A pretty big store with lots of different things to choose from. Consider this like a thrift store but much more expensive. Shoes that were in pretty bad condition started at $25 and nice clothes are upwards of $30. I would wait until they have sales or you're almost paying retail for most of what they have.

Google
First time in and disappointed with how inaccessible the dresses are hung - as someone who is petite with difficulty reaching high they are hung for people over 6 foot to access, why? Pricing is very expensive throughout - $60 for worn shoes etc.

Google
Beautiful selection of great products organized in an approachable and visually appealing way! Highly recommend exploring this gem, especially when they have a sale going that makes things totally affordable.

Google
A nice selection of items, prices are really good too (which means if you are consigning items, you won’t get rich.

Honestly love this location. Everybody is friendly and they have great deals. A mixture of cute styles, too. The lovely thing about consigning is you're putting money into other people's accounts (you can make money too!) So it's a win for all.

Google
This place usually has some interesting merchandise, and a nice range of generally fair pricing. Was disappointed when I drove out here to shop, to see a sign on the door that they have moved to ‘appointment only.’ It would be nice if this information was posted somewhere other than just on the door. As of writing this review, it is neither on their Google information, or posted on their website with their hourly information.

Google
I love turnstyle, I have an account with them of items I've sold. Today I used my $18 credit to buy 2 beautiful rings that were behind the counter (so they could possibly be real) for $9.50 each

Google
Always fun to shop here! And the consigning is easy to do, with very friendly staff.

Yelp
Great service and so helpful they put an item I wanted on hold. Drop off your good stuff and get money to spend.

Yelp
I recently purchased the most adorable Michael Kors winter jacket for a very reasonable price here and now I am hooked wondering why I've been putting this place off for so long. The staff seem to always be in great spirits collaborating as one team which is rare to see in retail these days. I've been investigating Turn Style much more and also highly recommend the Roseville location. The Highland Park one is fine but my number one complaint is the cramped feeling which absolutely comes with being in Saint Paul. There is no designated parking lot but you can find some hidden spots behind the building. Furthermore, the way the tops are organized on the wall are frustrating for a short person like me as you have to reach super high up just to comb through the clothes. There is also a medium size selection of furniture as compared to Roseville but again, fairly certain this is due to location and space. None the less, similar to all other locations, you can find anything here as each item is color coded and if you seek out name brands, they have them. From handbags to shoes you can't go wrong for the price. This store is also very inclusive carrying the smallest of small sizes to largest. Thank you, Turn Style!! Keep it up!

Yelp
I freaking love this store. I've been consigning and shopping here since they were at the last location. There are still a couple familiar faces! I've always felt welcomed by the staff. I only allow myself to shop if I have some items to consign, or I'd be here all the time! When I do, I make sure to have enough time to really look at everything. Honestly, Turn Style clothing makes up 60% of my entire wardrobe. I love the new section of designer items near the purses. If you want to consign here, make sure your items are on hangers and that they are in a condition that you would purchase. I always iron and use a lint roller on clothing, but I don't think that's absolutely necessary. They do NOT accept walk-in consignment on Thursdays. Weekends are by appointment only. I've never had to wait long for the staff to look at my items, but I'm never in a rush! Haha.

Yelp
Great store sure do miss the one @crossroads? In coonrapids MN,why they closed? I love the store , the manger was a great sales person .

Yelp
Seller Beware! This store asks you to leave your items without so much as giving you an estimate of what they'll list your items for. Then they provide no communication so you're expected to continually follow up to learn of the listed price or whether they've sold anything. Essentially you drop off your items and hope for the best. I brought a $750 menswear sheepskin coat in. The clerk didn't even examine it. I thought they knew their stuff and trusted them to ask a fair price. Months later I stopped by only to learn It was sold and received a check for $26. Only an uninformed lazy clerk would have priced it as a cheap Goodwill item. Never coming back. I'd rather donate to a shelter or Goodwill.

Yelp
NEVER GOING BACK. SO RUDE. After CALLING and asking if they were consigning clothes, I came because the Richfield location had stopped taking clothes for the day-- which apparently they can do. Then, this location "Wouldn't even look at" any of my clothes because they were folded in a bag. Wtf? He didn't even see what was in the bag. Literally have never felt so rejected as a customer. How long does it actually take you to look at some jeans?! And my stuff is really nice and cute!! Just saying!! There were also TONS of hangers nearby they said I couldn't use to hang the clothing up FOR THEM. 100% lost my business.

Therese S.

