I had the most amazing time! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with such warmth and enthusiasm by the Faith and her staff. The setup was beautiful, with an impressive selection of hats, bands, pins, feathers, and other unique accessories to create the perfect custom piece. The team was incredibly helpful, guiding me through the design process and offering creative suggestions. Can’t wait to come back.

Our impromptu visit to Scottsdale led us here while we vacationed for the first time in Arizona! My daughters and I thoroughly enjoyed our experience and LOVE our customs hats. Customer service was great. We had professional photos done in Phoenix with our hats. Highly recommend!

Super cute store and concept. Went for my birthday and it was a fun activity with my girls. The staff was respectful and fun! Also love that they help you narrow the patches down and it comes together better than i envisioned.

Lauren was wonderful and helped me with my indecisive thoughts. I’ve been wanting a cowgirl hat for awhile and when I️ saw this place, I️ knew this is where I️ needed to go. I️ came back the next day on Sunday, it was perfect and quiet—didn’t feel rushed at all. I’m SO happy and I’m going to love my hat for the rest of my life. Hopefully I️ll pass it on to my girls!

My friends and I didn't know what to expect walking in, but we had SOOO much fun making our hats!! We got trucker hats this time but plan on coming back to get a cowboy hat.

If there was an option for a 10 star review, this place would be more than deserving! I brought my mom here on a recent trip to AZ and what I thought would be a simple shopping stop ended up being an amazing experience. Upon entering the store, we were greeted by Faith who gave us the run down of how everything works. First, we picked our perfect fit hats, then we picked out all of the accessories that spoke to us, then Faith worked her magic putting it all together into a professional custom hat. I didn't know how it would all come together, but Faith has some serious skills! Don't doubt her, just trust her vision and you'll be pleasantly surprised. For my PoC/ ethnic hair shoppers, note that the hats are SATIN LINED!!! I could not believe that I didn't see this marketed anywhere in advance. The lining is not already in the hats, but is added at the end of the process when the hat is being customized. Huge shoutout to Faith and her entire team here that made our experience so seamless and enjoyable.

Turquoise Candy Hat Bar is a 10/10 and I'm so happy I found this spot. Thankfully they were advertised on Instagram and knowing I'd be shopping in Scottsdale downtown, I had to make a stop. I saw that they customize and design trucker hats and cowboy hats which looked so fun and personable. I raved about this place to my friends based on what I saw online and I'm even happier to report that it's just as amazing in person. Walking inside the shop is super cute and girly. It's a western Barbie's dreamland. The hats and designs were all laid out nicely throughout the store so that you could get some inspiration and see all of the colored options. This is definitely the perfect shop for a girls day and my girlfriend's had so much fun helping me customize my hat. I decided to go with the trucker hat look as it's more practical to me and I really loved all of the cool decals and designs. Seemed like the more affordable option and is going to be perfect for my upcoming country and rock n roll festivals. Faith was the staff who helped me and walked me through the process. She was so nice and patient!!! I'm a type A personality, I am organized and structured which doesn't fair well when you have to be creative and design something with 100 options to choose from lol. I was having total mental overload and she was the perfect nicest staff to help me. She assured me just to put down patches I liked and we would figure it out. Thankfully I had my friends too who gave great advice and made sure to help me. Faith laid out the patches in the most perfect way and also talked me off the ledge when I was trying to overdo the hat lol. She clearly cares about you having a badass hat more than just agreeing and trying to push more of a sale by me trying to overload the design. I'm so glad she guided me and was helpful throughout the process. She made my experience A+ and once the pressed my hat it was literal perfect! A Rock N Roll badass trucker hat 100%. Added some cool metal chains to the front and it was good to go. She rang me up and was lovely. The customer service here is stellar and the quality of goods and uniqueness of a store like this makes it the perfect place to get a keepsake from your time here in Scottsdale. I'm now hooked and next time I'm in town I will definitely be coming back for a cowgirl hat, until then I love my custom design and shopping here was a great experience.

Made an impromptu appointment for custom Trucker hats on a trip in town after seeing multiple (very targeted) Instagram ads. We are so glad we did as we had a wonderful experience! After combing through multitudes of drawers containing all kinds of patches, decorations, and other items we selected a large handful of things we liked. The girls were so patient as we tried to design our hats and come up with a design we liked. They came out wonderful and we had such a great time! With that being said, this activity was not cheap and we spent nearly $80 on each hat. The hats came out super cute, but could easily be done at home for significantly cheaper. Loved our experience and would highly recommend!

They have boutique was very nice. Everyone was very friendly. The set up was real easy to navigate you pick your hat you pick your accessories they make and design everything right there in front of you. It's a really nice set up. Took my wife there to get her hat for Valentine's Day and we were very well satisfied the whole process took about two hours.

