Turtle Island is more than just a destination — it’s a feeling. I proposed to Esmeralda here, surrounded by turquoise waters and white sand that feels like powder. She said yes! 💍 And in that moment, we knew this island would forever be part of our story.||From the instant we arrived, the incredible staff made us feel like family. Their warmth, laughter, and genuine care turned every day into something special. They didn’t just serve us — they connected with us, remembered our names, and made us feel completely at home in paradise. We had our own Bure Mama (Laveti) who looked after every need we had.||The food was absolutely outstanding — every meal was a masterpiece. Fresh, local ingredients, perfectly cooked seafood, and flavors that could rival any five-star restaurant. Dining under the stars with the ocean breeze and Fijian music in the background was simply unforgettable.||Turtle Island is breathtakingly beautiful — the turquoise lagoons, lush gardens, and soft white beaches are like something out of a dream. But what makes it truly magical is the people. Their kindness, joy, and heart make this place feel alive.||We left Turtle Island with full hearts, full stomachs, and a lifetime memory. It’s not just a resort — it’s a home you’ll dream of returning to.||We are very happy we chose this place for our special moment.

Bula!!! A lifetime experience. My wife and I visited the island to celebrate our 45th wedding anniversary. We were given a warm welcome with beautiful sining by the staff as my wife was carried off the seaplane (tradition) by staff dress in traditional Liku skirts. Wonderfull Group meals and private beach picnics were the daily norm with a sundry of activites ranging from scuba diving, cave snorkling, bike riding, hiking, and all kinds of fishing. Its great to see the guests come in with the fish to share with all. The limited number of Bures (15) provided a very stress free atmosphere and the Burie Moma or Papa assigned to the each Bure coordinates each day for you and arranges special items. We were surprised by a group of staff who visited us at a private beach to sing for us and provided a personalized cake to celebrate our anniversary. Wow..I can't say enough good about our burie mama as well as the staff in general. There are only two rules on this island. 1. Smile, 2. Refer to rule #1. Vinaka,

Wow! We just got back and I cannot even express in words how to describe it there. This is where premium accommodation meets culture! The bures are beautiful and clean! They are very private and allow you to feel like you are on a beach by yourself! The mama is a nice touch helping you along your journey there. She (or he if you have a papa) will take such amazing care of all your needs. Everyone on the island is truly happy to be there and make all your moments special. We celebrated our 20th anniversary and they pulled out all the stops to make us feel special and celebrated. The food is delicious, there is so much to do if you want to or plenty of places to just unplug and relax. The experience of being on the island is like no other experience you have encountered anywhere in the world! Hospitality to its finest but you feel part of the island family to the point I cried saying goodbye to everyone! It is just the most incredible vacation and we have traveled all over the world! We will be back!!

From the moment we step off the seaplane we fell in love with Turtle Island. While the island itself is breathtaking it was immediately communicated to us that we were family. Every staff member knew our names and embraced us. Having traveled all around the world, Turtle Island exceeded all our expectations. The food, activities, other guests and most importantly the staff ( family) made this the most memorable trip we have ever taken. There truly is nothing like the Turtle Island experience. The food, private beaches and activities are top notch. But what makes Turtle Island so special is the people. It truly is once discovered, never forgotten! Like every trip to Turtle, I leave a piece of my heart with my Fijian friends.

The best vacation we have ever taken! We were celebrating Michelle’s birthday and our 25th wedding anniversary. You are truly part of the family when you visit Turtle Island. From the moment you arrive, the entire staff know you by name. Our Bure was huge, clean and super comfortable. It was nice to relax in the in room jacuzzi after an afternoon at the beach. The snorkeling is spectacular and we enjoyed several of the private beaches throughout the week. There are plenty of activities of you like to stay active. Kayaking, paddle boarding, line fishing, deep sea fishing, crab hunts, mountain biking, archery, horseback riding. Even a trip to a neighboring village. The Bures are very private and quiet. Another highlight of the trip was the nightly Kava with the staff and the other guests. The best part of the whole experience was the people. The staff are all incredibly friendly, positive and full of joy. It is infectious and while sad to go when the trip is over, you leave feeling full of joy and hope. An absolutely wonderful experience from the time we stepped off the plane, were greeted by the staff, and taken to the seaplane port. To the incredible welcome once at the island and the non-stop joy and hospitality while we were there. It was an unforgettable experience and we will definitely be back again in the future.

Turtle Island is everything I could ever have imagined and asked for in a trip to Fiji. From the second we arrived by ferry and walked down the pier, we knew we were in Paradise. The first thing that we noticed was the singing that greeted us. The harmonies were beautiful. The staff sing all the time! We had many opportunities to hear those lovely voices, whether it was at breakfast, lunch, dinner, or in between. We loved our beautiful bure and Mama Elle so much, that we have booked a return trip for our 20th anniversary. We requested the same bure and the same Mama. All of the staff - our new family - made our stay so memorable...Mama Elle, Bill, Bai, Sai, Maggy, Vi, Tevita, Sava, Erami, everybody! The food was wonderful, the water the color blue you want to see in a lovely tropical island, the white sandy beaches, the snorkeling, candlelit dinners on the beach, the music, the sunset cocktail parties on the beach...I cannot say enough good things about this wonderful place. We have booked a return trip. It is a gorgeous island, but it is the people who are drawing us back "home."

Just completed our second trip to Turtle Island. I was nervous about would it meet my expectations because our last trip was so incredible. No worries necessary...it certainly did! We booked Vonu Point which is totally worth it if you can swing it. The views and breeze (& privacy) are amazing! Mama Adi made sure all our needs were taken care of each day, as well as Meme, Joe, Jerry and the rest of the team. We enjoyed many new activities since our last visit in 2018...we met some fabulous new friends we intend on staying in touch with. And we look forward to our return. Well done, Turtle Island!
