The 30 Best Things to Do in San Francisco in 2025

"For a sweeping 360-degree view of the city I head up Twin Peaks—the two hills rise to about 925 feet—especially at sunset; you can drive or hike up (reach the top in about 20 minutes on foot) and there are lots of trails around the peaks if you want to explore further, though parking can be tough when driving." - Matthew Kepnes

Food was amazing, Brianna was amazing and just the definition of a perfect server on the floor, she will be the reason that myself and family return. Good food and great guest service is hard to come by. She has gone above and beyond and we will be makes the 45 min drive worth it

Google
Great place!! Cool atmosphere and the food is also very good. Manager Shawn was tremendous, and server Savannah was wonderful. Their breaded wings are big and paired with the hot honey sauce is spectacular. And of course the servers are gorgeous which doesn’t hurt

Google
Tried it for the first time. The birria tacos and chips were delicious. Bathrooms needed some love, but clean overall. Mirisa was an AMAZING server! Friendly and made great food/drink suggestions.

As I travel, I frequent Twin Peaks as it seems my company chooses hotels near Twin Peaks which honestly is great!! However, walked down that way for dinner and was disappointed on a few different levels. 1) They did away with the Spicy Meatball Sandwich… which was a sandwich that kicked the ass if anyone else who tried to make anything like it. I was craving one, walked down for one… not on the menu. 2) With number 1 as having to find a new “go to”, I chose the Philly cheese steak (as pictured). It was ok… not great, but not terrible. Flavors were alright, but probably bias toward the loss of a beloved sandwich. Fries came out cold, and by the time the waitress came back I’d pretty much been done with the sandwich so didn’t bother getting fresher fries. No harm no foul. All in all, still enjoy my time at the nationwide restaurants… but knowing the lack of 1 menu item… may lessen the want to visit. (Completely a preference opinion, not everyone likes certain things and that’s ok… this was just my one thing I loved here.)

Google
What's not to like, good food served by hot chicks in skimpy outfits. The decorations are sweet as well. Antler chandeliers, freshly hewn chairs and tables, taxidermy on the walls and several National Park related mementos. Don't forgot the ice cold beer served at 29 degrees.

Loved everything about this place. I’ve been wanting to try it since they opened and finally made it. The service was great and the food was amazing. 10/10 recommend. We’ll definitely be back!

Google
I had such A great experience at Twin Peaks Pittsburgh. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was fun, lively, and welcoming. The food came out, hot fresh and full of flavor. Exactly what you want when you go out for a casual night. What really made our visit special though, was our server Aubrey. She was absolutely amazing – friendly, attentive, and on top of everything the whole time she made sure our drinks were never empty, checked in at just the right moments, and had such a warm, upbeat personality that made us feel like valued guest instead of just another table. It’s rare to find service that good, and Aubrey really stood. If you’re headed to Twin Peaks, definitely ask for Aubrey she’ll make your night even better. Between the great food, cold drinks, and top-notch service. I’ll absolutely be coming back.

James G.

Google
Our server Aubrey was extremely attentive. Did an amazing job of explaining the menus for both food and drink. And most importantly our drinks were never below half full when she would come around and ask if we wanted a refill. So in my opinion she did an amazing job today. When my food came out, it was plated like I was in a fancy high priced restaurant. And it tasted amazing. The restaurant was spotlessly clean. And the atmosphere was good. Will be back again.

Yelp
Really enjoyed my dinner at Twin Peaks. Food was terrific. Had chips/salsa and chicken tender/shrimp combo. Alex waited on my table. She was tremendous. Truly, the best server I've had in a long time. Very kind, helpful and personable. I'll definitely return next time I'm in Pittsburgh.

Yelp
Alex at Twin Peaks Robinson is an absolute legend. I've been in a few times and somehow end up in her section (lucky me). She's working doubles like a champ, cowboy hat tilted just right, feet probably killing her, but you'd never know it because she's got this effortless smile and banter that makes the whole place feel warmer. She's dangerously good at reading the table (calls your bluff with a grin, keeps the BS flowing just enough to make you laugh at yourself, then somehow remembers every little thing you said last time you were in). It's distracting in the best way; she's stunning, genuine, and has this way of making you feel like you're the only table in the room even when it's slammed. Honestly, she's so good at her job it's unfair. Heart does somersaults every time she swings by with that "hey, trouble" energy. Food's great, beer's cold, but Alex is the real reason I keep coming back. 11/10, feet probably hate her, but the rest of us are obsessed. Tip her heavy; she's earning every penny and then some.

