Twin Oaks

I stopped in at Twin Oaks in Savannah, TN and ordered the 12 oz ribeye, cooked medium rare. The steak came out perfectly cooked—juicy, tender, and spot on with the temperature. The only thing I’d note is that the pepper seasoning was a bit heavy for my taste, which slightly overpowered the natural flavor of the meat. On the other hand, the bacon-wrapped asparagus was excellent—crispy, flavorful, and a perfect complement to the steak. Overall, a great meal with just a small tweak needed on the seasoning to make it outstanding. I’d definitely come back.

Inside was really well put together. The waitress was polite and friendly! I had their version of Monterey Chicken ( Cheese/Bacon/Honey Mustard ) with steamed veggies. The chicken was chewy but edible. Maybe cooked too fast? Veggies were typical with a side salad. My buddy had the Buffalo Chicken wrap and fries. He loved the wrap. I thought the steak fries were decent.

BEST steak hands down in this area of TN!!!! Came in around 8 pm and hour before closing, they didn't rush us, answered all our questions and even gave recommendations.... and I will say the recommendations were spot on for what we were looking for!!! The 16oz Ribeye was amazing and cooked exactly how I like it the 1st time!!! Will definitely be back multiple times!!!

I hate these places that add "convenience" fees. This place does 4%. Really the only negative. It will hurt the servers I'm afraid. Fries were some of the best I've ever had. Cafeteria (buffet) style dining or order off menu. Good Southern fare.

My husband works across the street, and we like to eat lunch here. 😀 He likes the bbq, and I usually get the plate lunch. It is a meat and three plate with a choice of roll or cornbread that comes with a cup of dessert. It's a heaping plate of delicious food, so bring your appetite!

Wow! These were the best 1/2 rack ribs I've ever had. I was just passing through, looking at homes, near lunchtime, and I noticed there were quite a few cars in the parking lot. Normally, I check reviews before going into any restaurant, and gave this one a pass due to the amount of cars on a Wednesday afternoon. The menu is stacked; the food is awesome; the service was great; the place was clean. One of the best lunchtime experiences I've ever had! I will definitely be back, and I recommend this restaurant if you are in this neck of the woods!

FRIENDLY STAFF. ANSWERED ALL OF MY QUESTIONS.. THERE WERE ALOT😅🤣 THE BBQ NACHOS HAD LOADS OF MEAT AND WAS A LARGE PORTION. EVERYTHING WAS DELICIOUS👍👍👏👏👏👏

The food was good, but the waitress forgot to hang up our ticket. I understand accidents happen, but this is the second time it has happened to our family. The service is not the best.

Cute, modern farm house style. As you enter, there is a small gift shop area before reaching the reception. A white board was displayed near the entrance to list the buffet special of the day. We ordered off the menu, started with a huge basket of fresh, hand battered fried mushrooms. Delicious! It wasn't too busy for a Friday lunch hour, but I only saw one waitress, along with the manager, a cashier/"food runner, and a few cooks in the kitchen. All keeping things running smoothly. They have a great bakery section, but the cookie case, at the register counter, was completely empty. Their Vegetable beef soup is freshly homemade, hot and delicious. Excellent baked beans!!

This place was terrible.... The service sucked... the food was cold.... And it didn't taste very good.... And it seemed like we needed to beg to get a drink refill.... And they put us in a little room off to the side and it felt a little like a jail cell.... I absolutely do not recommend this place!!

We went in about an hour before they closed and they were fast, friendly & food was hot. Love the small town & the locally owned part about this restaurant. The service was great & our food was even better. We would love to go back!!

Just had dinner again at twin Oaks! This is the most consistent restaurant in Savannah! The steak medallions are like 3 filets at once always cooked to perfection! Their baked beans are the best in the area and the service is top notched! Brandi always serves with a smile!

The food was fresh, well portioned, let me rephrase the fried chicken sandwich was actually huge, ribs great! Staff was fantastic!

We were visiting from out of state and stumbled upon Twin Oaks. The food was amazing, my husband said the bacon cheeseburger was the best burger he has ever had. The shrimp tacos were delicious. The service was quick and friendly. Would 10/10 recommend.

The environment is clean and we dont feel crowded in. The waitresses are kind, friendly, helpful and treat us like family. The food is very good and even though I cant eat bread they work with me so I get a tasty food. We eat often at Twin Oaks. Give then try . We think you'll like it there too. ​

Food is good and the helpings are large. We will go back and expect the experience to improve. Appetizer came after the entree. Wait staff was a bit thin, especially considering how many tables were occupied. Two waitresses splitting 16 to 20 tables is doable but not not ideal: leaves patrons waiting for refills and other needs. Environment is farmhouse, nicely decorated but not too much decor. Desserts looked good but we were not offered dessert at the presentation of our check. Check did not reflect our meal; staff was happy to help with corrections.

Good food, friendly service. I had fried green tomatoes and we shared grilled chicken tenders with green beans and fries. Chicken was a little bland (but good) and my husband wished we had ordered the breaded tenders. Other than that we enjoyed the meal.

We eat at Twin Oaks often the food is always great no matter what you order. A very good restaurant for service and timely food delivery with great home cooking. Thanks SJ

The food was ok. Service seemed a little stressed, but they still did ok. The atmosphere was good.

Twin Oaks was our go-to for breakfast in the past. Yesterday's meal is making us rethink returning. I had an "everything" omelette which was very good. The hash browns, however, were 'interesting'. They were very finely shredded which was an unusual texture. They had no seasoning at all and were not browned to any significant degree, resulting in a pile of starchy mess. I was not offered a choice of bread for the toast and the white bread is bland. My dining partner's over easy eggs needed seasoning, and his sausage patties were as hard as hockey pucks. Cutting them required holding them to avoid them sliding off the plate. His pancake, though huge, again needed flavor. Our coffee had cooked in its pot far too long (and it was only 10 am!). Creamer for the coffee is Coffeemate in individual tab pull single serve containers: there is no real cream option. The prices reflect a substantial increase over the past prices, but the quality does not support the prices. It will be awhile until I go back. I am saddened to have to leave this because we used to enjoy our weekly breakfasts there.

Pleasantly surprised. Found this restaurant 20 minutes before we arrived and had to learn for Sunday, its a choice buffet, where you pick what you want and the plate is given to you. The portions are enough that you're pretty stuffed afterwards. Quality homemade food for an excellent price. Will definitely be back!

we have eaten here twice since our move here. once was about a month ago, food was not anything to write home about, then again last night and the food was awful. had the Shrimp with cheese grits and the only thing good was the 6 small pieces of shrimp. the grits were so bland tgey were terrible and I love cheese grits but definitely not theirs. the side dish of pasta was the most disgusting pasta ever. took one bite and I thought I was going to throw up it was so horrible. The green beans they serve are from a can, seriously?? Tge waitress comes over not long after the plates were delivered and wanted to know how was everything, did not have time to taste anything yet. maybe that is why they ask right away since it does taste so bad. Tea was expensive but good. No ambiance, your in a wide open room and sitting almost on top of the other table. Definitely will not return, if we do, it will be to try a hamburger if anything.

So this place was so good when it first opened. I had the lunch buffet today and got the pot roast. It's 10.99. I got some meat mostly fat. Canned green beans with no seasoning and watery instant potatoes. It has been several months since my last visit and it has definitely declined. You can tell by how many customers were not there this time like last time at lunch. I really hope they take a look at the quality over quantity sooner than later.

The food is delicious and the staff is absolutely precious! Service was impeccable and food came out quickly.

The food, service and atmosphere was perfect. Great place to eat breakfast and will go back to try lunch and dinner!
