Wow! These were the best 1/2 rack ribs I've ever had. I was just passing through, looking at homes, near lunchtime, and I noticed there were quite a few cars in the parking lot.
Normally, I check reviews before going into any restaurant, and gave this one a pass due to the amount of cars on a Wednesday afternoon. The menu is stacked; the food is awesome; the service was great; the place was clean. One of the best lunchtime experiences I've ever had!
I will definitely be back, and I recommend this restaurant if you are in this neck of the woods!

Inside was really well put together. The waitress was polite and friendly!
I had their version of Monterey Chicken ( Cheese/Bacon/Honey Mustard ) with steamed veggies.
The chicken was chewy but edible. Maybe cooked too fast? Veggies were typical with a side salad.
My buddy had the Buffalo Chicken wrap and fries. He loved the wrap. I thought the steak fries were decent.

I hate these places that add "convenience" fees. This place does 4%. Really the only negative. It will hurt the servers I'm afraid.
Fries were some of the best I've ever had.
Cafeteria (buffet) style dining or order off menu.
Good Southern fare.

We visited Twin Oaks Restaurant last night and had a pretty mixed experience, though I see potential in the place.
First impressions were great. The restaurant looks brand new and modern, and we were warmly greeted by a sweet lady at the door. The atmosphere was relaxing with someone playing piano in the background, which added a nice touch. I was honestly expecting the prices to be on the higher end, but it turned out to be pretty reasonable.
We ordered the sampler platter with brisket, barbecue, and ribs — the flavors were solid overall. We also got an appetizer of fried mushrooms. Heads up: these are whole mushrooms, not the sliced kind. They were okay, but I think slicing them would’ve made for a better bite — more crunch and even breading.
We did run into a few service hiccups. It felt like the kitchen was struggling to keep things flowing — food came out in pieces. The cheese fries had clearly been sitting for a bit and were cold when they reached our table. When our entrée came, the sides didn’t arrive until afterward, which was a bit frustrating. The bacon-wrapped asparagus was a letdown — undercooked, oddly prepped, and not nearly enough of it.
Another odd thing: we had to wait for them to brew tea, which isn’t something I’ve ever had happen at a sit-down place. Appreciate the effort, but that’s something that should already be ready to go. Also had to ask three times for lemons, which got a little tiring.
All in all, it wasn't a terrible experience — I’ve definitely had worse — but there’s room for improvement in both the kitchen timing and how some of the sides are prepped and served. With a little more consistency, Twin Oaks could really shine.
