TWG Tea at Republic Plaza

Nice staff, small shop, only to buy tea, there is not space to sit and have some tea.

🟨 TWG Tea at Republic Plaza 9 Raffles Place, #01-09/10, Singapore 048619 🔵 My husband & I visited the TWG Tea counter kiosk at Republic Plaza to purchase two gifts. ⚫️ The experience was delightful, thanks to the exceptional service from Ivan and Mary. 🟧 The TWG counter exuded elegance, reflecting the brand's high-end reputation. ▪︎The decor was sophisticated, with a refined aesthetic that showcased TWG's luxurious tea offerings. 🟦 The ambience was upscale and refined, fitting for a premium tea brand. ❇️ Ivan and Mary provided pleasant and knowledgeable service, helping me select the perfect gifts a box of Shortbread cookies and almond cookies. 🟩 Their expertise and friendly demeanour made the experience enjoyable. 🟦 Overall, I feel that TWG Tea's Republic Plaza outlet is a great shop for those seeking a luxurious tea-related gift and premium cookies. 🟧dated 5th May 2025 Mon.

My husband went to purchase loose tea leaf today at noon time and the lady at the counter (who looked to be a non local) displayed poor attitude and customer service etiquette. This is a luxury tea shop but the service is so disappointing and extremely lacklustre. My husband explained that he received a discount in the past when he purchased a certain quantity of tea but the lady aggressively challenged him and suggested that he was lying. TWG should look into their training to improve the service mindset of their staff. The gentleman on the other hand was fantastic and very polite.

Comparing with the number of times I've been to TWG's other branches, the service here needs to improve. Big thumbs down to the woman with short black hair who is manning the cashier. She spoke to me like how your hawker aunty/uncle would, with an irritated voice and stare as if I am bothering her with her otherwise quiet weekday afternoon predicament. You cannot expect the type of service from the MBS tea room from her, making this a terribly poor experience. Anyway kudos to the gentleman who assisted me the best he could with tea selection and bothered to properly gift wrap the item for me.

The lady who served me,(show on the receipt) Miss Phuan Yen Yen, was very patient with me, she was very good at handling my my requests. I had a really pleasant customer experience when she was serving me, that prompted me to buy more from her.

Favorite tea, should have brought an empty suitcase.

Didn't get the name of the lady who served me. She's friendly and patience in recommending tea as I'm getting gifts for friends. Good service!
