Tuscany Bistro Ballina/Killaloe

Highly recommend. The waiter was so friendly and very helpful. I said after ordering that I was vegetarian and he let me know that all the dishes could be adapted for vegetarian, I didn’t have to stick to the vegetarian ‘option’ on the menu. This never happens in restaurants. Normally told no, that that is how the chef does it. The food we ordered was delicious and presented so well. Thoroughly enjoyed.

I went for the Tuscan fish stew but the cream killed the flavour of fish, will chose something different next time. My wife had the Giovanni fish dish which was tasty. Great staff and good service.

The service was kind and the food is decent. I was sorely disappointed in the focaccia bread. It was very thin and not fluffy. Olive oil flavor was lacking. However don’t let this one dish hold you back. The others were well presented and provided good sustenance.

Great Italian food. Very friendly helpful staff. We had a lovely evening here. The Cannoli were fabulous.

Authentic Italian restaurant. The Pasta - Carbonara classic or with egg yolk - delicious! Best Caesar salad - the blue cheese sauce is amazing. Chicken breast, croutons, bacon and ingredients created an outstanding salad. Chicken Cacciatore - unspeakable! For sure we will come back. Pizza Speziata with Chilly Oil is amazing.

We came for our Christmas party.. only a party of 4 this year given restraints. The only thing better than the food was she friendly services. We really felt the holiday atmosphere even amid social distancing and servers wearing masks. The wine menu is excellent and we had to take a bottle home. Thank you Tuscany 5*