Yelp
We went here and it was my first time. I'm not sure why or how I avoided the beauty of this establishment. The occasion was my Fatgers 78th birthday and the entire evening was amazing. From Savannah *with fake name tag* stating a different name our server to the delicious food and Modela draft on special. The smells *wink wink* and eye candy were a perfect sizzler for the Ole man. Lol.. i had a chipotle chicken over taters and man it was terrific. I'll definitely be back for more smells. Lol

Rory F.

Yelp
Super Clean! The smoked chicken quesadilla was really good. Every sports game was on and Jaide and Delanie was a great bartender!

Stanton L.

Yelp
Food is trash- wrong order Pizza burnt Service very good but unit was very slow. And now I know why- pizza burnt, green beans didn't have a flavor - cold beer tho- So if you want cold beer and horrible food go there- Atmosphere ok clean

Yelp
We came here with my FIL, MIL, and my Hubby for the first time ever. My hubby and I have been to this establishment but in Vegas. Loved it there and ABSOLUTELY loved it here. Ella was our waitress and she was an absolute delight! Friendly, funny but above all, very attentive to the many tables she had, including ours. And we were there for almost 5 hours and we were taken well care of. As a waitress for over a decade throughout my life (I told her for being a waitress at her age with that type of service) that it was extremely impressive. Food was delicious, memories were made. 12/10 in my book!

Yelp
The food was good and the wings were so hot. I'd definitely come back and try it again. The service was good as well.

Yelp
I never heard of Twin Peaks and didn't check it on Yelp. My friends and I were staying in the Hilton Garden very close to the restaurant, and I passed it a few times earlier in the day. I picked up my friend at the airport on Friday night and suggested we eat here since it was close. We walked in, and I noticed the outdoor theme with stuffed animal heads on the wall and antler light fixtures. Then I saw a sign on the wall that said no pictures allowed. WHAT? How could I help out the Yelp community with no pictures? And then I saw a waitress dressed in lingerie and thought, where did I bring my friends lol? I would compare it to Hooters, but on Friday, lingerie night, be prepared to see a whole lot of bootie lol. We were seated right away. I couldn't help but notice most of the patrons were men. Our server was friendly and helpful. I ordered smoked and grilled wings with the cajun rub and a side of asparagus. The wings were fried hard and pretty tasty. The asparagus was ok, but lacked seasoning. Honestly, I would probably not eat here again. Not because I didn't like the food but because it made me feel uncomfortable.

Yelp
This was our first time trying this place out. The decor inside definitely gives the mountains vibe with the decor and all. The place is huge with a giant bar with TVs going all the way around. This is a great place to watch all your sporting events. The girls outfits are a take on the old Tilted Kilt vibe. Instead of the little skirts, they have shorts. I didn't know that was still a concept restaurants went for with uniforms anymore. We had the triple play which was a dip and chip sampler and was very good. The roasted tomato salsa was delicious. For our entrees we got the buffalo chicken salad and the avocado smash burger. They were decent. The highlight is they advertise their beer to be at 29 degrees. The draft came out with the perfect chill. The location where they are has not been successful for other businesses so hopefully they get a fair chance and hang around for awhile.
google avatar

Yelp
Food was very good! Unfortunately the service was lackluster. Maybe our server was just having a bad day but she almost never came around to check on us, our apps were cold by the time we got them, and we felt like a bother anytime we asked her for anything. That was a bit of a bummer but overall the vibe was nice and I liked that it had a lot of TVs and could watch a variety of different sports and games. I would go back and just hope the service part was just a one off.

Deborah O.

Yelp
We had dinner here for my birthday our server was Ella and she was amazing. Took care of us like we were family, if our drinks were running low she'd ask us if we wanted her to put in a refill since it busy and drinks were backed up. Best and most friendly person we've had wait on us. Se was a jewel!

