Love the atmosphere and the staff are most friendly and their croissants are very good and huge. Nice place to get a good cup of coffee.

During the day: Excellent relaxed atmosphere, tons of space, and good coffee (5 CHF for a Latte).
Great place to work and read, with sofas and comfy chairs. The light in the morning/afternoon was beautiful.
Family friendly, too (so you may hear children running around, as I did, which is cute).

Wonderful atmosphere with cozy feeling! In warmer months, outdoor seating is available, while in December Glühwein IS served in the outdoor area

Very nice ambience outside for talking and drinking. Inside there's frequently good music for dancing.

This place is great for young trendy people as in 'alternative trendy', think democratic party rather than any other. It's suited for meeting friends for a drink or two. The bar staff is very friendly and professional. The music being played is varied. Well suited for travellers desiring to meet open minded locals. You could also just hang out with your computer. Some parents bring their kids in the afternoon or early evening. It has a great atmosphere. Can literally spend hours.

known for being the best club in Bern but unfortunately after changing management it has turned to the boring side of life. The clubbing scene in Bern has lost a heavyweight champion.
