Twin Forks Tavern

Fantastic atmosphere, food, and staff. Everyone was knowledgeable of their offerings and made great menu suggestions. They found out we were celebrating our 16th Anniversary and gave us a delicious free desert. I had the Wellington and my Wife had the Duck. Both were great and exceeded our expectations. We will be coming back for Seafood Saturday and to see all the smiling faces running such a great spot.

Had an exquisite duck dish and Mom grabbed a gluten free pizza (but they didn't have dairy free cheese). Very nice area and nice atmosphere inside (though current Halloween decorations are a bit odd). Only significant complaint was wheelchair ramp came up to a locked door and Mom had to weave the walker between patio chairs, tables and gaps in the deck. On the way out they briefly unlocked that door for us but ought to be accessible all the time. Otherwise, very nice place.

This restaurant is a mid to upper class gem. My girlfriend and her family have been coming here for years, and the head chef is very talented and likes to add little surpise twists to the menu. You can get there by taking either of the Turkey Creek exits off of highway 285, just past Indian Hills

I had an incredible experience at Twin Forks Tavern! The staff was so warm and welcoming from the moment we walked i, truly top-tier hospitality. The real star of the show was the prime rib. It was absolutely amazing and easily the biggest cut I have ever seen. It felt like I was staring down the Old 96er from The Great Outdoors! Definitely come hungry and be ready to take some home, because the portions are no joke. The attached picture was after my girlfriend and I had already tore into it.

Made a reservation but were sat at a high top with no tablecloth and paper napkins instead of cloth like the rest of the restaurant. Felt like the B seats. We should have spoken up so not blaming restaurant. Brussel sprout appetizers were excellent. Beet salad was mostly arugula with 4 slices of bland roasted beets and little feta. I've had this before and it was excellent. Blackened shrimp in my scampi was excellent but linguine sauce so bland and tasteless I couldn't eat it. Partner had sugar steak and didn't feel the quality of the meat met the price of the dish. Plating was very nice. Decided to forgo dessert and cut our losses. Been here many times and enjoyed it. They were very busy and restaurant was full. Maybe just an off night.

The presentation was amazing! But the steaks were hit and miss. One of my trip had a wonderful crust, but the other two did not and were bland. The caprese salad was absolutely amazing, the basil was a little ripe but I would definitely order it again. The deserts were awesome, we got the creme brulee strawberry cheesecake. Omg we would come back just for that. Wow.

Tasty, upper class eatery hidden just off the highway. Finally stopped in here and really enjoyed it. Although the name says tavern it's a bit fancier than expected. I felt a little under dressed! The onion soup was great and so were the brussel sprouts. The lamb was tasty as well. This would be a good place to come for a more upscale dinner without the frills of a downtown establishment. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The cocktails are dangerously tasty. Definitely give this place a try. For a main, two sides, desert and cocktails we spent about 70$pp with tip. They also have what looks to be an event space for rent

It was our first time at Twin Forks and wow were we impressed. From the amazing service (Luke did a fantastic job explaining the menu options), the old fashion, to the delicious food we could not have had a better meal. We ordered the chimichurri and the buffalo short ribs specials. We ended with the white chocolate bread pudding which we could have eaten 10 more of. If you’re in the area you have to give this place a try!! We will absolutely be back!

What a fabulous experience! The customer service was outstanding--every person we encountered was warm, engaging, and went out of their way to ensure everything was perfect. The food was fantastic--the Brussels sprouts were incredible, and I loved the seafood special (miso cod). The cocktails were excellent as well. Can't wait to come back! We also appreciated the decor; super cozy, inviting and not overwhelming.

I found Twin Forks Tavern online. Was looking to take my friend in Littleton to dinner (as a thank you) someplace a cut above the rest. The restaurant had a warm, friendly vibe. Service was good. Our dinners were mixed, however. I started with the Split Pea Soup for my appetizer. The soup was flavorful but served mildly warm. It cooled down quickly. My friend & I ordered the same entree - Mahi Mahi with Macadamia Nuts and rice. The dish tasted fine but was quite ordinary. The carrot cake for the dessert course was the most memorable part of our meal. It was everything a slice of carrot cake should be. I give our experience 3 stars. In these post-Pandemic/higher inflationary times, everything costs more despite the experience leaving one to wonder, "Did I really pay that much for dinner?" If I were to return to the local area, I might give Twin Forks Tavern another try. Or I might search on...