Yelp
Another mediocre experience. Poor service with bartenders more focused on gossip, drama, and cell phones than the customers. Twin peaks was also negligent on this trip. Bud Light bottles??? Sorry we are out. Whiskey balls? Sorry we are out. Only generic ice. Bourbon bar??? Sorry we are out. Not open this Friday... WHICH IS EXPLICITLY DESIGNATED AS OPEN WEEKENDS. Why does anyone come here anymore? It's embarrassing
google avatar

Eugene C.

Yelp
Ok. Food first. Very good. Smoked wings were excellent. The half of dish of ranch was disappointing. I asked if they could add more to it. She said yes for a small up-charge. Wait..so you only give half a ranch but you can pay for more?? BLT lobster roll epic. It was awesome. Beers are 7.50 each. They brag about the 29 degree beer, but after the ice melts off the top you have a glass of 3/4 full watered down beer. So at the end you pay $7.50 for about 3/4 of a beer. Norm for the establishment. Next. Service. Not great. Two bartenders. Both with so much make up they could be in a circus. Trying REALLY hard to flirt with the regulars. Even coming around sitting at the bar sharing pictures on their phone while other customers wait. They definitely know how to work a crowd...service to the other customers is second to flirting with the regulars. It's like they try to hard to be attractive. You get your "what can I get ya babe" and "thank you hon". Trying way too hard. If you like golf or soccer you're in luck. I asked for baseball game on one of the TVs and apparently it takes an act of god. Like they have to go get someone to work the remote. Thursday night football comes on and they put it in one TV. Some international soccer thing on the other. Golf on 2 others. It's about the atmosphere here. I would go back for the lobster roll for sure. 2 stars for service 4 for food.

Yelp
This was an awesome experience.I missed my flight out of Pittsburgh international twice this weekend. The hotel next door happened to be right here. The girls dress like Hooters but very accommodating when you're stuck. I just thought that they took it to a whole another level to really appreciate your situation and try to make you at home while you are away from home. I just wanted to get some food and go back to my hotel room to sleep but they made sure I had a bit of food before I went back to fall asleep with my early morning flight out of Pittsburgh. If you ever miss home, this is a great place to hang before you get to go there. Everyone here is so great to make you feel great before you treck home! This place is an Oasis for the homesick

Yelp
Women not respected. Waitresses walking around almost nude. I witnessed one scratch her bare behind then make a drink. Um no thanks.
google avatar

Isabella S.

Yelp
The food is always good and I like how they are super customizable. The servers are always super nice and I'm a good mood when we go in. The downside is everything seems to take a long time to get to the table. We've been there when every table was filled and when only a few people were there eating. Every time without fail the beer and food takes 20-30 minutes. There have been times where I ordered my beer and I wouldn't get it until my food was dropped off. I'm not sure if it was server or bartender error but I did have to remind the server. The ambiance is just a regular sports bar type vibe. Beer is always cold and I like that the servers aren't trying to rush you out of the table. My friends and I have sat for hours just drinking and talking which was fun. I definitely recommend going for any ufc fights or games because it gets fun and rowdy!
google avatar

Madison S.

Yelp
Eff them. Rude to their workers. No thanks. Expected more respect when having to be dressed that way.

Yelp
I wouldn't have even realized Twin Peaks used to be a TGI Friday's. The location in Robinson is about all they share. The theme is now rustic lodge with a modern flair. Not bad. A lot of the seating is high, which was surprising, but there were some low tables. They have axes on the long tables. I'm assuming to split parties. It was big crowded when we were there. The service was friendly, tho not the fastest and it seemed clear our waitress was new. It's like Hooters with a rustic theme. A big closer to the color of Tilted Kilt. Sadly, unlike the Tilted Kilt, there are only scantily clad women - no men. The food was decent. Nothing special, but about as good as your average bar. The beer & ciders are served in frosted glasses, which was definitely nice. Even at the end of our 22 ounce drinks, they were still cold. They also look really cool for a while. Hopefully, it'll improve as time goes on - I think they're pretty new.

Stephen S.

