The Finger Lakes Is the Ultimate Cheese Travel Destination

"A hillside brewery with outdoor picnic seating and lake views that specializes in approachable IPAs (the New England-style is a popular choice) and serves hearty bar food, including a highly recommended roast beef sandwich made with slow-cooked beef from a nearby farm." - Regan Stephens

Google
Delightful little place with a huge patio with truly spectacular views of Seneca Lake. We are not beer drinkers, but we had the delicious roast beef sandwich (very limited menu), a glass of the local cab franc, and a glass of the local dry sparkling wine, and all were delicious. We enjoyed them while watching the sunset. The best views we've seen of the lake!

Keith W.

Google
This place has amazing views of the lake. I for and outdoor seating options. Super friendly staff. Beer was excellent. As was the Beef on a Weck sandwich and humus. Highly recommend

Google
Our jaws dropped when we pulled up to this place— the view is incredible and the vibes are high! We were even more pleased once we tried the beer & savored every sip. It’s so hard to choose which businesses to visit in an area where there are so many breweries/wineries, but Two Goats is a no-brainer, especially if you like the feeling of a cozy hole-in-the-wall type of place with a funky-yet-cozy twist.

Google
Super cute place with delicious beer! Highly recommend you get them to tack a dollar bill to the ceiling or wall! A lot of yummy options that should please everyone in your group! I had the mix of stout/cream (aka Headbutt) and my husband had the Hazy IPA (Golden Crush)...great views too!

Peter D.

Google
Sat inside at the bar, got a flight, and some free, fresh popcorn. Good vibes at this place, and those roast beef sandwiches coming out of the kitchen looked delish. Their flight had a wheat, a blonde, a red, and a brown. Red Beard, the Red Ale, was the one worth getting a full-pint pour after the flight taster. To perfect the visit, come before sunset to watch it set under the lake, get one of those beef on wick sandwiches and a couple pints of Red Beard, and you'll be sitting pretty.

Google
We were riding our motorcycles from Ithaca to Watkins Glen. Staff at the Harley-Davidson shop recommended we stop at Two Goats Brewing. I am so glad we did!! The view is absolutely spectacular! The beer selection is excellent. They have a very limited selection of food, but the free popcorn was a really nice touch. And The service is very friendly. I will definitely be back!

Paul G.

Google
Two Goats is a great little brewery! Don't expect a expansive food menu, but try a Beef on Weck with your beer. Free popcorn! Great live music acts, and a beautiful view of Seneca Lake!

Jody B.

Google
This is my OPINION and should be taken as such... We stopped in and had a couple flights. Great views, good beer, vibe was awesome. We left em a couple of our goats. I would return

Yelp
Brewery with a view!! They had live music when we visited (Thursday night). We sat outside with beer, cider and wine and enjoyed the view. They have a very limited menu (roast beef sandwich, bowl of chips and hummus bowl). The bartender was fantastic! We'd definitely visit again when in the area.

Yelp
It's been a while since we last visited Two Goats, and it reminded me of a spot closer to home--one that would easily become a regular hangout. We had the chance to try some great beers, and one unique experience stood out: mixing two beers together, a concept similar to a blend in the wine world. As the bartender put it, "It's a game we like to play." On tap, they had a solid lineup: 1. Hector Logger - A traditional lager (4.9% ABV) 2. Goatmaster Kölsch - A crisp Kölsch (5.1% ABV), which I tried and really enjoyed 3. RedBeard - A Red Ale (5% ABV), a reliable go-to beer 4. Cream Ale - A bit different at 6.7% ABV, more robust than the typical lower-ABV versions 5. Golden Crush - A hazy IPA (5.1% ABV) that had nice fruit-forward notes, but not overpowering 6. X IPA - An Imperial IPA (7.8% ABV) Mosaic! Mosaic! - A Pale Ale (5.2% ABV) that followed the traditional pale ale profile and was very enjoyable 7. Goatmeal Stout - An Oatmeal Stout (8.1% ABV) Then came the blends--something I hadn't seen much of before. The only one I tried was 1. Goat Juice, a 50/50 mix of Hazy IPA and Kölsch (5.1% ABV). It was bursting with amazing flavors, the best of both worlds. Some of their other blends included: 2. Red X - A mix of Red Ale and Imperial IPA 3. Goatgasm - A Kölsch and IPA blend 4. Headbutt - A Stout and Cream Ale combo I tend to gravitate toward Hazies, Kölsches, and Pale Ales, so this place hit all the right notes for me. I can't wait to come back and see what new creations they have on tap next time!

Yelp
Stayed in Watkins Glen for the weekend for a race! A post-race beer tour was necessary. Grabbed a drink at Two Goats and sat outside. Incredible view of the lake and the beer was amazing.
google avatar

Taylor L.

