Turtle Island Fiji

After 12 days at Turtle Island, we are refreshed, relaxed, energized, and full of optimism. From private beach picnics to crystal-clear swims, pontoon dining, sailing, hiking, kava ceremonies, and so much more, every day was an adventure. We started each morning with beachside breakfasts, sharing the experience with guests from all over the world. The magic of this 500-acre, remote island resort honoring Fijian heritage is beyond words. Bula and Vinaka to the parrots and the Turtle Island family for making this vacation unforgettable. The warmth, friendliness, and love we received on the island are unparalleled. We were treated like family in the most heartfelt and genuine way. This was our third visit to Turtle Island, and we can’t wait to return next year!

This is a one-of-a-kind vacation that is built around people and experiences. We loved our week on the island and will think about our Fijian family there. We especially loved the opportunity to dine communally and experience Fijian culture through various activities. The private beaches, spa and snorkeling were also some of our favorite activities. I would highly recommend this trip for a honeymoon or anniversary experience. There is so much to love on Turtle Island. Thank you to Mama Laveti for your hospitality as well as Mere, Erami, and the entire staff on the island for welcoming us for our first trip! We will be back soon!

When asked over the years where is that most special place you love in the world? I have always said Turtle Island in Fiji! It's been 32 years and for my 70th birthday my bucket wish was to go back! We just returned from a week of heaven and happy to say it's even better than I remember! What makes this so special for me is the warmth and joy of the Fijian family that you share time with. Their bright smiles and the joyfullness in their singing is something magical. The fact that there are only twelve bure set on a white sand beach on the blue lagoon makes you feel like a castaway on a glorious tropical island. Each day they set aside a private beach where they deliver cocktails and lunch and you radio in when you want to be picked up.. While your bure is very luxurious and EVERYTHING (from diving, sunrise horseback ride to stocking your bar) is included....there is nothing pretentious here but more of a feeling of community. We met people from all over the world that come back every year because there is nothing like this.! Once experienced...never forgotten.

This is the best Fiji resort we have every stayed at. The northern Yasawa Islands are truly beautiful as is the staff at the resort. We felt truly privileged to have spend our 40th wedding anniversary here. This day was made memorable with the staff going over and above our expectations to make our day very special. The quality and variety of food is outstanding. A lot of the produce comes from the Island's farming activities. We loved our private beach picnics and we were lucky to make many new friends who enjoyed each others company. Our bure Mama catered for our every need without being intrusive. This is an exceptional place.

We loved our week on Turtle Island and will be back soon. From the moment you arrive you are family, and you feel the warmth and generosity of people committed to delivering a one-of-a-kind vacation experience. We have so many fond memories thanks to this trip and we especially loved the fun activities offered throughout the week. My husband and I have been to Turtle Island three times in six years! We love it! We love the people, the location, the all inclusive food and beverages, but mostly, the feeling of community when we’re there. It’s like coming home to see old friends!

We eloped a couple weeks ago at Turtle Island and stayed to honeymoon. It was a perfect dream and the best decision we’ve ever made. We will be returning for our 5 year anniversary. The staff was fantastic and the island was stunning! So lucky!

Exceptional in every way imaginable…and then some. Was our first time here, and within no time, staff truly felt like family. Was great getting to know so many of them on a personal level. Their caring for guests is truly authentic, and it can through every moment of every day. Was amazed that from the time we arrived EVERYONE greeted us by name with a hearty Bula!||Particularly loved the scuba diving, with amazing variety of dive sites and exceptional dive masters. Special shout out to Mamma Elle, whose warmth and caring will always be treasured. ||We did the Grand Wedding plan to celebrate our 10th Anniversary, and could not have been more beautifully delivered to us. From our Fijian clothing, to the magical singing, the wonderful words spoken as we recommitted to our vows, the kava ceremony…. If you’re looking for a special intimate wedding, or want to go on the perfect Honeymoon (or send your child on one), this is it. ||We’ll be back!