We hadn't been here in a long while, but the duck wings are as good as we had remembered! The menu hasn't changed much I've the years - they still do prime rib on... Fridays? They still have salmon and steaks and salads. Now they have a steak trio - which two in our party enjoyed. Another had the macadamia crusted mahi mahi - this serving was HUGE! Ended up taking half home. I got the 6oz filet special with gorgonzola sauce - super tender, delicious and with a few asparagus stalks and mashed potatoes. Drinks were tasty as well - everyone was happy! And service was as we remembered - pleasant with water glasses kept full!

Have eaten at this restaurant several times and both the food and service is consistently great. The only thing that I would criticize is the size of their alcoholic drinks. You pay a premium price for 3 or 4 swallows.

Wonderful! I must stop! Friendly service. Good food! Had duck wings with their tavern sauce. Oh my. So so so good! Had a batter on them with a wonderful crunch! Prime rib special. 32 oz medium rare only with an au jus that was amazing. A pound baked potato and perfectly cooked green beans. Desert was amazing. A port sampler. 10,20,30,40 year with a rich chocolate cake accompanied by Gorgonzola and walnuts. Turned into a masterful combination! What a delight. We shared the prime rib. I thought she said 18 oz. Not 32 oz. Oh well no regrets. Usually I do not order prime rib out because I have not found anywhere that is as good as mine. This is the exception. The horse radish sauce was perfect.

We just love this place. Small, and quaint. The food is amazing! Everything we've ever had there we've loved. The service staff is also truly outstanding. Last night we went for my wife's birthday and had a wonderful time. Complementary dessert for her whose was a cool bonus. I would definitely suggest the Thai glazed duck as a starter. They're just crazy good. In fact, so good that we got a second order to take home. I had the shrimp scampi for my main dish and it was delicious! Twin Forks staff really takes it over the top though. I highly recommend this eatery!!

This place blows any Denver steakhouse out of the water. Everything on the menu is so amazing I had the flat iron and I cleaned my plate. Which I barely do. My husband got the prime rib which is in special for Fridays. He is a prime rib conesuier and he says this place is hands down the best prime rib. The deserts are phenomenal. Take a drive and come to twin forks. They should have the title of best restaurant in Colorado. From food to service it was all top notch!.

What a wonderful surprise to find this culinary gem in the mountains near Red Rocks. The pork chops were huge, the salmon was spicy but delicious, and the beef Wellington was perfectly prepared. Nice wine selection and full bar. Highly recommend if you're near Littleton or Morrison

Everything! I've only eaten there a few times, but every time the food has been melt in my mouth delicious. Staff are friendly and the manager even took time to walk around to check on everybody.

We came in from out of town for shows at Red Rocks. This place is a hidden gem. Super friendly staff, and the steaks we ordered were amazing. Relaxing atmosphere.

Food, service, and ambiance were all a ten out of ten!!! Prime rib was amazing as always and we shared a wonderful end cut which gave us both what we like. Roger & crew do a great job at making everyone feel special and welcome. The chocolate martini was wonderful and the strawberry cheesecake was like none other- out of this world. Ambiance was extra special so if you want an upscale place with prices that are reasonable you really need to try this place.

We had a great Valentines dinner at Twin Forks. We shared the Caprese Salad and the double cut Pork Chops with Raspberry Chipolte Sauce. Both were excellent. Service was top notch as always. Roger and his staff has this gem fined tuned. Why drive down the hill? Thank you Twin Forks.

We had the most bizarre experience at Twin Forks Tavern. After deciding we weren't going to eat there because my husband wasn't feeling well, we were stopped in the dining room by the executive chef who was offended that we "didn't find anything we wanted to eat on her menu" which was untrue. She was loud and made a scene, and we were forced to give her an answer because she was blocking our way out. Also our server Laura was the rudest waitress we have ever encountered. She was snotty, unfriendly, entitled, and made the "I'm disgusted" noises under her breath when she was picking up the menus after we let her know we were going to leave because of my husband not feeling well. We still stopped to tip her anyways for stopping by the table a few times, and she pretended to ignore us from behind the bar. The bartender had to get her attention and at that point, the entire restaurant was silent watching things unfold. Laura didn't want to accept the money at first, but then took it with a rude and flat "Thanks." Literally awful energy from her and she is extremely ungrateful. Like I said the whole experience was just bizarre and left us scratching our heads. Based on the staff alone, this place isn't worth spending the money on with what they charge for prices on their menu. The vibe is off, the server we had was and probably still is atrocious, and the executive chef has some sort of ego complex.

