We had a beautiful stay at Turmaden. The renovated farmhouse is beautifully decorated and well maintained, providing a relaxing and comfortable retreat in a peaceful rural setting. The gardens and swimming pool are especially charming and offer great views of the surrounding landscape. Breakfast each morning was delicious, filled with local products prepared and presented to us by the friendly staff. The owner’s lack of professionalism however ruined what could have been a perfect stay. Rafel never greeted or acknowledged us during our 3 nights visit. Before arrival, he suggested we should have booked directly to avoid booking.com fees but ignored our follow-up emails. In one brief reply, he said our reservation wasn’t a priority as he had to attend to his cattle and that he would have reimbursed the fee difference during our stay. Despite being on the property, he avoided us entirely. Only at checkout, after asking the staff to speak with him, he said he had been tired and busy, showing no concern for the issue. Ultimately he did not reimburse us.

The agroturism is located in a beautiful and tranquil spot on top of a gorgeous hill overlooking the surrounding rural areas. The old, traditional farmhouse is charming, authentic and has been tastefully restored. The outdoor areas by the pool and on the north side of the old house offer breath-taking views, especially in the evening hours. The breakfast is delicious and boasts a comprehensive selection of local products, including cheese and cured meats. Unfortunately, our experience has been ruined by a lack of care and availability from the host. The host avoided contact with us the whole time, from check in to check out and made no effort in welcoming us and speaking to us throughout our stay. The host also recommended that we go directly through him to avoid paying the fee of booking.com, however after suggesting this he ignored our questions and refused to give us the discount he had proposed on an email, despite our repeated efforts in contacting him and clarifying the situation. When confronted on the last day of our stay he made up excuses and refused to accept that he had clearly mishandled our reservation. This rude attitude and unfriendly behaviour ruined our stay, which, given the beauty of the location, had all the potential to be much more memorable! It felt like a scam. I would consider choosing another place to stay if good manners are valuable to you.

Excellent stay at Turmaden! The place is beautiful and located on a gorgeous hill providing a great view over the nearby nature. Avoid booking.com and go directly to their website. You will save money and better support efforts from the owner to maintain good services. Breaksfast was great with local products. We had lovely morning chats with Rafel, the owner, who gave us all necessary tips to enjoy our stay in Menorca (beaches, restaurants, and others...). We definitely recommend it! Tom & Ceci

Turmadèn is just as unique as real. The house is a rural building with an impressive biocontruction upgrade! The design of the room was beautiful with a warm atmosphere. It's on very quiet and green hillock. The breakfast was next level, not only had local products but the staff was friendly and very happy to help. The owner Rafael is very passionate about his project which makes a lovely and a worthwhile stay. Thank you

We spent such a beautiful time at Turmaden! We stayed in the suite and enjoyed the quite and spacious rooms and gardens. The views are stunning and the pool is just perfect. Everything is clean and nicely taken care of. Muchas gracias to Rafael, Jonas and Kati, it was a pleasure to be your guests!

Great experience. Nice host and breakfast staff. Nice view being at the top of a hill, cute room. Quiet pool area. Short 10 min drive to st Tomas beach. Nice running track directly nearby, very tough incline though.

We loved our stay at Turmaden! Our room was very comfortable and the views on the large domain are breathtaking. The environment is very quiet and Rafel is very engaged. The corona proof and organic breakfast is absolutely the best.

Definitely worth the price with such a beautiful location, staff and room. Excellent bed, great breakfast, very helpful staff and amazing vista. Nice pool and located central to sites on the island. Rafael and Sarah were wonderful. Would return!
