Turkish-German Bookstore & Cafe

I have come to that place so many times! I love it, it's such a lovely space to drink some coffee and read, chat or just have some chill time in the middle of the city. Drinking some coffee either a cappuccino or a Turkish kahve is a nice idea. I also tried the cakes this time. I must say that I didn't like them that much. They didn't give me that sparkle that I needed from a cake, maybe some taste, some lemon notes or orange flavor. Maybe they weren't that fresh... I'm not sure. But definitely the staff, the people working there have been always really nice and kind!!! I always like the interactions with them :) good choice and you should certainly visit it

An excellent coffee shop is right on the pedestrian street. It offers different types of coffee and cakes and an enjoyable atmosphere. The cold coffee was great, and I enjoyed having a short break there.

I was really looking forward to visiting this quirky spot, but sadly the staff’s attitude ruined the experience. The guy I spoke to was sarcastic and a bit rude for no reason, and at one point even seemed to mutter something to his colleague while I was asking about the cakes. I still went ahead, ordered, and sat outside. The food and concept are actually great — lots of books and a cool vibe — but I just didn’t feel welcomed. Disappointing, because the place has so much potential. Do better !

Absolutely loved this café! They serve the best coffee rich, flavourful, and perfectly brewed. The seating arrangement is cozy and well thought out, making it a great place to relax or work. What makes it even better is the wonderful collection of books available for reading while you enjoy your drink. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming, which adds to the warm, inviting atmosphere. Highly recommended!

I stopped by this cafe while sightseeing in Istanbul. It was a very stylish shop that seemed to combine a bookstore and a cafe. There were already many customers on the second floor, so I sat at a table in front of the cash register and had coffee and cake. It was stylish and recommended.

The worst coffee I had during my stay in Istanbul, unfortunately. The milk of my flat white was burned, couldn't even finish. The barista must also either hate tourists or his job, didn't even make an attempt at latte art. Coffee looks like it came straight out of a vending machine, and tastes that way. They also add an unexpected 10% service charge to the bill, which is the final nail in the coffin. Absolutely can't recommend this establishment.

What a great place to hangout, do your work, surrounded by other people doing their work. You can order absolutely great coffee, desserts and small snacks. Absolutely lovely ambiance. If you are in Istanbul, have work to do and don't want to rot in your hotel room, come on over here.

The best espresso I have ever had in my entire life. Staff is lovely, I also got my membership card and a discount as a student. It is very cheap and considering the quality, taste and freshness of their coffees - extremely cheap. I recommend to visit this place for sure!
