Coffee is fantastic and I would go back just for a latte.
The food however was disappointing. We got the breakfast bowl and an avocado toast, and both were topped with such a heavy garnish of furikake (seaweed flakes, sugar, salt, and other spices) that it was hard to taste anything else. This gave everything a fishy taste and it was also oversalty. It made the food inedible for us, and we’re not usually picky eaters. I would recommend a much lighter touch with it on the bowl, and omitting it entirely for the avocado toast as it made for a very odd pairing.
The service was generally good, but the food also took a little longer to arrive than would be expected, especially given how quickly the coffees came. Also one of the lattes was made with sugar free syrup instead of the regular vanilla that was ordered. But other than that the service was friendly, helpful, and prompt.
The atmosphere is cool, with beautiful art and a stunning bar and comfy couches and tables.
