We had an enjoyable stay for three nights tent camping at Two Medicine Campground in early August. We had campsite 56 at the far northern end of the campground near one of the comfort stations and water spigots. Quiet and less busy than what we experienced at Avalanche Campground (where we stayed earlier in the week) and at Many Glacier. Since Two Medicine is located in the southeast corner of the park, it took us about 45 min to drive north to the Going-to-the Sun Road (GTTSR) at St Mary and almost 1.5 hours to get to Many Glacier hotel. But that's why we chose this place: for the smaller crowds. The hiking trails and mountain views were just as gorgeous here as in other parts of the park. Nice camp store that was well equipped with camping supplies and groceries. We enjoyed an evening ranger talk led by a Blackfoot tribal member who shared stories of his life and native history and language.

We were in loop A site 1- beautiful! Right across the road from the water. Not much shade in this site and we had a heck of a time putting stakes in the rocky ground. Campground was quiet, perfect place to unplug. Great trails! Hike to upper two medicine lake, it’s amazing! Sheep in campground. Host was very nice. Camped in June.

The national park service has ruined the national park experience with their reservation system. Reservations are mandatory yet campsites remain unoccupied each night because people blanket reserve sites locking everyone else out of the campground. Extremely disappointed with the management of the National Park system.

No showers, wifi, or phone signal, but perhaps the most beautiful scenery in the National Park looking across Two Medicine Lake to Sinopah mountain. Camp store nearby to buy supplies and bear spray!

We reserved a spot online that said it was large enough for two tents but our tents barely fit. There was a square spare lined with wood, presumably for tent space, but aside from that there was another very small area for an even smaller tent. Both tents were very close to the fire pit as well. The views, however, were amazing! We were within walking distance to the lake and could easily see the mountain scenery. We appreciated that the ranger came by each campsite to greet us and answer any questions we had as well. The bathrooms are also pretty great!

Stayed at Two Medicine campground on a few occasions in prior years, however, they just increased the cost per night to camp here by 50% (with no services / improvements appearing to be added in order to compensate / justify the cost increase; which is quite a bold move). Last year (for 2023) it was $20 per night for peak season, now they increased it to $30 per night - so I am going to pass on this one, out of principle.

We stayed here four nights with our friends while visiting Glacier. Made friends with our neighbors and we both commented that the layout and space of one site is not enough room for two tents and two vehicles as stated online. We could barley find a place that was mostly level to set up our tent and our friends were in a camper. There were no hosts until the last night, but rangers were present and would come check the campsite out, making sure all the rules were being followed. The bathrooms were well maintained. Firewood had to be bought at the camp store, which was a drive from the campsite, and there are signs posted asking campers not to use the wood around the campsite, so that would be difficult for anyone arriving late. All in all it was a good campground. We loved the bear grass and the lake.

Campground felt pretty quiet. I think it was mostly booked for the night but some people must have been no shows. #15 is a good spot for hammock camping.

Yelp
This campground is a TREASURE! I spent summers of my life in East Glacier and spent many a day at Two Medicine lake.....but never stayed at campground until this summer. The beauty will take your breath away....rising wolf mountain in your face...but for the first time I was able to see the lake as the sun came up in the morning and as the stars came out in the black of night......nothing like it! We had just purchased a vintage camper in Bozeman and Two Medicine Campground was our first spot with the new/old rig.....what a joy and a treat! Get there early...it fills up fast.

Yelp
Rreally nice and clean campground. There is a picnic table set, and fire pit each site. The lake is in the walking distance. Really pretty. Also camp store nearby, you can get coffee there. It is full by sometimes 9 a.m. and at latest early p.m. in summer.

Yelp
This review is for the campground store. What a wonderful oasis at a more remote part of the park. They serve breakfast and lunch/dinner. Very limited menu, but cooked to order. Super nice staff. We ate breakfast here 3 mornings and had an early dinner one day. They also sell single serve beers for $1.35! We had everything on the breakfast menu, all good. We had the elk sausage en croute (VERY good) , the beef chili, and chicken tenders. The beef chili was ok. The elk sausage I wish I could have had every night (in other parts of the park!!!!). Highly recommend!