Yelp
It was fantastic! The pot roast was especially good. Very friendly and very nice service. It was everything that we wish the Toledo store would be. The Toledo store could start with a new manager. The man is very defensive about his lack of service. But not this one it was amazing.!! thank you
google avatar

Yelp
I was very impressed with the overall service, food, cleanliness of this new location in Pittsburgh! Twin Peaks is a cabin/lodge style sports bar located in Robinson township right the mall! It recently opened and we went for an early dinner this evening and it was packed. They had a ton of waitresses and fast, efficient service. Our waitress Maggie was on point! She was friendly and again, quick! We ordered the mozzarella bites - some of the best! deep fried with seasoning and the right amount of crunch with ranch and marinara dipping sauce. I had the Crispy Buffalo Chicken Salad and it was so so good. It wasn't a heaping amount of salad either which was a nice change. Alex had the Texas Style Cheese Steak - spicy, filling and cooked perfectly on a toasted hoagie roll. I had the signature 22 oz DIRTY BLONDE beer which is only brewed for Twin Peaks! It tasted just like a blue moon - but honestly better! Served in a chiller, frosted mug and very refreshing! I'd def recommend this place for any person, any occasion! Kudos to the grand opening and excellent service!

Yelp
This place is located at the old TGIF in Robinson Township Pa! Anyone that likes Hooters or Tilted Kilt for the scenery...will like it hear! The place is huge and very clean! They have three of their own brews and my favorite was the knotty brunette! Our waitress was very attentive and was ask by many others if we needed anything! We got 6 smoked and grilled Nashville hot wings and they were delicious! I had the meatball appetizer for my dinner, they were good but would not get again. Just to heavy on the basil for me! The Hubby had the Billionaire burger. He liked it but it was very messy! Overall we will return to try a few different things on the menu!

Yelp
Ordered 12 inch deluxe pizza and 6 wings. Pizza was edible and better than Fox's but a bit doughy for my taste. The wings were disappointing mostly because I was given only flats and I prefer drums.

Matt P.

Yelp
Got the hickory smoked and grilled wings. I liked them. The service was friendly and as adequate as you would expect anywhere. Food came out in a reasonable time. Bathrooms were super nice and clean. Overall the place does a good job for its intended purpose.
google avatar

Yelp
I know lots of people go for the scenery but I really enjoy the food. Great variety and tasty.

Yelp
This place is absolutely horrible. It's like being in a business with zero adult supervision and rude, disinterested girls running the whole operation. My first experience when I entered was a girl at the reception desk with her back turned to me while she chatted with another girl. After a minute I finally said excuse me and she turned and just stared at me like "what do you want?" After about 10 seconds of this awkward staredown she asked how she could help. Bartenders are rude and inattentive. Servers do not write anything down and made multiple mistakes with our orders. One item took a full hour to arrive and was wrong. Server said she would replace it and then got agitated when we said we were leaving and no longer wanted the item. Server was again agitated when we asked for our bills to be split based on what each person in our party actually ordered. The best they offered to do for us was split the bill across all people in our party for an equal amount. First thing we asked for when we got seated was separate checks. We were told they would split things up when we were finished. This was a lie. We couldn't watch the sporting event we requested because "ummm there's literally only one person who knows how to change the channels and he's not working today." You couldn't pay me enough to go back to this place. I would suggest management should give these girls some training in customer service but honestly I think it's clear those aren't the qualities they're looking for when they hire. Avoid this place.
google avatar

Natalie B.

Yelp
I would give this a 3.5 if possible. The location looks amazing, I love the decor. Our waitress Delanie was awesome. The food was decent but good gracious did it take forever to come. Like I've never waited so long for an appetizer in my life. They forgot my boyfriends soup too. I dislike QR menus but I'm trying to get over it so I didn't dock anything for that lol. We also really wanted to try the Old Smokey's Spicy Watermelon...turns out they don't have it. And not just that night but any night. So that was a disappointment. All in all, it has potential to be a really great place. I think they're just working out some kinks for now!
google avatar

Don R.

Yelp
The menu has some unique items. The food was great . The service was fast and accurate. The facility was clean. I do suggest a visit to their website to get a better understanding of the experience, as some may not enjoy it as much.

