Google
I really enjoyed stopping here for lunch,l! I got the cheeseburger and spicy cheese fries. You could say my review is biased cause I’d been living off of turkey sandwiches and granola bars camping but it was good! I wanted a small diner experience while I was in the area and that’s definitely what this was - I loved the vibes and everyone was kind and friendly and welcoming! I definitely would come back - I really want cinnamon rolls and breakfast next time!

Google
This was an extremely pleasant, unplanned stop. Cecilia and chef Nate were fantastic hosts. This gem has an incredible history (Read about it on back of menu - image provided). Nate's pancakes may have ruined pancakes for me forever! They were probably the best I've ever had (banana chocolate chip). Thanks, again Two Medicines Grill staff - we loved our burgers! ~Bobby

Google
Great place for breakfast. It took a little while to get seated, but the food was good. We had the bagel sandwich, eggs and hashbrowns with bacon and pancakes. The pancakes were delicious and huge.

Google
A neat “hole in the wall” place with several tables and a counter. Breakfast was delicious, generous and hearty. Very basic offerings, but enough to get your day started. Friendly waitress, quick service.

Google
Madeline and Ethan are amazing people. Their food was better than any Denny’s or ihop I’ve ever had. We were working on the laundry facility at the lodge for a weekend and are grateful to have such great food every morning. Thank you Madeline and Ethan from Damian and Omar.

Google
A hidden gem and a comfortable diner. Like the Montana I've known all my life I seek these locations for comfort and inclusion. Not one of the modern styles of architecture now dotting the landscape with its absence of character. This place I hope will always stay the same. Classy with country playing and a friendly staff.

Google
Great little "mom & pop" type grill. Food was great. Nice atmosphere. Our hostess, Jenny, was hustling to take care of everyone. Would definitely eat here again. Place is small, so have some patience.

Lu Gauthier

Google
Well cooked breakfast with great portions sizes and a friendly staff. We'll definitely be back! We went back for lunch this time and it was delicious! They were slammed so there was a wait, but it was so absolutely worth it. 10/10

Yelp
Great food Great staff. Locally owned. Soups are homemade and delicious. Everyone is so courteous. It is the heartbeat of East Glacier Park!!

Mike S.

Yelp
A great little old time small eatery with great breakfasts! Enjoyed a great cheese mushroom omelet and the pancakes are 7" wide (1 is probably meal enough for most people). Run by young women they serve everything in order of tables arrival so you may wait a bit to get your order but it will come hot off the grill. Not a lot of tables so plan to come before 8am or after 10am.

Yelp
We were out exploring Glacier Park for the day and happened upon this spot right around lunchtime. It's still very early in the season so lots of places aren't open so we seized the moment. The menu was a standard diner type menu so we ordered simple sandwiches with chips. I had a BLT and was pleased to see the bacon was cooked to order. No bread options but it was a tasty and simple treat with Lays chips. My husband had the fish sandwich and it was tasty and like mine, served with lettuce, tomato, and pickles. Service was acceptable but no frills, no smiles, and despite the fact we were sitting at the counter, zero conversation. We opted against pie and ice cream that we initially planned to order, just because we felt a little odd, almost like we were imposing. Restrooms were clean but not well stocked as both rolls of toilet paper were out despite business being slow. It was a sweet, old spot and could have been a better experience. I was interested in the history because there were great old decorative details all around.

Ronald P.

Yelp
Very good breakfast and service! Sat at the counter and watched them make it. Very traditional American diner.

Andy B.

Yelp
Classic Valentine Cafe! A tradition that started in Kansas, is maintained at the Two Medine Grill. We were lucky and got seated right away. Soon after we arrived the place filled up. Our server was a hustler delivering great service. The atmosphere is rustic small town, the food terrific. Everything here is made to order so if your expecting fast food this is not your place. Regardless, it's worth the wait! I ordered a ham & cheese omelette...one word Wow! Be sure visit this cafe while in East Glacier.