Yelp
I was hoping to consign some clothing. I had a bad experience at the Roseville location, but, since I had gone to the trouble of putting all the stuff together I decided to give Highland Park a try. The website states specific consignment hours which Roseville did not honor. For that reason, I called Highland Park to make sure that they would be open to consign. When I called, the recording said to push 1 for information about consignment hours. That is what I was looking for, so I did. The recording stated that they would take items until 5:30, so I had plenty of time. When I arrived, I once again found a sign on the door that consignment was closed. I went to speak to an employee who told me I should have asked to speak to a person in the phone. I followed the prompt and was never given that option. Perhaps the store should change their website and phone message to accurately reflect the situation. It seems as through they feel they have plenty of business and don't need to be respectful of their customers. I won't be back.

Yelp
I have consigned here over the years and was told today that in order to get back my things that didn't sell during the period they were at the store, I would have to pay them a "pulling from the floor charge" of $2 per item. Well I can see if I have wanted someone at the store to do this for me, but I was going to pull the remaining three things myself. I would still have to pay them $6 in total to pull MY things. What's worse, the snotty person on the phone at the Highland Park location told me "Well they are kind of our things now so we will charge you." What? Your things? I don't think so! This is a decent place to find things as a shopper, but don't consign here. It seems they have a very unethical business practice of making money whether your item sells or not. Not a good business practice or model.

Yelp
Today I was shopping at this location on Ford Pkwy. It is by far has most unfriendly staff. The worst customer service and attitude that matched the outside temperature today of about a -3 degrees and a windchill factor of a -14 degrees. I found a couple of items that liked but I didn't want to lug around the store. I walked the items up to the counter and informed the cashier that was still shopping. At other locations (they are very happy to place your items behind the counter and respond with a smile, no problem "just let us know when you're ready)" But this lady was very cold in stating, I need you to move this to the other side of the counter to hold and then bring it back to this side to me to purchase. I found an item without a price tag, I went to the counter to inquiry and the guy didn't acknowledge me after about a minute of silence. I finally got his attention. After making a price tag for the item (the guy just walks off and waits on another customer (I'm still standing there needing assistance and being ignored). I had several items that I wanted to purchase but I only purchased a few of them due to the poor service I received. I did't even get a thank you. The guy said, " feel free to make two trips." Huh? When I came back for remaining items (they had moved them to the other side of the counter) even though I paid for them. I will never go back to this location.

Yelp
I've been a loyal shopper of this Turn Style's Consignment for over 10 years! This is my first Turn Styles I've been to and got me started into consignment and thrift store shopping. Even though I no longer live in this area and moved out to the northwest suburbs I continue to stop by and shop here because I can always find some good finds!I try to stop in here at least once a month...the management/employees here have been the same all these years and it's so nice to see a familiar friendly face! They have expanded out into a BIG store I think in the last year or two...it is sooo big you can literally get lost! LOVE!!!!

Yelp
This Turnstyle seems nicely laid out, and although they have a lot of stuff, doesn't seem overcrowded or bursting at the seams like the Southdale store. Variety of sizes from 0 to plus sizes, as well as petite sizes, like other reviewers have said. There are a lot of jeans, checkered buttondown shirts, quite a few purses, and some fashion jewelry that seems nice. Also from time to time they have 50-75% off their green tag items. You can start or supplement your professional wardrobe here without spending a fortune. If you take the time to look through all the racks, there are a few quality items. I found a Calvin Klein dress that I can wear to work (on sale) for only $4.50! Parking - they have a small lot in front of the store. Tough to park during the after-work rush hour, but later in the evening, there is plenty of room. Pretty clean for a consignment store. The dressing rooms leave something to be desired and I would not recommend standing on the carpet in your bare feet, but as the saying goes, beggars can't be choosers. I won't take a star away for that because as far as consignment stores goes, this one seems pretty good. I have not tried to consign yet after my lackluster experience with the Southdale location, but perhaps I will try consigning here in the future. Happy with the selection and sale prices!

Yelp
Well, I have to admit, I haven't been to a consignment store in over 15 years. I checked out this place based on some Yelp reviews, and was really pleasantly surprised! The prices were awesome, and based on dates (e.g., if purchased between 5/31-6/14, it was $15, if after 6/15, it was 10). I loved this philosophy and thought it was great. The store was big, spacious, well organized, SUPER clean and had multiple sections (e.g., female, male, kids, petite, maternity, shoes, etc.). Bought three outfits for $20. Can't go wrong. Overall, really happy and I'll be back!