Yelp
Okay ladies, this place is definitely worth a visit. Although the waitresses are dressed like the old Hooters style and wearing long false eyelashes, they have hearts of gold and really cater to your every need. Sitting in the spot where the old TGI Friday's used to be Twin Peaks has an adventure like theme extremely rugged almost like a lodge but very trendy. Your menu is scanned from the table but if you are the old fashioned type then you can order from a paper one. Most of the offerings are ala carte so I decided to try a lunch pairing for my first visit here. I ordered the brisket chili and paired it with the avocado chicken sandwich along with sweet potato fries. I must say it took some time to get my food. The brisket chili was definitely worth the wait. It was a little on the cold side so my waitress brought me another one. The sandwich was you typical sliced deli chicken sandwich with toppings-nothing to write home about. The sweet potato fries were very good. I noticed on the menu everything is made from scratch. Needless to say I got there 30 minutes after it opened and needless to say it was packed by the time I left. They have a full bar along with happy hour specials. Most of the food is seasoned well. Portion sizes I noticed are generous. I had about 4-5 different waitresses stop by and cater to my needs and answer any questions I have. Looking forward to trying one of their homecooked dinners on a future visit. Located near the mall of Robinson, they have their own parking lot.
google avatar

Gretchen U.

Yelp
I don't recall the last time I had a Dos XX on tap, but I'll thank TWIN PEAKS for my 10 oz. or 22 oz. Ice cold beverage to the 29° of perfection. The brisket tacos, cute and satisfying. The company at the bar 10/10. Found this Twin Peaks gem after my IKEA errands. Thank you, ladies!!
google avatar

Onur K.

Yelp
Horrible service. Servers flirting with customers. Give their number forget to take their tables orders. I was waiting almost 30 mins for my second beer. She said she forgot the put it. Because she was flirting other table gave her number. That's ridiculous. I thought I was in the sports bar not strip club

Brandi S.

Yelp
I can't believe that a business would encourage such an inappropriate dress code. I wanted to leave the moment that I arrived, but I was not alone.
google avatar

Earle D.

Yelp
Terrible experience. I go here all the time to relax with my friends and this experience was anything but relaxing. We got a new waitress, which wasn't necessarily the issue, but she was not friendly the whole time. At the end of the meal, she took our money and when I told her that she could keep the change as a tip, she offered to "add to the experience out in the parking lot." When I declined this offer, she called me a racial slur.
google avatar

Pete J.

Yelp
I was hesitant to visit, as it's a gimmicky chain. But a work group picked it for a Friday dinner. I walked in to find it was lingerie night, total surprise, I swear. I was quickly seated and waited for the rest to arrive. I was quickly greeted and ordered a drink. When reading reviews, some folks complained about the service, but I found it to be decent. My group arrived they were all waited on quickly. We ordered apps and they came quickly and were good. It's typical sports bar fare, as far as the apps go. I ordered the Lent special of fish, chips and beer for $12.99. The fish consisted of four very small pieces, not at all what was pictured. But the fish was good and the fries had a nice seasoning on them. Great deal. One of the folks got tacos and enjoyed them. Then another got a flatbread and liked that. The others got wings and loved them. I was pleasantly surprised. The food was decent and the prices were reasonable. I really didn't expect much but was surprised.

T D.

Yelp
The more we go here, the more "meh" it becomes. The food is just ok, and the waitstaff is generally bored and uninterested in service. They disappear for long stretches. On several visits weeks apart, the diet coke from the bar has been terrible. After bringing it to the attention of the waitress, and getting push back from them, they get another one from a different fountain and it's fine. Apparently no one bothers to look into it. We no longer eat here, but go after dinner only because it's one of a few places that stays open after 9 in Robinson since Covid.
google avatar

David K.

Yelp
Beer is very good esp the dirty blonde. Service is perfect. Great place to watch the game!

Nicholas M.

Yelp
$3.99 for 23 0z draft (you have 3 choice beers to choose from). And this is for Wednesday only. Bartenders are always awesome to chat with and look at. Always a pleasant atmosphere when I come. Still decent prices and my dinner was great. Asparagus could have been warmer. They were room temperature. Blackened rainbow trout with grilled asparagus and lemon, garlic pilaf.

Nick C.

