Turin Palace Hotel (Turin, Piedmont) 31 Verified Reviews | Tablet Hotels

"These days the political intrigue takes place elsewhere, but once upon a time this Turin was the first capital of the freshly united Kingdom of Italy. Hence its numerous piazzas, each awash with statuary — not to mention the actual palaces, from which (one imagines) Turin Palace Hotel derives its name. It’s appropriate enough, given the building’s century and a half of heritage, nearly all of them as this very hotel. And though it’s been thoroughly modernized inside, the edifice still fits right in with the monumental grandeur of its neighbor, the Porto Nuova train station." - Tablet Hotels

We, a couple, spent 4 nights. It’s a perfect location across from Porto Nouvo. Our room had a terrace with cafe table and chairs. Perfect for a glass of wine. Rooms were very clean, comfortable and serviced daily. Breakfast was included and a great European spread. Beautiful. The Terrace Bar on the rooftop was gorgeous and the barman so very professional and attentive. The staff at the front desk was fluent in English and made several arrangements for us. A classic hotel, modern amenities and gracious staff.

Exceptionally nice hotel……felt more like a palace than a hotel. Conveniently located across plaza from Turin's main railroad station Very helpful, friendly staff. Huge, delicious breakfast buffet. freshly painted and decorated hotel. Room large, comfortable, clean with great bathroom and walk-in closet. Roof top bar/restaurant. We loved our stay at the Turin Palace Hotel ||Turin itself was a traveler’s surprise. Large, historic, clean, great food and chocolates, not touristy. A real bonus to our travel itinerary

This was my third stay at Torino Palace Hotel, and once again it was an excellent experience. The rooms are spacious, with tasteful color schemes and furnishings that reflect the owner’s sense of style. Breakfast is outstanding — not only delicious, but also offering gluten-free options. The dessert selection of cakes, chocolates, and fresh fruits is both generous and high quality, showing the owner’s attention to every detail. Special thanks to Luca, the porter, who is always cheerful and helpful. The reception staff are also consistently friendly and welcoming. We will definitely be back again♡ Additionally, the hotel has a walking-closet..!

Everything was good about this hotel. The location is perfect. We asked for a superior room at the back, very large and quiet. The bed is very comfortable with enough pillows. The bathroom is large with a good shower. The staff is very helpfull and friendly. There is an extended breakfastbuffet. The restaurant is superbe on the terras on the 6th Floor when the weather is fine. By rain or cold weather the restaurant is downstairs next the breakfastroom. We would definitely choose this hotel again.

We really liked this hotel, it is very conveniently located if you are coming into Turin by train as it's a 2 minute walk from the train station. Our room was really good, it had a walk-in closet, which was a very nice surprise. The breakfast selection was great, my partner loved the vegan charcoal croissants and our son loved the cake selection and the pieces of dark chocolate. The actual breakfast room was also spectacular I'd guess that it was originally some sort of ballroom.

Those who prefer a quiet stay should book a room facing the back. The rooms at the front can be a bit noisy due to the trams rattling past the hotel. Otherwise, it’s a wonderful hotel with excellent service and a great breakfast buffet & ambience!

Yelp
Wonderful stay!! We booked a few nights not knowing too much about Torino and ended up falling in love with the city and the hotel! The staff was warm and welcoming and took our bags and sent us up to the roof, while waiting for our room. Beautiful views of the city. They ended up upgrading our room to a lovely spa suite. The bed was firm (like most European beds) but comfy and super quiet. It was just out of, but next to the historical center-an easy walk. We went to the rooftop at night, as well, and the staff was phenomenal -walking us through their favorite after dinner drinks and giving us tastings. We will absolutely stay here again, next time we are in Torino (and we plan to be back!)

Yelp
This hotel makes a very nice presentation from the moment you arrive. The light / art installation in the lounge across from the front entry is stunning. The breakfast room is grand with it's high ceilings and large buffet. The rooms are modern with comfortable beds, fluffy pillows, slippers and robes, free soft drinks and water in room, hot pot and instant coffee, walk in closet with safe. First impression walking into the room is very favorable. Back in the lounge, the bar is manned in the evenings for coffee, aperitivo or after dinner drink with comfortable wing back chairs and sofa's for lounging. The roof terrace is a beautiful, comfortable get away overlooking the city and makes a great place to spend an evening. You really feel like you are on vacation up there. In the room I really appreciate the fluffy pillows on the bed, the soaker tub, fluffy towels and the slippers and robe. After walking many, many miles exploring Turin, that tub was a delight. I also appreciate the 'comfort zone' items. A refrigerator is always good to have available and I love a hot pot for coffee in the morning before I'm ready to head down to breakfast. The free wi-fi is excellent - no 'lag' during our visit. The windows are sound proof. You'd never know you are right above a busy street. We travel a lot by train and having such a lovely hotel so close to the train station is very welcome. It's also a short walk from here to museums, Parco di Valentino/River Po, restaurants and shopping. I enjoyed this hotel so much I would make up a reason to come to Turin just so I can stay here.

Yelp
Stylish and elegant, the Turin Palace Hotel will exceed your exoectwrions- the rooms are abundantly spacious while retaining an air of intimate luxury. The walk in closet to store your luggage and tuck away your belongings in an organized way is especially appreciated by those who crave order and serenity while visiting. The rooms are generously stocked with complimentary beverages and snacks and the WiFi is excellent. Sound proof rooms make your stay in a bustling city restful. The staff are friendly and the accomodations are overall quite posh.