Yelp
Decent beers but a small menu. Some food available onsite. There is good indoor and outdoor space and beautiful views of the lake

Yelp
Amazing views and fun beers! Two Goats was super close to our airbnb so we stopped by for a pre-dinner drink. We were there just prior to sunset (golden hour, you know), so it was relatively crowded. Plus, it was a gorgeous day and there was a live band, so not surprising at the folks there! Luckily, my husband and I snagged seats together to enjoy our brews. Their options are vast enough but not too many to make you feel overwhelmed. My husband went for a flight, which he enjoyed. Their flights are pre-fixed and appealed to his tastes but not mine, so I just went for a single pour. Two Goats offers blended beers (just 2 types mixed together), which is unique. I went for the Goat Juice, a blend of their hazy IPA and kolsch. I appreciated how the lighter kolsch cut the heaviness of the IPA, making for an overall refreshing and drinkable beer. We didn't eat anything during our visit, but we appreciated the fresh popcorn that was up for grabs! I'm so glad we went when we did so we could enjoy the lovely view of the sunset reflecting on the lake. Highly recommend Two Goats for a fun blended beer and beautiful views of Seneca!

Yelp
We are so excited that my husband and I drove down the road, and we saw where Two Goats Brewing was. Once we saw it, we had to go their and check it out. Wow, this spot was definitely a hidden gem . It was also extremely packed as well . We loved in how the beer was set at a good price, and it was really good beer. The only thing is I wish they had more of a selection for food wise. Maybe it's something they need to think about expanding. The band that they had playing there was great as well. Overall, this place was amazing, and I would definitely come back here and enjoy an amazing view of looking at the vineyards.

Yelp
Really nice experience at Two Goats! We were looking for a place for a light, informal dinner open later on a Tuesday and this was just the spot we needed. Their menu is not very extensive in terms of food but their beef sandwiches with chips and pickles hit the spot, washed down with some great beer. I had the Goatgasm because omg the name and it was tasty- it's a mix of the IPA and a lighter beer which was just perfect. We enjoyed our beer and meal on their patio with a nice view of the sunset. Bartender was excellent making recommendations and offering samples. My bf and friend did flights. Lots of kitschy decor and free popcorn!

Brad F.

Yelp
The most beautiful views of Seneca Lake. Beers are also outstanding. We go here every trip up and it never disappoints. It can get crowded in weather is not ideal but there is plenty of outdoor spots to hang on the deck. Dog friendly inside and outside!
google avatar

Mark B.

Yelp
This brewery deserves all the 5-star reviews... Great beers, awesome deck with great views. One of our favorites in the area.

Debbie B.

Yelp
Stopped in on a rainy day. A cute place. The service was great and we listened to some great music. We didn't eat but other people were raving about their sandwich.
google avatar

Rick R.

Yelp
Great views and vibes. Bring your dog. Snappy, friendly service. Menu limited to a hot roast beef sandwich.
google avatar

Debi W.

Yelp
Great experience all around. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. The beef on a weck was better than I remembered. I had the Chardonnay that was perfect on a hot summer day. My husband had a red ale that was great with the beef. The view was spectacular. A nice relaxing lunch on our way to the Corning Museum.

Yelp
My wife and I stopped here while we were touring wineries and breweries. I tried some of their IPAs and their Oktoberfest, and she got the seasonal pumpkin ale. We went back two nights later and had more. The beer was very good, and they had a great variety. The service was great, and the venue was really cool with both an indoor and outdoor area. They have an amazing view of Seneca Lake too, and we got to see an awesome sunset. We did not try their food, but they do have a pretty good menu. They've got some pretty cool merch for sale too.
google avatar

Byron M.

Yelp
I am so happy my wife and i drove past this place. Everything was amazing, from the vibe to the views and the beer as well. The bartender was very nice and gave good insight into each beer and great service. They let you sample any beer you want before you make your final selection. I would recommend this brewery to anyone visiting this area
google avatar

Yelp
Excellent beer and what a scenic view of Seneca Lake! This is a must do if you're in the area doing the wineries! Excellent classic rock music and an overall great vibe! So glad we turned in here on a whim!

Jean M.

Yelp
Love the beers, can't beat the view, and the roast beef sandwiches are delicious! The staff is welcoming and very friendly. We stop there every time we are in the Watkins Glen area.
google avatar

Yelp
This was the first place we stopped on our trip to the Finger Lakes. I know what you are thinking, why would you stop at brewery when going to the Finger Lakes? Well it was the first place we came across that had good and we were hungry. My husband and I both got the Goatmaster (the Kolsch). It was sooo good. The menu is limited, 3 things on the menu but that's ok, we were so hungry we didn't care. We ordered the roast beef sandwich with horseradish on the side. The sandwich was delicious. I put the whole scoop of horseradish on the sandwich and took a big bite. WARNING! If you don not like hot do not put the scoop on. My nose and eyes felt like they were on fire! But it was sooooo good. Now about the view. I think this place has one of the best views of the lake. We loved it here so much, we went back the next day.
google avatar

Jeanne G.