Yelp
this place sucks there's old granny crap and the changing rooms make me very uncomfortable because they're just curtains that are covering it and it's hard to close the curtains and I'm very mad and the people they're treating me like crap thanks for listening bye

Yelp
I had a handful of jewelry and asked them if they had baskets. No they didn't but I could set the things on the counter. So I tried on the jewelry put back what I didn't want. Then I found a handfull of scarves and did the same thing, ended up with three scarves in my pile. Then I just made my way down the store at least seven times going back to the fitting room: handful of jeans try and add to pile, handful of shirts, handful of dresses, handful of Blazers, handful of sweaters. I was at the store 2 1/2 hours! I kept thinking I would run out of things that I like, no. I kept thinking I would run out of things that I would try on and they fit. No. I even got a purse! Not only that, the ladies working there were all super sweet and friendly. That does not always happen, for sure. No bathroom. Clean and well organized by size, garment type and color. I got J.Crew, Gap, Banana and more! Even though it's not in my neighborhood, I will be back!

Yelp
Because I live really close by, this is probably the consignment store I go to most. It is my PERFECT place if I'm looking for something kind of generic-- ie a pretty top, a nice pair of jeans. I can always find something cute enough to want to buy here. Lots of Banana Republic, Gap, J.Jill, Loft, h&m etc, with a sprinkling of other cool brands like topshop and free people. Although this is the place I go to if I'm in a pinch and I really need something cute and new to wear, it really isn't the place to go to if you're looking for something really unique or dazzling. I rarely find amazing dresses here or really cool shoes, etc. The staff is always super friendly, I like the layout of the place, and the location is nice (right next to a panera so I can sip coffee while I browse). The majority of tops are between 8-20 dollars (most closer to 15), dresses are between 10-30, and pants are between 12ish-25 with a few exceptions. I'd highly recommend stopping in if you're ever in the highland village. it's great for all ages, too!

Yelp
I love TurnStyle and will continue to shop here because I prefer my clothes unique and recycled. I hate the layout of the new location though. The aisles are super narrow and overpacked. There are a quite few sections on very high bars which is incredibly un-user friendly. They are so hard to see and reach, plus they have knit sweaters on that rack, and multiple ones I wanted to try on we're completely ruined on the bottom from getting caught in the hangers of the row below. Don't get me wrong, I know this is consignment and don't expect a boutique shopping experience, but it's a noticeable decline from the prior location. As I said, I'll continue shopping here, but am disappointed by these changes.

Yelp
Far and away my favorite consignment store! I used to go to the Turn Style in southwest Minneapolis, but seeing as though my husband has class over by the much larger Highland Park location...well, I spend more time there than I should. They have a great range of labels, a super-helpful (and friendly!) staff, as well as frequent markdowns on certain items.

Yelp
Had horrible customer service from this sales person here and asked for the phone number to call the manager the next day. The two sales people told me, with my sister present, that they didn't have a phone and we had to email the store. I questioned this and they again said I had to email the store, the young man wrote down the wrong email address and the name of the Manager Cassie. I stopped at the Burnsville store to bring in more clothes and talked to the manager there and she gave me the store number and to the local area Manager Greg. In talking to Cassie she was clear that the sales people had given me the phone number so I explained that I will send a photo of the paper and that the sales people are lying to cover their rude behavior. Then after she saw the paper said it was all a misunderstanding. How can it be a misunderstanding when the paper does not have any phone number and the wrong email address? Then she send me an email telling me I have to pick up the clothes. Which I told her I didn't want to do. So, I called Greg, he clearly is not used to getting work calls on his cell and answered the phone with a "ya" and then wanted to know who I was, also very rude. I tried to explain the situation, which he said made no sense, which I agreed as it made no sense when they told us the store did not have a phone and I needed to email. Then he was also rude and treated me like I was the problem, I explained I did not want to have to pick up the clothes and stated this all started with one rude sales person, but clearly they have a culture of poor customer service. I told him I was going on Yelp to put my treatment there and he hung up on me.

Yelp
I took items over to Turn Style because of a recommendation from a co-worker. BIG MISTAKE!! 6 item from my first order was stolen. A new purse that I was consigning was cut in the front. My second items I had new COACH shoes stolen, Ralph Lauren Scarf and Jewelry. A pair of COACH shoes which I brought back home had lipstick on them. I will never consign anything at this store anymore. I would rather throw my designer items in the TRASH, rather than let this store CONSIGN them. An associate said she was going to talk to the manager and get back to me regarding this situation, and I haven't heard from any of them. I think she said that so I can leave the store and not let any of the other CUSTOMERS know what was going on. Take you items to DRESS FOR SUCCESS! I will never RECOMMEND anyone to bring anything to TURN STYLE HIGHLAND PARK!