Rayna V.

Yelp
Came here before going into Glacier with the fam! My table all had cheeseburgers and my mother and her cousin had patty melts. All the food tasted really fresh and the meals came with a generous portion of chips. We also ordered a plate of fries which were really good and seemed to be beer battered! It was a great little grill with an adjoining gift shop.

Sunny L.

Yelp
I was naïve to believe the high Yelp rating. This is just a tiny hole-in-the wall cheap eats with mediocre or below the average food & service. The service is completely out of sync. Avoid. & don't be fooled by the high Yelp rating.

Ivonne N.

Yelp
Starting with the pancakes- three options little stack, small stack (2), and regular. One is big. Small menu, breakfast and lunch. Place is busy, and it's small, expect to wait for a table, but well worth the wait.

Mary E.

Yelp
Amazing home-style, simple food. Friendly service & definitely frequented by locals. The pie is to DIE for! We had a wonderful time here, watching the chef make our lunch and chatting with the two waitresses about travels and trips. I would absolutely come here again next time I head up to Two Medicine.

Tbone S.

Yelp
Tourist? Get ready to get clipped. One small diet coke, two small - ass tasting vanilla milkshakes - $18.00.

Josh R.

Yelp
I ordered a grilled ham and cheese sandwich with chips. The food was good, but the service was not very good. There were only 3 people working there at 1 p.m., and you could tell they were overwhelmed. The kitchen is located right behind the bar area, and it's very small. It was not very clean, and the crew did not wear hairnets or gloves when handling the food. With some more staff and some cleanliness improvements, this place could be better!

David M.

Yelp
When I search for top-notch hot wings, I don't stop in at tiny little eateries outside a National Park. But we ordered the hot wings as an appetizer, and were blown away by the flavor. The buffalo sauce was so good we kept it at the table to dip our steak in. The chili was good. The steak was cooked well. And the huckleberry shake was damn near perfect. If I had to make any complaints about this place, it's that they forgot our roll that's supposed to come with dinner. Both the Mrs. and I were happy with the food, and it's located on the main strip in East Glacier.

Jenn C.

Yelp
Excellent breakfast! Yummy bacon and amazing sourdough toast. Served us Montana Trader coffee. Great veggie omelettes as well and very friendly service.

Seana K.

Yelp
The only place you'll find open off Season in East Glacier Park Village. Diner style counter seating and small dining area chef cooks behind the counter. The food is amazing, had the BLT on sourdough, seriously the best sandwich of my life, it was huge!Got the fresh cut fries with it and a shake. I cannot remember the last time I've really enjoyed a meal this much. When you go ask for Micah, he was the chef and truly enjoys what he does. Ended up spending 2 houses there talking with other patrons Micah and his daughter Gabby. Just great food, great company throughly lovely little place Micah whipped up a special "little" sandwich for his friend Ben who'd just been out biking/skiing in Two Medicine valley. That's the monster sandwich in the picture. Stop in for a bite and some great company.

Nicola L.

Yelp
Huckleberry roll - 3.75 stars More cakey and soft than I expected or would like (I'd prefer a yeast bread) but it was surprisingly (pleasantly so) not sweet. Huckleberry milkshake - 4 stars Sweet but not sickeningly so. In fact very tolerably sweet. Loved the huckleberry and they had whole (well, slightly squished) berries in them. Enjoyed this!

Rachel W.

Yelp
I love a good luncheonette counter, and found one at Two Medicine Grill. We stopped in right when they opened before jumping in the car for the long drive home to Boulder, CO from Glacier. We initially intended to get coffee and go, but the lure of the luncheonette was strong. My husband and I both had basic egg, hashbrown, bacon, toast/biscuit breakfasts. Classic and expertly prepared on the flat top. Sitting behind the counter afforded us a great view of the flat top queen's technique, and daaaammmnnn it's impressive. Overall, your typical greasy, buttery, delicious old school breakfast - the perfect indulgent cap to a week of camping. To those complaining about how long their food took - take a glance at the cooking space behind the counter and you'll understand. The two ladies working the morning we had breakfast were HUSTLING the entire time! This restaurant wasn't made for fast food. Get a coffee, relax with your dining partners, and forget about the time. We did, and it was worth it.

