"If you want to eat like a local, try heading to Potter’s Cay—an enclave of modest fish shacks tucked beneath the bridge to Paradise Island. The most famous of these is Twin Brothers, which serves up paper plates full of deliciously authentic cracked conch, conch fritters and citrus-marinated conch salad."

I would rate this restaurant a 3.5 star. The staff was very kind. The food was service HOT, which was great because I do not like cold food. The fritters came in a timely manner. However, our food took sometime to receive. And when we did receive it we received one to two dishes at a time. So some of our party was done eating while waiting on the others to receive and eat their food. The food was hot and filling, but very blend. There was no seasoning whatsoever. I was really expecting to eat some authentic Bahamas food, and I don't think we got it here. 😕

We only had a few hours in Nassau but wanted to try the local cuisine, so Twin Brothers was a good option for us. We were warned that the conch salad was made fresh and could take up to 45 minutes, but it ended up only taking about 15. The salad was good, but the cracked conch was the real star. It was fresh and delicious, and the portions were generous!

First time trying Conch fritters here and they were amazing! If you’re looking for authentic Bahamian food, I definitely recommend Twin Brothers. The food was really good, though the service could be improved. The atmosphere has a local, laid-back vibe, which is part of the charm. Heads up for non-locals: if you’re staying in Downtown or Paradise Island, be prepared to pay for taxi service to get there it can be pricey, so negotiate upfront before heading to the Fish Fry. Overall, a great spot for delicious Bahamian food and a local experience.

Authentic Bahamian food, and were commanded by a local taxi driver. The food is ok, we had fried snapper, conch fritter and conch salad. However, the food is very slow to come up - may take up to 1-1.5 hours.

The fried snapper, coleslaw, and plantains were absolutely delicious! Thank you so much for the birthday chocolate rum cake; it was a lovely treat! Our waitress was really friendly, although we had to keep asking for water, and it took a bit longer than we expected to settle the bill. Overall, it was a wonderful experience!

Had no idea what to expect for a fish fry on a Friday night in Nassau. Vibes were high but my god the food at twin brothers exceeded any expectation imaginable. The daiquiris were the best I’ve ever had and pairing them with the fried shrimp, conch and jerk chicken was spiritual. The Bahamian jerk chicken was a top 5 chicken and I eat a LOT of chicken. 10/10 ez.

I ordered jerk chicken and it was good had a good flavor, macaroni is not the “American Macaroni” that I’m use to I didn’t like it, rice and beans we dry didn’t care for it. Service was terrible. We sat there for 20 mins without anything to drink and everybody kept passing by asking did our server come take our order. Daiquiri was very good had a good flavor one of the best drink I had while being on island.
