I think the food is good. Nothing phenomenal but consistent. They seemed to be out of a few things but could be due to the holidays. The coffee drinks I had were well made and well balanced. I think the menu could be expanded as it was rather limited. The staff was super sweet

The food was delicious! The breakfast bowl was flavorful and a great boost or energy to start the day. And the lavender matcha latte was one of the best I’ve ever had! Such a cute ambience as well. I wish I could transport this place to my hometown

I ordered the salmon grain bowl through DoorDash and was shocked to find the salmon completely raw (see photo). I’ve had this dish before—both in person and online—so I know exactly how it’s supposed to be. This wasn’t undercooked—it was uncooked. When I called the cafe, they dismissed my concern by saying it’s “cooked, just not as I expected.” That’s simply false. The texture, color, and temperature all clearly show it was raw. Serving raw fish without warning or proper handling is a major health risk. This kind of disregard for food safety and customer experience is unacceptable. I won’t be ordering from Twinflower again unless their standards and accountability improve.

The atmosphere strikes the perfect balance between cozy and luxurious. It feels special while still being welcoming and comfortable. The staff are always warm and welcoming. Their homemade syrups for drinks are a lovely treat and the menu has a great variety of healthy yet delicious options. I especially appreciate that they offer both gluten-free and dairy free choices, like the rose cardamom chai, which has become a new favorite. The pumpkin pie cold brew made with their house made pumpkin syrup and cold foam is another standout. It’s the perfect spot to get some work done while still feeling nice and relaxed. Whether you’re stopping in for coffee or a full meal, Twinflower Cafe is a gem worth visiting

I really wanted to LOVE this place. It looked beautiful online and the food looks so delicious. Unfortunately, I did not feel it met my expectations. The space was quite smaller than imagined and the food did not live to its expectations. The avocado toast was good but the chicken banh mi was not very enjoyable. The bread on the sandwich was very tough, not quite stale but hard to bite into. It was also smaller than expected, they are usually served on a baguette. The coffee was also just ok. It was all just ok. I was expecting to be blown away. If you are a guest at the hotel it’s perfectly fine but I wouldn’t go out of your way to come. Four stars because the staff is very friendly.

Ordered a blueberry matcha and chicken rice bowl. Both were highly disappointing. Blueberry matcha tasted like an icy glass of milk. The bowl was unevenly cooked, with some bites cold with hard rice grains, while others burned our mouths.

Coffee is fantastic and I would go back just for a latte. The food however was disappointing. We got the breakfast bowl and an avocado toast, and both were topped with such a heavy garnish of furikake (seaweed flakes, sugar, salt, and other spices) that it was hard to taste anything else. This gave everything a fishy taste and it was also oversalty. It made the food inedible for us, and we’re not usually picky eaters. I would recommend a much lighter touch with it on the bowl, and omitting it entirely for the avocado toast as it made for a very odd pairing. The service was generally good, but the food also took a little longer to arrive than would be expected, especially given how quickly the coffees came. Also one of the lattes was made with sugar free syrup instead of the regular vanilla that was ordered. But other than that the service was friendly, helpful, and prompt. The atmosphere is cool, with beautiful art and a stunning bar and comfy couches and tables.

Very cute seemingly unknown spot. Coffee was delicious, from local Burundi Roasters. Breakfast bowl was so good I wanted another one immediately. Great spot. My only qualm is that there isn't a ton of tables for more than 2 to actually eat at. But otherwise atmosphere and decor is lovely.

Yelp
This is a small but very pretty coffee shop that is connected to a spa/hotel I believe. I did not get to try any of their food but their Iced latte was pretty good:). The staff here were nice as well. Found this place as we were just walking along on the street it is on.

Yelp
Really nice hotel lobby cafe on Congress street in Portland. The ambience is lovely and the food is great, I ordered a chicken and rice bowl which was 100% The only reason for four stars instead of five, is parking is hard to find and there were somewhat limited food options, although what they had was quite delicious and also GREAT COFFEE!

Yelp
dropped by on a friday morning and it wasn't busy. this cafe is connected to a hotel and there were some pastries on display with no indoor seating. their other seasonal flavor was a blueberry matcha - iced brown sugar shaken espresso (4/5): brown sugar flavor was strong but not overly sweet and the coffee was not bad - tried a bit of my friends maple vanilla latte and it was pretty good. the maple flavor was fairly light but i liked how there were vanilla beans in the drink overall, decent coffee and pricing. they don't have too many specialty drinks but would go back to try their seasonal items!

Yelp
My first experience. I ordered delivery. I was blown away with the quality and FLAVORS of the items I ordered. The photo is half of the turkey sandwich. Exquisite blend of flavors with each bite. This sandwich is not meant to be hastily devoured. I do not know if that is a possibility. At first bite I tasted all of the layers of blended ingredients. To be enjoyed. It's soooooo delicious.
