Visited twice during our stay at the Okura hotel. Exceptional service here, very attentive staff. We sampled some bar snacks which we found very impressive! Good drinks list here, plenty of wines, champagnes and world spirits to choose from. Definitely make time to visit for a drink during your stay at the hotel. I certainly would go again.

We had such a lovely time at this cocktail bar! My partner and I stopped by yesterday and ended up staying longer than planned because the drinks and atmosphere were just that good. We tried two cocktails — one was the Basil Smash (which we kept reordering because it was so fresh and delicious), and the other had a hint of honey that made it perfectly balanced and smooth. The service was fantastic — Luis took great care of us with a friendly and professional attitude. The whole vibe of the place is amazing: cozy, stylish, and perfect for a relaxed evening out. Highly recommend!

My recent sunset aperitif hour at Twenty Third Bar Amsterdam was truly amazing. Perched on the 23rd floor, the experience offered a spectacular vantage point. I savoured signature cocktails while enjoying stunning panoramic views of Amsterdam's sprawling skyline. As the sun dipped below the horizon, painting the sky with vibrant hues, the city lights began to twinkle, creating an unparalleled and magical atmosphere. It was more than just drinks; it was an immersive sensory delight, offering a unique perspective of the city and a perfect end to the day.

Great views, excellent service and cocktails. Perfect spot to wrap up a busy fair in Amsterdam and chill. Will definitely be back next time 🍸

The bar is GREAT for a date and for 2 people only. The way this bar is arranged is that it only lets 2 people sit comfortably. If you're 4, then you're all sitting right next to each other. (You can see in my photo) this is why I gave it a 4 stars. We tried corner seats (2 on one corner and 2 on the other corner) but it was still difficult. Drinks are good! Food also. Typical prices in this kind of hotel so just know this before you go. I already knew how much I was gonna spend before going there. Services also very good. Definitely really nice place for a date. Views good too as far as Amsterdam goes👍

The place is quite cozy, with a beautiful view of the city, although it is not easy to sit as a group next to the windows. Rich menu for cocktails and whiskey and the food wasn't bad either, not cheap though. I would recommend it for a quiet night out.

Very friendly service, but the prices are a bit high as expected. The ‘woo woo’ cocktail was delicious. Overall a good experience, but not quite the rooftop experience we were looking for.

Yelp
Five stars all around. Service, ambiance and drinks. Shout out to Paul who we saw a few times during our visits to the bar. He recommended a few drinks based on what we were in the mood for and accommodated us throughout. Definitely recommend.

Yelp
This bar is awesome. It is beautiful, drinks are well done and view is astonishing. Not cheap though but regular 5 star hotel prices especially considering this Okura Hotel has a few restaurants with michelin stars. Tried having dinner but all restaurants were fully booked for weeks. Dry Martini was well prepared with nice snacks aside.

Yelp
What an amazing location! Towering high above Amsterdam this bar offers what must be the best view in the city. On the 23th floor (hence the name) of the Okura Hotel you'll find an absolutely fabulous bar. The ambiance, the service, the drinks and the cocktails are simply perfect! And then there's the view. The bar boasts an almost 180 degree view over Amsterdam, right from the 'Zuid-As' business district to the harbor north of the city. Don't expect to find a cheap drink or bite at this venue, but then again; excellence comes at a price. Shame no one offered to collect our coats. And I think it's outrageous a hotel dares to charge €4,- an hour for parking when you spend well over €40,- on two glasses of champagne. That just doesn't show a sense of hospitality. Besides that, the place is an absolute hotspot for a chic night-out!

Yelp
This is my 400th review! :) Twenty Third bar wasn't really my thing. I went there because of the view, and because it is only 3 minutes on bike from my home. The view was amazing and I am happy that I went to this bar because now I know how beautiful or city looks from up high, but I would not go back to this specific bar, because it was so expensive. A glass of wine is not available under 10 euros, beer not under 6 and cocktails start at 15 euros. That is just hysterical! I knew I could expect something like this from a fancy hotel bar but still. There were no cheaper options at all. Also, the bar was not very cozy, it was a bit to small, there were not enough seats and the staff wasn't particularly helpful. The experience just isn't worth the money you would spent here. Yeah, sure, go there sometime to see the view, but one drink is enough for that. There are plenty of cooler (cocktail)bars around where you'll pay much less for a night out.

Yelp
I absolutely loved the bar and the ambience. The service is upclass as is the ambience. They stock nearly every kind of liquor you might want, and the menu is pretty decent as well, with some non-conventional items. The trick is to find one of the loveseats at the windows or you're stuck somewhere in the middle of the small room which doesn't make it any nicer, definitely not cheaper, than other bars. But once you find that coveted spot, the drinks and the munchies keep on flowing. The staff is attentive and makes sure you're never waiting for service. The noise levels are surprisingly quite low even though this place gets really crowded. When you're done drinking, there's even a top-rated restaurant next to the bar. All in all, very expensive, but comes with the perks.

Yelp
Stopped in here for a drink before dinner (around 6:30). It was very quiet as it was just us and one other couple. Maybe should have come later in the evening. Views are nice, but was hoping for outdoor space and livelier atmosphere.

Yelp
A small little bar on the 23rd floor of the Okura hotel. Great view and expensive drinks. I wasn't that impressed but could be a nice spot to drop in for a drink or two at the end of a date. There is an extensive list of cocktails, liquor and wine, but only a small selection of wine by the glass. The glass of Chablis I ordered was decent, not good or great. Would have expected more from this sort of place.

Yelp
The best view of Amsterdam to have cocktails, wine or champagne? Yes, Okura hotel has a marvellous night view of the city. It's a great place to get dolled up and enjoy dinner or cocktails. I have been here several times in the past and loved every time I came here. What a beautiful and fabulous hotel. I regret that I did not visit the one in Japan when I lived in Tokyo. The view of the city on the top floor of the hotel is fabulous at Okura. The bar and restaurant is separate, so I would suggest making reservation if you plan on attending their five star restaurant. My favourite bar in Amsterdam is the "Twenty Third Bar", it's situated on the 23 floor with a top view. We use to love coming here to soak up the ambiance, special cocktails and spectacular view at night. The only reason I have not been back is due to my medical botch surgery in Amsterdam, but it is a must try. Yes it is pricey, but hey you pay for what you get.

Yelp
Decent bar however drinks were a bit overprced. Not really a surprise but i dont think they were worth it. I guess you are paying for the location.