Yelp
Beautiful view, excellent roast beef sandwich, refreshing brewski. Bartender was a multi-talker. She did it all!

Dee M.

Yelp
Great selection of beer and service was good. The view is awesome. The food selection was usual pub food.
google avatar

Chris V.

Yelp
As everyone has said, great views, great vibe. It's really cool inside as well as the nice decks outside overlooking the whole lake and lake valley. I tried all the beers and was extremely impressed with the exception of the X-IPA. My favorites were the go easy blonde, Hugh Hefe, brown ale (great), and goatmaster Kolsch. On another level entirely was the Golden Crush New England pale ale. It was absolutely unbelievable. It captured that whole New England IPA flavor in a less hoppy, cloudy, lower alcohol version. One of the best pale ales in that style I have ever had. For food they have roast beef on wick rolls, hummus, and tortilla chips as their options. The beef on Wick was very good @ $12 with chips
google avatar

Siyun Z.

Yelp
One of our favorite stops during our weekend trip to the finger lakes. The brewery has a great view of Seneca lake and there was also live music! We also really enjoyed the beer flight. They also serve wine with generous pour! Great vibes and weather!
google avatar

Victor T.

Yelp
Driving through the Finger Lakes in New York you just want to find a place to have a peaceful drink and relax to some good beer. This is the place for that because, in addition, you get a great view. I had the Cream Ale (for some reason I always like the Cream Ales while in NY). My friend had the Hefeweizen. Both were excellent. The menu is very limited: one sandwich. But they do have popcorn. And I did mention the view?
google avatar

Thomas W.

Yelp
A unique location. (Be sure to look up at the ceiling!!) I enjoy the beers and the view. When you're driving on Rt. 414, you might miss the driveway for Two Goats, but do turnaround. It is worth it!

Ron W.

Yelp
Really nice brewery on the east side of the Seneca Lake. Beer was very good but the real star is the amazing view of the lake from out behind the brewery.
google avatar

Kathryn U.

Yelp
Two Goats has been our FAVORITE for YEARS!!! This little brewery has some awesome brew, fabulous views of Seneca Lake, and the kindest staff on the lake. Two Goats has terrific bands and a great pavilion to listen to the music while drinking Goatgasm or whatever you choose. TWO GOATS FOR THE WIN!!
google avatar

Cynthia C.

Yelp
Lovely view of Seneca Lake, our final stop last trip on the rec of Luke @ScaleHouseBrewery and a beautiful spot on the deck to watch the sun set...
google avatar

Phil G.

Yelp
We didn't eat here but we had a couple drinks. The beer was cold, tasty and reasonably priced. What really made this visit nice was the staff and patrons alike...the atmosphere was super welcoming and we even bought a shirt. Would return...100%

Yelp
Awesome Views and Delicious Brews! The first thing you notice when walking in to the Two Goats is the amazing vibe, where everyone is welcome! It is important to realize that this is not a tasting room and they don't do flights. They are happy to give you a couple samples of their beer, but the best way to enjoy your visit is to get a nice cold Two Goats beer and sit on the deck, which has one of the best views in Seneca Lake. During this visit, our group ordered and then shared several of their beers so we could sample a variety while sitting on their deck enjoying the sunny afternoon. We tasted their X-IPA, Red Beard Red Ale, and the Cream Ale, all of which had a great balanced flavor and drank very easily! The guys behind the counter were great! Very friendly and welcoming like we were regulars; No pretentious attitudes here! My only regret about visiting Two Goats was I had just eaten a big breakfast and I wasn't able to try their delicious looking and amazing smelling Roast Beef on Weck sandwich!! It looked so good, but now I know to plan on getting this sandwich on my next visit! We look forward to returning to Two Goats on our next trip to the Finger Lakes! Keep up the good work guys!

Yelp
Beautiful view, simple menu & great drinks. Our bartender was very friendly & we enjoined the atmosphere

Yelp
This place was recommended by our host at the local Burdett bed and breakfast and it did not disappoint. The view was beautiful especially during sunset and the drinks were spot on. Try the malty beer flight, I loved them all. The food choices are limited but their beef on weck sandwich was delicious. The atmosphere is informal, you order at the bar and grab whatever seat is available. I definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting the finger lakes. FYI - there is an additional fee for paying by credit card.

Josie F.

Yelp
My first time at Two Goats and it was great! Fun vibe, great beer and the Beef on Weck was outstanding!

David V.

Yelp
The beef on wick and the various brews made for a very delightful afternoon. As a beer lover, I highly recommend trying each of there brews! If the weather is warm, the outside view over the lake is very nice. If rain, they have a covered seating area. If cold, stay inside and absorb the views and brews.
google avatar

Michelle T.

