Turin Palace Hotel (Turin, Piedmont) 31 Verified Reviews | Tablet Hotels

"These days the political intrigue takes place elsewhere, but once upon a time this Turin was the first capital of the freshly united Kingdom of Italy. Hence its numerous piazzas, each awash with statuary — not to mention the actual palaces, from which (one imagines) Turin Palace Hotel derives its name. It’s appropriate enough, given the building’s century and a half of heritage, nearly all of them as this very hotel. And though it’s been thoroughly modernized inside, the edifice still fits right in with the monumental grandeur of its neighbor, the Porto Nuova train station." - Tablet Hotels

There is a reason this hotel has so many 5 star reviews and that is because the staff are outstanding in their customer service skills. From the moment I entered the hotel the staff at reception were polite, and extremely helpful. The decor of the hotel is beautiful and the rooms are large and were spotlessly clean. The breakfast buffet was also excellent with so much variety and once again staff were very attentive. The hotel is also in a good location and has a huge roof top bar with great views over Turin. I highly recommend this hotel for your stay in Turin as it really does deserve 5 stars. A big thank you to all staff.

We had a lovely night in this well located hotel with attractive and clean rooms. Greta at reception was super - friendly, informative and happily putting up with my poor Italian speaking! It was a really good night’s stay. Would recommend stunning sunset view from rooftop terrace.

💯 recommended ! Feels like a 5 stars and a real Palace. From the moment you enter to the time you leave you won’t be disappointed ! Alice, Lucca, Greta and all the hosts are the best. Hospitality at his highest! Always kind, with a big smile and happy to help you. Andrea the doorman is a wonderful person and make you feel safe. Breakfast is fantastic. Rooms were great. Cannot say enough. If you are in Turin this is your home.

I loved my 2 night stay at the Turin Palace. I had a huge room which was quiet, a great bathroom with a bath and separate shower and a comfortable desk to work at. The hotel staff were brilliant and genuinely looked like they enjoyed being at work which makes all the difference. The breakfast was vast and fresh with a great variety of cooked and cold dishes, fruits, yogurts, a great selection of breads and even a croissant stand and a cake a chocolate stand too. I would not hesitate to book again if I come back to Turin

Excellent hotel with very helpful staff. Extensive breakfast buffet. Room and surrounds were spotless and room serviced during breakfast. Help with transfer of heavy luggage to the station much appreciated. The location was ideal for exploring Turin.

Having stayed at the Turin Palace Hotel recently I can see why it is so well rated. All the staff were friendly and efficient. We arrived early and I was happy to leave our bags at the desk before checking in at the stated time but the lady at the reception desk not only found a room available immediately but one that was an upgrade! The free min-bar was a nice hospitable touch, as was the breakfast which was also included (and was fantastic!). We arrived by car and it was easy to park outside the hotel and the valet parked it for us (for a fee). The location was good, a short walk into the centre. It was a shame the spa is closed a couple of nights a week but they recommended a place nearby for a massage. We would highly recomend and will probably return to stay when next visiting Turin.

Yelp
Wonderful stay!! We booked a few nights not knowing too much about Torino and ended up falling in love with the city and the hotel! The staff was warm and welcoming and took our bags and sent us up to the roof, while waiting for our room. Beautiful views of the city. They ended up upgrading our room to a lovely spa suite. The bed was firm (like most European beds) but comfy and super quiet. It was just out of, but next to the historical center-an easy walk. We went to the rooftop at night, as well, and the staff was phenomenal -walking us through their favorite after dinner drinks and giving us tastings. We will absolutely stay here again, next time we are in Torino (and we plan to be back!)

Yelp
This hotel makes a very nice presentation from the moment you arrive. The light / art installation in the lounge across from the front entry is stunning. The breakfast room is grand with it's high ceilings and large buffet. The rooms are modern with comfortable beds, fluffy pillows, slippers and robes, free soft drinks and water in room, hot pot and instant coffee, walk in closet with safe. First impression walking into the room is very favorable. Back in the lounge, the bar is manned in the evenings for coffee, aperitivo or after dinner drink with comfortable wing back chairs and sofa's for lounging. The roof terrace is a beautiful, comfortable get away overlooking the city and makes a great place to spend an evening. You really feel like you are on vacation up there. In the room I really appreciate the fluffy pillows on the bed, the soaker tub, fluffy towels and the slippers and robe. After walking many, many miles exploring Turin, that tub was a delight. I also appreciate the 'comfort zone' items. A refrigerator is always good to have available and I love a hot pot for coffee in the morning before I'm ready to head down to breakfast. The free wi-fi is excellent - no 'lag' during our visit. The windows are sound proof. You'd never know you are right above a busy street. We travel a lot by train and having such a lovely hotel so close to the train station is very welcome. It's also a short walk from here to museums, Parco di Valentino/River Po, restaurants and shopping. I enjoyed this hotel so much I would make up a reason to come to Turin just so I can stay here.

Yelp
Stylish and elegant, the Turin Palace Hotel will exceed your exoectwrions- the rooms are abundantly spacious while retaining an air of intimate luxury. The walk in closet to store your luggage and tuck away your belongings in an organized way is especially appreciated by those who crave order and serenity while visiting. The rooms are generously stocked with complimentary beverages and snacks and the WiFi is excellent. Sound proof rooms make your stay in a bustling city restful. The staff are friendly and the accomodations are overall quite posh.
