I am a huge fan of Tupperware. I have tons of it. In fact, someone once asked me if I had been struck by the "Tupper moonies." When someone calls other brands of plastic containers "Tupperware," I correct them.
Now that I've established that I love Tupperware, I will tell you what I don't like about the Tupperware company. Their products are too expensive. One way they lure you in to pay their prices is by telling you that Tupperware offers a lifetime guarantee on their products. If it peels, chips, cracks or breaks, they will replace it for free. Well...here's the catch:
1. If you've had your item for many years, that item may no longer be available. Now what?
2. They charge you for shipping.
3. They will tell you to contact one of their representatives to get a replacement (maybe) without paying shipping. Good luck finding one near you and, if you do, good luck in getting them on the phone.
If the company offers a lifetime guarantee, then I think they should pay for the shipping. I think they should send the item to me, not refer me to someone else. Do better Tupperware, please. I want to continue to say good things about you. I want to give you 5 stars. You do your part, and I'll do mine.
