Tuvana Hotel, Antalya, Turkey - Explore & Book

"One of the fastest growing cities in Turkey, Antalya is busy and booming: a necklace of low-rise development spreading along the Mediterranean shore, against a backdrop of Taurus Mountain peaks. But beneath the city’s resort hotels and tree-lined shopping boulevards, there are layers of history - Hellenistic, Seljuk, Ottoman - and its old-town heart remains almost unchanged. Kaleici (meaning Roman Fortress) is a walled labyrinth of narrow, car-free back-streets, steps and alleyways; cafés and carpet shops; fountains of bougainvillea trailing from jasmine-scented gardens. On a hillside above the harbour, this traditional old-town hotel sits right in the historic zone, providing a great stopover or a short break. It consists of three listed buildings (the original, the former home of an Ottoman officer, has been in the same family since the early 19th century). All are half-timbered, with jettied upper storeys, and beautifully restored. There are 46 rooms, a handful of restaurants and a bar, and a pool. The town beach is 5-minute walk; ancient remains at Side, Aspendos, Termessos and Olympos can be seen in a day trip. Highs Central location on quiet side street in historic zone between Ataturk Caddesi (the main shopping street) and the seaThe service, presided over by efficient manageress Nermin, is warm and attentivePretty gardens linked by cool pebbled courtyards shaded with fruit trees (orange, lemon, banana, plum and pomegranate) Easygoing shorts-and-sandals atmosphereGood quality, unpretentious Turkish food served indoors or out Lows Some of the rooms are on the small side and only 6 have any private outside space The pool area smacks of package-holiday hotel and can be busy - but, hey, the sea is just down the roadPiped elevator music throughout the hotel can be a little tiresome (though it is optional in the rooms)As is usual in Turkey, smoking is permitted just about everywhere - ask for a smoke-free room" - Lesley Gillilan

Charming Hidden Gem in the Heart of Antalya’s Old Town We had a wonderful stay at Tuvana Hotel, beautifully tucked away in the heart of Antalya’s historic old town. The atmosphere is truly unique—elegant antique decor throughout the property gives it a warm, timeless feel that sets it apart from any other hotel we've stayed in. We chose one of the smaller two-person bedrooms. It came with a nice balcony. The swimming pool and surrounding garden area are perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring the city. It felt like a peaceful little oasis in the middle of town. Breakfast was excellent, with plenty of options to choose from. We especially appreciated the free private parking, which made things super convenient since we had our own rental car. Highly recommended if you're looking for character, comfort, and a central location!

Very nice hotel, from the staff to the unique location - i would 100% recommend this to someone who’s planning on visiting Antalya, you’ve got ton of exploring close by, from the boulevard to the beach. it’s a super location right in the old city of Kaleiçi. The rooms are very nice and clean, the cleaning ladies were super friendly. personally the breakfast selection wasn’t 100% my thing but it was all very clean and fresh. The staff is super kind and friendly, whenever you pass by they’d greet you very kindly and help you immediately with any questions you may have and offer you a good time during your stay! The pool is also very nice and private, not super big but perfect for some cooling off, and cats included 😉

This hotel is definitely in a good central location in Kaleici (old town) in Antalya. My main concerns (and reasons i would not book here again) are the following: The rooms are quite small and tighh for even two people. The guest service is non existent, the front desk concierge did not even try to know what we want to do in the town and provide suggestions - a very busines like hotel and attitude from them. the breakfast is just ok no comlpaints but nothing great either. They dont provide free water in the room which is ridiculous fo what guets already pay the hotel. Also, they dont even refill the coffee packets ihe room. Finally, the big concern if you want to go to sleep is thatthere's tons of loud thumping party music all around this parts of the work, and you cant find a quiet place in ther hotel rooms till quite late in the night. All in all, terrible sleep quality here.

The Expedia site or the pictures didn’t do justice. It is more beautiful than that. It is a full neighborhood of hotel and 3 restaurants restored from a 250 years old Osmania Khilafat building where one of the rich family lived. We booked the cheapest and smallest room but we got an upgrade to Deluxe which was beautiful with a windows wall from history overlooking a beautiful garden. I felt I was living 250 years ago. ||There is in room coffee, water and mini bar. King size comfortable bed and large bathroom with traditional decor. Room was hot so kept windows open and turned off heat. It was slightly noisy in case you are a light sleeper but I loved it as I was transported to my childhood. It rained one day so we stayed in and the music of rain on trees was so soothing like meditation music. One night we had dessert at the hotel fancy restaurant and it was awwwsom. The day it rained we went to hotel Italian restaurant and had pizza and salad it was fresh and yummy. ||Breakfast was OK as most were cold food and they made omelette if you order. Staff was generally friendly. Yasin who checked us in was outside waiting for us when we arrived to help us park and take luggage. Do spend time looking at decor and restoration along with a lovely terrace. We didn’t use terrace as found people smoking so didn’t want to inhale that. ||Lots to do within the old town or walk around town or go shopping. Lively town with lovely people and cute shops although most have mass produced but others were cute little shops. ||Some useful tips: no iron at all in the entire hotel due to fire codes which wasn’t clear when I booked. I had a formal dinner where I then wore something that wasn’t as formal but I didn’t have a choice. Hotel is in the old town with one way streets and lot of traffic. It was very challenging to drive so I suggest you take a cab and park outside or drive very slow if not used to such driving. Google directions to the hotel were useless given it is a large property and parking lot is on a different side. Make sure you ask the hotel for directions. Unfortunately I asked but hotel staff didn’t answer my emails through Expedia app. Also, to drive inside the old town you need to show your hotel reservations so have it handy

We recently stayed for 2 weeks (1 - 15 Oct) in Tuvana Hotel room 105 and had a wonderful time. The hotel is well located in the old town. The main building is over 200 years old and delightfully furnished. The new parts have been carefully renovated to reflect the original character. The staff are gracious and very helpful. Food is delicious with lots of options. The pool/garden area is an oasis of calm and shaded by many well established trees and flowers. We will definitely return.

I cannot explain how amazing this hotel is. First of all the location is right in the old town but down a beautiful little street so you feel tucked away, it has 3 incredible restaurants and a pool that is never too busy. The rooms and hotel itself are authentic, big, clean and so lovely, cleaned and restocked for you everyday. The breakfast and breakfast itself was one of my highlights - in a fine dining restaurant that is part of the hotel (that I went to on my birthday evening and was AMAZING). The food is incredible and the service is outstanding, even at a self serve breakfast the staff are attentive and bring you the things you need out before asking (for us it was a bucket of ice for our iced coffee!), the seating area is beautiful and never packed. The area of the hotel is just amazing, you feel safe and tucked away but literally in the middle of everything. All the staff are attentive and always there for you should you need, the whole place is just incredible. It took a while for me to choose a hotel as I wanted something in the center of things but not busy or too much going on and I cannot get over how incredible and perfect this place is. The best place I’ve ever stayed at. There are many other boutique hotels in the area but none like this. Absolutely faultless. I’ll be back as soon as I can !!!! Thankyou!!!!!!