I had my wedding rehearsal dinner here a few months ago and the staff were absolutely spectacular. I was in a bit of a bind and had 10 days to set everything up for 30-some people. The staff here worked with me, and set up an amazing dinner for us. I was shocked at how seamless everything was considering the amount of time we had to plan. The most accommodating group of people I've ever met. The food, just as excellent. I highly recommend Twin Forks Tavern. Some of the best in the business.

I had the steak trio and it was phenomenal! I believe they switch up the styles, but this one was a coffee rubbed with pomegranate over sweet mashed potatoes, a Gorgonzola cut over scalloped potatoes, and a cut with house made bone marrow butter over whipped potatoes and boy was it fantastic!! The drinks are delicious as well and the service is excellent. It's a bit of a hike, but totally worth checking out!

This is a great place for a lovely dinner! They are very welcoming and attentive to their guest. The chef visited our table and had a great chat. Server was stellar!

Neat place with a great menu. Friday nights is Prime Rib night. Huge and large enough to share. Pretty good cocktail menu as well.

Twin Forks consistently serve delicious five star food at very reasonable prices. I love the salmon and pork chop entrees the best. This time I had the meatloaf, mashed potatoes and green beans, and it was wonderful. Most entrees can be split, especially when you also have a salad or appetizer. The service has always been top notch, knowledgable and attentive.

Visited Twin Forks with my husband for date night. The service and food were great! The clam chowder was the best I have ever had! I also loved the Caprese salad and felt like these were a great value. My husband got the filet trio which was fun and also very good! Definitely an older clientele but I think updating the decor, like new upholstery on the booths, would give this place a more new age feel. But either way, this is a hidden gem and we will return!

We have enjoyed going to Twin Forks as a reliable, upscale dining room with consistently delicious food and attentive service. Great selection of steaks, chicken, seafood, pasta and pizza. Wonderful cocktails and wine options!

What a great little gem. It feels old school which is pretty cool but the food is anything but that. Since this place is 4 miles from my house we fully intend to go quite often. They do have limited hours so make sure you check that. A beautiful drive if you are coming from the city. And the staff is ridiculously awesome. Cant wait to go back.

Went here to celebrate my son's 20th birthday, and this place did not let us down. The ambiance was lovely the service was beyond spectacular and the food was possibly one of the best meals I've had in a long time!! I love that they have blue cheese stuffed olives in their martinis!

We just got pizza to go, but I waited inside and the dining area looked really nice. The staff was friendly and my pizza was ready right in time. The pizza was good, but the review is 4 star rather than 5 because I wanted a mild sauce. The sauce on the pizza had too much bite due to the crushed peppers in it.

Hadn't been here since before the pandemic but glad to see it as busy as ever on Father's Day. We did an afternoon hike at Staunton State Park and this was the perfect dinner stop on the way home. Last time we were here was with my late Father so it seemed appropriate as well. We didn't have a reservation but the hostess got us a table promptly in the crowded dining room. The service was attentive and friendly. The food presentation was impressive and everything tasted wonderful as we remembered. I had the meatloaf special which our waiter told us is a Sunday regular. Highly recommended!

This was our second time coming here, probably won't again. We got the soup of the season which was lobster bisque, it had zero flavor and definitely no lobster. The color reminded me of orange dyed milk that got separated. We also ordered the duck meal, it is not on their online menu. It was $35 for 4 pieces of duck that was freezing cold, came with mashed sweet potato that tasted soured, and sautéed spinach which wasn't bad. The service was good and everyone was kind and attentive. We came back because i've been thinking of the duck for a month but this experience let me down so much and I don't think we'll be back. Last time I got the brussels' sprout app and it was delish so such a let down.

Not family friendly, had a bad experience with the waiter and owner. Priced like a fancy restaurant, but food is run of the mill and the desserts we ordered were still frozen. The atmosphere is essentially "middle aged, single woman" Homegoods decor. I recommend skipping it.

Great pizza! Wonderful, friendly, local staff. We called ahead and picked up pizza fast. Will be our go-to. Caesar salad was amazing too.

The word Tavern does not describe this restaurant. We were looking for a romantic night out for our anniversary. We found that Twin Forks Tavern fit the bill. I recommend the Beef Wellington. It's now our new "go-to place" . We'll be back.

Really a nice place! Staff is very attentive and helpful. The menu is varied with lots of fantastic options. We enjoyed the pork chop and the blackened steak. Delicious! Nice venue and overall a good experience.

Really great service! I had the steak gorgonzola pizza and firecracker shrimp. Both worth the try!