Yelp
Still in awe of Turn Style, cause they have a petites section!!! Turn Style literally has something for everyone, and it is all sorted fairly well. (Except for the shoes, still not sure wth was going on with them!) Shopping at Turn Style is fun and convenient. They've got a great selection of clothes and prices were fairly reasonable. I also appreciated the 50% off that they had on green tags one day; Banana Republic petite work pants for $7! Brands ranged from J. Crew to an abundance of Ann Taylor. Also really looking forward to selling some items here. Walk-ins are accepted Monday-Friday with less than 25 items.

Signe E.

Yelp
I am looking to consign some really nice high end items but honestly very hesitant to go there. The last time I took things to the now closed down store on 44th, I am quite positive that some of the staff marked things low so they could buy them. They were oohing and awing over some items as I left. I made a few $'s, not worth my time and I don't feel they were accountable for items that were missing or didn't sell. I have had luck as a shopper but not a reseller. Probably going elsewhere.
google avatar

Marsha W.

Yelp
I've consigned at this shop and shopped in it. They only will take your clothes if they are on a hanger and if they are a brand name (think GAP, Banana Republic, Elle, etc.). Typically, the stuff you would find at chain stores at the mall, Kohls, or Target. If you are looking for vintage stuff, I would suggest looking elsewhere. Staff is pretty friendly and I've found some cool things in here. Once, I found a beautiful top (an Anthropologie label) new with tag in here for $6. Another time, I found a Jean Paul Gaultier top for $12.
google avatar

Amber M.

Yelp
I have been in this store twice and was impressed by both the customer service and selection. There are many sizes too, from 0 to plus sizes. I found many dresses and a couple of dresses that were very reasonably priced (between $12 and $22) There were many name brands available, such as GAP, Banana Republic, Coach, Kate Spade, and many more. My advice would be to check out this store before going to any in the mall.

Yelp
I've definitely never had a great luck at Turnstyle but have found a few things over multiple visits, a friend likes to go. I went looking for a winter jacket recently and bought a Gap one, $58, that I was pleased with. I saw after I got home that it was supposed to have a hood. I called in, knowing I should have been more careful before purchasing and that there was no recourse, but wanting to give feedback. The woman at the store laughed at me and said there was nothing they could do, too bad. I have another place I consign with and they thoroughly inspect items before accepting anything. Live and learn, I will go elsewhere.

Yelp
The selection here is great (notably the J. Crew jeans I found in a variety of sizes); the men's clothing and jewelry selections are small, but worth looking through. The store is well-organized, the staff are friendly, and the bargains are actually bargains!
google avatar

Sal K.

Yelp
This Turn Style has the most friendly staff out of all of the Turn Style shops I've visited. Much of their clothing selection seems to be more worn/used than the other locations, but there's a lot to choose from and it's well lit and nicely organized, making my visits here a pleasant bargain hunting experience.

Troublemaker M.

Yelp
Hopefully this Turn Style is better than the one in Richfield - I personally wouldn't trust any of them. They conveniently lose the expensive items. Dishonest - RUN!

Kimberly T.

Yelp
I'm a die-hard second hand clothes and shoes buyer. Savers, consignment shops and EBay are where I buy the vast majority of my clothes and shoes. I'm willing to pay more for quality, gently used things, just not "brand new" prices. I've shopped at this Turn Style location several times in the past few years because it's near my house, and I've found many nice things at reasonable prices. However, on my last few visits, the things I've purchased should have, I think, been rejected by the store because they were either dirty or smelled. Obviously, I bought the things because I liked them and thought they had potential -- but here are my 3 most recent examples: a) a Coach purse for the relatively cheap price of $42 but that absolutely REEEEKED of pipe smoke (strange, huh??), which a store employee assured me would come out by putting it in a bag with some dryer sheets for a few days (didn't work, nor did washing in my washing machine w/oxyclean 2x, nor did dousing it with Febreeze and leaving it to air out in the porch for days), b) a $25 wool pea coat with hair and other "shmutz" in the hood, and 3) a lambswool sweater that was dingy and stained selling for $22. These last 2 items I took straight across the street to the dry cleaner and paid $23 more to get them into the clean, unstinky condition they SHOULD have been in in order to be accepted for sale by the store. When I buy something at Savers, I totally expect to have the item cleaned or that it might need minor repairs. When I'm paying the 2-4x higher prices of a consignment store, I have commensurately higher expectations. These last 3 experiences have rather discouraged me on the idea of shopping there again. The other comment I'd make for those shopping for kids or if you're a guy is that the selection for these two groups is quite small, especially the kids section.
