooms are very small and claustrophobic. The windows don’t open and the air conditioning hardly worked so the rooms were very hot with no air ventilation.

A good quality room, comfortable bed and new bathroom, good shower. Friendly reception. Good for a one night stay. It can be noisy outside, so earplugs recommended. Left luggage worked well. Location is ideal near to James Street station.

It was clean, tidy, tv had great selection. The staff were pleasant and helpful enough. We were put on 5th floor took two elevators to get to our room. Not very accesible, it was like a maze. There was no tea/coffee, kettle facilities. The hot water wasnt working which charge £2 for hot drinks it was handy having a greggs next door. The headboard fell off the wall, i didnt complain but the plank of wood with nails in could of caused injury. It dropped almost on our head while watching tv. A free, or discount off next hotel stay would be appreciated.

The hotel is nestled in a picturesque area, surrounded by vibrant greenery and conveniently located within a short stroll of various local attractions. When I entered my room, I immediately felt a slight chill in the air, prompting me to turn up the thermostat to create a cozier atmosphere. To my surprise, I discovered that I had accidentally booked an expansive room specifically designed for guests with disabilities. While the extra space was a welcome bonus, the thoughtfully arranged amenities and layout tailored to accommodate specific needs felt somewhat out of place for my solo stay, yet I appreciated the intention behind the design.

really friendly staff, amazing location , 10 minutes from the train station, 5 mins from Matthew st and 10 minutes from the steam packet terminal. nice modern clean room but the location was the biggest plus. there was a Greggs next door so very handy for a coffee and bacon role before you head out for the day

Pleasant 1 night stay in this lovely hotel. Very clean, comfy beds and pillows. What a great spot on Castle Street with everything from Greggs to The Ivy on the doorstep. Close to the docks and city centre too.|No windows in the room but that was fine. Big Tv and twin beds. Had everything we needed. Staff were nice and helpful.|Unusual building with a maze to get to your room but well signposted. It's across a few very old buildings so there's some grand staircases and creaky floors but it's lovely and smells divine.|There were a few odd noises and creaks and some running water noises but otherwise it was great. Would stay again for sure.

Do not book this hotel ! It's a trap ! It's just not right . It can be somewhat cheap if you are in a budget but ' Hotel A and Hotel B' : I don't get it . No! No! Save your money