Shubha H.

Yelp
This restaurant is located at the East Glacier and almost looks like a small hole in the wall eat out place. It is a small local restaurant seating about 30 people in their dining area and few more in their bar section. The food is decent but the service was really slow the day we were here! Lack of better options around this place does make it a good stop-by restaurant!

Jules M.

Yelp
Food wasn't the best, very dry. Bathroom was unusable due to sanitary reasons. Burger wasn't very good and for the price it was a huge let down. Very small sitting area and only one waitress. Guy there wore a yellow rubber glove and touched everything, even smoked in the glove. Hopefully I don't get food poisoning.

Yelp
This is a tiny little diner in the tiny little town of east glacier, which used to be called "midvale" fyi. It is basically built up around the East Glacier Lodge with a small assortment of locals who live there year round. If you don't feel like eating at the lodge restaurant- which is over priced and mediocre, your options are limited, but if you are in the mood for american diner style food, you could do alot worse then two medicine. The menu is standard American diner fare- hamburgers and meat related sandwichs served hot with french fries, soda, coffee (espresso) and pie available before/after/during. The place is tiny- especially the diner counter. It's kind of crazy because this has to be one of the emptiest parts of america in terms of development, and here they are cramped for space. They also serve a veggie burger- which seemed to be readily available in this corner of the map- all the hippies going to national parks?

Cari L.

Yelp
Great French dip with mushrooms and swiss, BLT bagel, onion rings and sour cream chive French fries.. great comfort food.

Ryan N.

Yelp
Food was phenomenal. The biscuits and gravy special was absolutely incredible. My daughter loved the pancakes. The hospitality by one waiter was less than desired. I understand you have your slice of heaven here, but to complain about a crowded restaurant and tourists coming to the National Park is sad. Tourism keeps you employed.

Emily K.

Yelp
The staff was very attentive and friendly. We were passing through and in desperate need of food, so we stopped in here for a bite since there weren't many other options around. The food was good for what it is, prices were very reasonable, if I found myself in the area again in need of food, I'd come back.

Jennifer R.

Yelp
We live just on the other side of the mountains, and are frequent visitors to East Glacier, but we'll probably always regret the day we decided to finally try Two Medicine Grill. I know it's the end of tourist season and the locals are fed up, but holy cow, they were extremely rude at this restaurant. The waitress seemed perturbed by people just being in there at all; she was short and snappy, and took our high chair away because it was "in her way". The burger was blackened, literally burnt to a crisp. The fries were soggy and raw, and the cook literally dumped cayenne pepper in a pile on top. It was the first time in my life that I sent food back and said I'm not paying for this, which of course REALLY pissed off the waitress. Just a downright terrible experience.

Dick H.

Yelp
Awesome food and service (and music). The special of the day was biscuits and gravy - among the best ever! A cute quaint place, great for breakfast!

Bryan S.

Yelp
Stopped here for lunch and got the last table open. We were given our menus right away, but waited quite a while for the waitress to take our order. My friend is from Philadelphia, and I had never had a Philly Steak Sandwich, so decided to try one. Be forewarned. This is NOT a hoagie roll. Admittedly, the soft roll seems to be what Montanans call a hoagie roll, but in reality it is just a hot dog roll on steroids. A true hoagie roll is a hard roll, more like a miniature baguette than a hot dog roll. The sandwich tasted good, but it needs a hard roll to stand up to the ingredients.

Sarah S.