Drinks good & friendly staff. Outdated decor & not child friendly. Might be supply issue but Shrimp cocktail came out warm similar to diner shrimp. Coconut shrimp was cooked uneven, and had an off taste that we had to send it back - again similar to a diner. The Mahi Mahi was dry on the outside, very fishy smell but juicer in the middle. The NY steak had an extremely salty seasoning. We were there mid week so it wasn't a busy time. Unfortunate and expensive experience. Other than the drinks, pizza and the bread plate, everything else was an issue.

This is a gem. I knew it was different when I noticed the wallpaper was actually wine cases. As a wino this is very cool. The service before a concert at Red Rocks was outstanding. Very attentive without rushing us out. The food was surprisingly good. I had the three steak sampler which was cooked as I wanted. My wife has fish that was perfectly cooked. It's a treck for us but we will be back.

Five stars for food, service, and ambiance. Twin Forks was always at the top of my list for outstanding restaurants in every regard. I wish we still lived in the state, so we could continue frequenting this excellent restaurant.

This is one of our go to places for casual but upscale dinner amazing food and drinks. Always a great place to go. Encourage reservations.

The wait staff is very nice. Went here as a group of 4. We had 2 shrimp appetizers, and their Brussels sprouts. These were good, although the Brussels sprouts were dry and had no Brussels left. This is more of a wine place than a cocktail place so keep that in mind. I was eyeing the New York strip, with a mushroom glaze. I asked for "chef's choice" on how it is prepared. I usually do that with steak because obv, they know best. This was the downfall. I was told it would come out rare, I said that is fine. The steak was good, very flavorful. The potatoes it came with tasted fishy however, 3 out of 4 of us got their pan seared potato square and all of us said it tasted like fish. Anyway, about 6 hours later I get a bout of food poisoning. I don't know what part of the meal it was, but I'm assuming that since I'm the only one that got this steak, that it was the culprit. Brutal. If this wasn't the case I would give it another star. My wife's white fish was mediocre. Apparently the pork chops are good. Just be careful ordering "chefs choice" on the steak. Once I get food poisoning I'm done with a restaurant. Only has happened to me one other time in downtown Denver and I also never went back. Perhaps it was a bad cut of meat, maybe it was left out too long. But that meal ended up in a toilet bowl. I don't like wasting money.

This place was wonderful! The brussels sprouts, and our tri-cut steak platter was unbelievably good. The executive chef and wait staff were attentive, and we had a wonderful time with friends eating dinner.

We had a wonderful experience here. Service, food and ambiance were all great. My husband had the pork chop and it was perfect! I had the steak medallions and they were a wonderful medium rare. Just delicious! Our server, Andi was lovely- helpful and attentive but also gave us our privacy. Beautiful view of the foothills too! Highly recommend!

Our first time here. Tyler gave us excellent service and recommendations. We had the potstickers as an appetizer, which was delicious. I had the wedge salad which was amazing. We split the steak trio, which was cooked to perfection. Then we did the chocolate cake with a raspberry sauce and the crème brûlée, both of which were lovely. I like it that the staff work as a team, which in my opinion, all restaurants should do.

I would recommend this quaint little establishment, nestled in the foot hills just outside Denver, to anyone looking for a wonderful date or small gathering. They provided an amazing culinary experience and has a diverse staff with broad global perspectives. Their hospitality has been on point the multiple times I've gone and figured more people needed to know. We we're served amazing food and drinks and we're waited on by a server named Janet who was a som and able to recommend perfect pairings for dinner and desert. We were later introduced to the 30 year, Cordon Bleu trained, master chef who gave us both hers and the restaurants histories and discussed ingredient sourcing and menu. I'm not sure how these guys have stayed off the radar for so long but figured I'd give you a heads up and them a shout out. Cheers,

After a busy day I needed a light dinner with a drink and this hit the spot. Service (Chelsie)was great and so was the food! I enjoyed it so much I ordered a decaf coffee and ate a few bites of the lemon cake and took the rest home. I WILL be back!

Food was inedible. So much salt in the potatoes it burned my throat. At least the liquor came of of a bottle and they could not mess that up.

We had dinner at Twin Forks on Saturday night and had the most amazing dinner...and service! Andy was our server and she was the best. Extremely knowledgable about the menu, extremely friendly and didn't make us feel rushed AT ALL! When we had a question about their monthly special dinners, the chef, Shoshona, came out and spoke to us in person. We always apprciate the special care they take to treat us well and the food is absolutely delicious. It is our special place to go when we want amazing food and to be treated great! And the holiday decorations were absolutely beautiful, as well. We will be going back many, many more times. :)

My wife and I wanted to try something different. Something new. Thank god we did because we discovered this place. Best cocktails, apps and meal we've had in a very long time.