Yelp
Had the 12 smoked and grilled wing appetizer Cajun spiced. Very good! 2 Main courses were fish and chips. Also a side of macaroni . The Mac was a disappointment. Cheese was overpowering salty and not enough noodles. Maybe just a bad batch. Beers are so cold they are slushy ! Awesome! Had 4 large beers , 2dinners and the 12 wing appetizer was 98 bucks before tip. Nice place, good service. Good food . Will be back.

Judith D.

Yelp
This is a slightly revised "Hooters." The food is just acceptable, the staff all female and marginally dressed. If you enjoy seeing young women objectified and like to talk over many loud TV's, while you eat an overpriced hamburger, this is your kind of place.

John H.

Yelp
Waited 40 minutes for my order. When I asked the waitress where my food was, she checked and said the kitchen staff made the food but forgot to tell the waitress it was ready. Sunday late, not busy. Fries were cold. Beer was cold was the only good thing. The Manager sat behind us and ate her dinner while mine died in the window!
google avatar

Ben G.

Yelp
The food and service here is priceless. There are 30 tvs with just about every game on. It's a great atmosphere too, there is always a server or bar tender to help you out with anything you need.
google avatar

Byron E.

Yelp
I wanted to post this quick review, but it is more a shout-out to the bar back named Tommy. 2 friends and I sat at the bar for 2 hours but were amazed at how much work Tommy did in the last hour that we were there. I'm pretty sure he was supposed to be done with his shift, but he kept working to make sure the ladies working the bar were taken care of. From 4:30pm until we left at 5:45pm, there was another bar back who did nothing while Tommy busted his butt! Kudos to Tommy for doing what he could to make things a little easier for the ladies working the bar
google avatar

Rob K.

Yelp
It is what it is...A friend and I visited Twin Peaks towards the end of Happy Hour on a Friday. I was promptly seated and within five minutes a waitress came over and got my drink order. All day Friday are $5.00 Sam Adams 22 ounce drafts which is the best deal they have. My friend ordered wings and fries. I had mom's pot roast which was our waitresses recommendation. My friend said he enjoyed his wings. Pot roast was good but the portion was small. Food quality on par with an Applebees/Fridays. Overall the food is basic, the beer is extremely cold, but you are here for the wait staff. It isn't cheap and while our waitress was extremely attentive, I'm in no hurry to return.
google avatar

Melanie G.

Yelp
Good beer. Nice app selection. Average food. I'd visit again but not super high on my list. And I'm positive that I'm not their target audience.
google avatar

Terrence T.

Yelp
We visited this on midday during the week the bar was packed but relatively quiet. My sandwich was fine. But my spouse ordered the kielbasa sandwich which she couldn't eat! The kielbasa was very small and void of any taste! But worse, the bread was cold. We actually thought that it was frozen and only briefly warmed prior to serving. It was cold to the touch! We will not be back!
google avatar

Lisa D.

Yelp
Terrible service but at least the beer is cold! We tried this place two times and both times the service was lackluster.. food just okay!
google avatar

Cr I.

Yelp
Great service and amazing food, chill atmosphere as well. Emilie was wonderful serving us at this location great people!

Cindy L.

Yelp
Less than Average. First time trying this place for a birthday. Big mistake. Too loud for any conversation. No real menu. You have to use the Qreader, which didn't work. The waitress didn't know if they had paper menus but she could go ask. She also couldn't tell us what was in their "famous signature drinks", or several items on the menu. Food was less than average for the price. Had to grab other waitresses for simple follow up service(dressing for Cobb salad, ketchup for fries&onion rings. Come on...turn the volume down, train the Staff, and make some real food. D+

Yelp
We stopped in for a quick working lunch. The place was busy but had plenty of open tables. The atmosphere is nice with an outdoors mountain type cabin theme. Pictures of some National Parks in Alaska and lots of TV's. The temperature of the beers is suppose to be 29 degrees and there is a temperature gauge that discloses the true temperature. The waitress's were very nice and did a really good job checking on us and with refills. Our food came out in a short time. Ordered the Chicken Street Corn Salad and it was very good. Nice flavors and a little heat from the jalapeño, tasty bacon and the chicken was tender and good. Just wish it had a little more corn.
google avatar

Chelsey C.

Yelp
15 mins and not even an acknowledgment from any waitstaff or managers. Place wasn't even busy. Won't be recommending this to anyone and won't be trying again.