Yelp
Beef on weck, what the heck? So...so good! Bun with the salt, love the weck! Beef was good too :) Nice view with outdoor seating. They had their own beers where the bartender was nice to let us try it before buying. Sad part was that they didn't have beer flight but who cares? They have so much business anyways. Live band playing on a Friday night but covered the dart boards :( man I really wanted to play darts. Anyways, I will be back for the weck!
google avatar

Yelp
This place is amazing. Incredible view, excellent beer, great music, and awesome service. Our favorite brewery that we visited while visiting Finger Lakes. Lots of other good breweries, but this was our runaway favorite.
google avatar

Jennifer D.

Yelp
Awesome place!!!! My husband and I took a short weekend trip to the Finger Lakes. We were looking for somewhere to hang out since all of the wineries close by 6pm. This gem was quite a find! There was live music on the patio and an amazing view of the sunset over the lake. They have minimal food, only serving popcorn, hummus and a beef sandwich. We didn't eat here but the sandwich looked delicious! Make a stop here, you won't be disappointed!
google avatar

Kristen H.

Yelp
A gem of a brewery overlooking Seneca lake! Best sunsets around!! We stopped in on a Sunday afternoon and enjoyed fabulous folk music, tasty beer and delicious popcorn!!! The views over the lake were awe inspiring! We will definitely be back!

Cindy B.

Yelp
This place was amazing! Great atmosphere inside and out with great view of Seneca Lake! Great beer!

Autumn M.

Yelp
Loved the view of Seneca here. Friendly staff, good beer and cider, live music on back patio.

Dan M.

Yelp
Bartenders were assholes. Ordered 10 beers and said they couldn't serve 10 unless we stand in the rain. And so I ordered 4 and they said don't serve this guy. They said they were doing me a favor. Bye bye a-hole. Lots of other great breweries and wineries close by. Even if we had 6 or 8 people max, the staff were incredibly rude. We are all working professionals and maintain our politeness regardless of the situation. We hope you can replace your inadequate, incompetent employees or teach them much much better people skills.

Eileen M.

Yelp
My absolute favorite local beer place! Love it here. Friendly staff and good music. If that's not enough, it has THE. BEST. VIEW. You'll want to bucket list a sunset at Two Goats when visiting the area!
google avatar

Eliz S.

Yelp
Go because you love the name; Stay because the beverages and food are great! Craft beer, local wines and beef on weck...that's all they do and they do it well! Order at the bar; the music has a dead-head vibe; Very chill. My husband had a bitter IPA and I had a sparking wine. Service was quick & friendly and the drinks were cold and delish. The sandwiches are made with fresh, organic beef and a creamy sauce, served with pickle & fries and a smidge of horseradish on the side. It was yummy and satisfying! Of course, one of the best parts of this place is the hippie charm inside and the spectacular view of Seneca Lake. But I also loved the tee-shirt selections, so fun...and the chickens on the grounds are really cute too Family friendly and nearby to several other wineries and hiking trails. Lots of outdoor seating with and without rooftop. Parking was easy. I hope to visit again with friends and family this summer at this finger lakes gem!

ann b.

Yelp
Awesome place! Great beer and sandwiches! Bands great too! Love this place! Great new deck! Best sunsets ever!
google avatar

Brian R.

Yelp
Incredible staff, delicious beers in a beautiful, chill location. What's not to love?!
google avatar

Cousin D.

Yelp
Was looking for a casual place for food and had this brewery recommended. The beef on weck was fantastic along with fresh horseradish and sauce. The beer is also very good and view is amazing.
google avatar

Sandy S.

Yelp
The view A+!! It was a beautiful afternoon with a breeze! I might even go back tonight... great tasting of blonde, lugger, peach here (not a lot of peach) and brown. All tasty. You can't go wrong! Yummmmm
google avatar

Drew G.

Yelp
This place is beautiful and has great brews! We sat on the deck and watched the sunset and it was worth every effort. Check this place out! Oh and they have great merch if you are into that kind of thing!
google avatar

Owen R.

Yelp
One of the best views from this brewery. Smaller interior, so it can feel/get cramped. Fortunately an outside area; patio/deck. Finger Lakes is a great area to explore.
google avatar

Eileen H.

Yelp
Due to COVID, no indoor seating was available. They have a very small, but nice deck for seating. Yes, the view of the lake is beautiful, but when visiting Seneca Lake, there are MANY beautiful views. This place was unfortunately very underwhelming for us. The Beef on a Weck sandwich was decent, but nothing I feel I NEED to have on every trip to Seneca.
google avatar

J J.

Yelp
Excellent beer and a jaw-dropping view leave me wanting nothing more! Friendly staff and always some interesting customers to chat with too!!
