Yelp
Twin Cities Reptiles is excellent -- A+++
I've been a customer for decades...since they were located in Golden Valley...and before that (when I was a little kid) when they were located in Hopkins. They're awesome!
Of course, TCR sells "exotics" like reptiles, amphibians, and invertebrates. They also sell specialty food (or "feeders") like live mice, live rats, meal worms, crickets, and more. They have all manner of cages, tanks, terrariums, and "habitats".
They sell main stream pet supplies too! They have food, supplies and accessories for your dog, cat, or small animal.
Finally, the staff are incredible. They're knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. The owners, Bruce & Sarah are great.
I really can't say enough good things about Twin Cities Reptiles.
Just go there and check it out!

P.S. As a side story... My dad used to take me to Twin Cities Reptiles in the 1970s, when I was in elementary school. They were at the first location in Hopkins. I loved to look at the weird baby turtles like the Mata Matas and the Yellow Headed Amazon Sidenecks (now on the endangered species list). My dad used to work at the North Central Airlines and he'd frequently bring home animals when he came across a broken crate and animals running around loose in the baggage area! He'd bring home mice, rats, hermit crabs, hamsters, etc. One time he brought me about 10 hamsters. After a few months, I had only one really BIG male hamster! I thought they were escaping somehow. My dad brought me to Twin Cities Reptiles. Bruce explained to me, "Didn't you know that male hamsters are cannibalistic?" Yuck - NO, I didn't know that! This was in the days before the internet. I had to go to the library or talk to guys like Bruce. Thanks for many great years in business and many memories, Bruce!