Service was really good our girl was super nice and accommodating to my requests towards what I wanted, was a pretty fast service only thing I was 2-3 about was the handwriting on my hat, off centered, clumped up together and not being rude or anything but kinda chunky when I thought it was gonna be a more slick look like the posts on instagram. I'm just a little OCD so that's why we asked about the handwriting before hand but I guess it is what it is.

My best friend and I went for her birthday and it was such a wonderful experience! My extremely oversized head was way too big for some of those hats and the girls were very patient with me and I appreciated that! We both LOVED our hats and loved our experience! They have a lot of hat options made in the USA. Very good quality! Never in my life would I have thought I'd own a cowboy hat but here I am and I'm ready for the boots! Highly recommend!

This place was a VIBE! From the minute we walked in I knew I was going to love it! Had a great experience and the ladies at the bar were so sweet and made great recommendations. I appreciate that they didn't try to upsell products just to make a sale but made recommendations that would work with what I designed. Such a wide variety of pins, patches charms and decor to choose from. You won't be disappointed! Custom is always going to cost you but I love my hat and can't wait to wear it. My mom and I went for a fun thing to do together! We were both pretty overwhelmed by how many decorations you can choose from but the gals at the shop were beyond helpful. They take all of the pieces you like and tell you what will work well together. They are truly the artists behind it and I'm so happy with how my hat turned out! And they were very friendly which made our experience even better. Will recommend this place to friends!

I'd never heard of a hat bar prior to this spot - and I was pleasantly surprised! There's so many different hat colors, shapes and sizes. The girls working were incredibly sweet and helpful! They had a great selection of little decorations for the hats. Pretty good price for what you are getting - hat, decor, branding etc. great spot for bachelorette parties!

The vibes are immaculate at this place the staff is amazing and helps you make tasteful choices. You do not need to be a hat or western expert to really enjoy your time at Turquoise Candy Hat Bar. There's a fantastic selection of hats in different styles and colors. They even have trucker hats for people who aren't feeling the cowboy life. Everything is fairly priced for what you're getting. I couldn't be happier!!

First of all, I am floored that this place only has 3 reviews. It is INCREDIBLE! I did not plan to get a cowgirl hat today because 1) I am not a real cowgirl and 2) I thought it would be too expensive. I gave it a shot because my friend wanted to just peek inside. It was such an amazing experience from the moment we walked in that I could not help myself! I was just looking at the hat wall like a normal shopper and then I fell into this amazing time warp and ended up with the most beautiful hat on my head 45 minutes later. Jokes aside, they were so helpful and kind and walked us through every single step to make the hat the best it could be. When one of the girls wrote my favorite song lyric, freehand, on my hat I literally got goosebumps when she gave it to me. I LOOOOOOVE it so much!! This is not a cheap experience by any means but it was so fun and special I truly think it was worth every penny. I will never forget it. What a treat. I wish I was a real cowgirl so I could make even more and actually have a real use for them. Oh! And stop by the boutique they own next to the shop. Such cute clothes. Perfect for concert shopping or just a day with the girls. Highly recommend both places!

I went here with about 10 girls for my bachelorette party and it was amazing! The space itself is so cute and the staff took such good care of us. They made sure we had the best experience. If you aren't sure what looks good on the hat they make suggestions. Everyone's hats turned out so cute.

Finally came in to have a Great Experience making hats with my Mimi me. Camille and Gracie were great making mom daughter memories. We will tell our soccer team about the great time

Most fun you can have during a hot AZ day when visiting Old Town! The ladies working in the shop are so friendly and talented. Even if you think you're not creative enough to design your own hat these ladies will walk you through every step. The only warning I give is these are addictive and you will be back.

Turquoise Candy is the best hat bar in the Scottsdale/ Phoenix area. The owners Julia and Faith are kind, creative, and so helpful in the design process. They offer the highest quality hats and an abundance of add-ons that I haven't seen at other hat bars. Thank you Turquoise Candy! You've got a lifetime customer in me :)

It was busy, not much staff to help, nothing was visibly priced and patches were unorganized .. I spent 2 hours only to leave disappointed. I picked out patches and some ended up being too big for my hat, but the girl ironed them on anyways, no guidance was offered on what would work and what wouldn't. Several patches fell off the same day and others were not symmetrical. I was later told by a friend patches shouldn't be ironed on to the mesh fabric on the back of a trucker hat. I went in the next day to explain the situation & express that when I left the store, I wasn't in love and frankly upset with my $100 trucker hat. The owner said "I shouldn't be upset, as it is JUST a hat, it is custom so it can't be perfect and they do not offer refunds" I left with the $100 trucker hat I will never wear. Save your money and time. You can DIY and order from Amazon for 1/4 of the price & know it will be applied correctly.