Yelp
We were incredibly hungry coming down from hilling around the closed highway 49 and this really fit the bill! I had a Buffalo burger with cheese at the old diner counter and it's fun to watch your good being cooked. Our waitress was a friendly woman named Caitlin who have us lots of recommendations for things to do in the area. Super great, down home food.

Neika C.

Yelp
Where to start?.?.? Poor service, long wait, incorrect information given when order was finally taken. The very vegan sandwich was good. However, when you say breakfast is served until 11:30, and then you don't ACTUALLY allow people to order it starting at 10:45, telling them it will be 40 minutes for a lunch order, it is frustrating to someone who has already waited in a standing line for 30 minutes. Prices were reasonable. And the reality is, there is only 3 places in town to eat, and only 2 are open before 5 pm... So, pack a lunch prior to arriving in town!

Tagg Y.

Yelp
I like this place. I give the food 3 stars. I give the upkeep of the inside of the place about 1 1/2 stars. But it is reminiscent of old style diners. I have only had breakfast here. The food is cooked on a grill top which has to use oil and it is a little greasy, but I still like it. I ordered eggs over 'medium' and that is what I got. By comparison, I had eggs over 'medium' in the Many Glacier Hotel a couple days earlier and they were cooked Hard - and they would not replace them. The eggs came with has browns, bacon, and toast. Nothing remarkable about any of it but competently done. The folks in the place are nice. The guy who was waiting tables is likeable, but does not have a feel for that job and my guess is he won't keep it. But did I mention that I like the place?

Pam S.

Yelp
The Two Medicine Cafe is a quirky little cafe with quality food. The biscuits were delicious, as was the chicken fried steak and special burger. The service was excellent, as well.

Patti A.

Yelp
What a great little "Two Medicine" breakfast place. Good food, good atmosphere and great prices. Let's just say, a Dire Straights song came on while we were there and everyone of all ages started bobbing their heads to the music. Good vibes for a small town place. Would definitely return if I am ever in the area again.

Sabrina B.

Yelp
Walk in didn't know what to expect but it was amazing ! The waitress was super helpful and nice and I was so shocked they actually had an item on the menu that specifically states "VEGAN" omg I was so thrilled ! Never thought I could find this in Montana! And the food was absolutely delicious! Thank you two medicine grill for being the beginning of change !

Annie K.

Yelp
Food was typical american bar and grill, greasy and tasty. The BLT I ordered was huge with large quantities of bacon and lettuce (a great surprise!). French fries were delicious, my favorite kind and raw cut potatoey. Service was good although not particularly friendly. The pie options made it too hard to skip dessert and I wasn't disappointed.

Sharon A.

Yelp
While Al, our server was personable and did a yeoman's job at a busy time, my buffalo burger was awful. I asked for it cooked as rare as possible. While my meal came out first, the burger was beyond well done - it would have made a great substitute for a hockey puck. And they were out of huckleberry pie. I'd suggest the BLT, because nobody can ruin bacon ...

Michael W.

Yelp
Lady at counter was extremely rude! Lost appetite with her unfriendliness so decided to take business elsewhere.

Jeannie R.

Yelp
Great little mom and pop restaurant! Yes, it might take awhile to get seated since the space is small. Yes, it might take awhile to get your order taken because the owner takes her time with everyone, but once the food comes, you wont be sorry. We were desperate for burgers/fries after a day of hiking, and this hit the spot. Also, I highly recommend the huckleberry ice cream. Overall, would recommend if you have some time and patience to experience it.

May T.

Yelp
My group of friends and I ended up at Two Medicine Grill after a long snow-shoeing trek through Glacier National Park. We were told that the buffalo burgers were definitely something to try and being the east coast city slicker folk that we are, that is exactly what we did. So the whole 10 or perhaps 11 of us asked for an order of buffalo cheeseburgers and fries. The burger didn't blow my mind as I expected it to. It tasted more or less like a normal beef burger but it was pretty delicious nonetheless and apparently it is much more lean than your normal cheeseburger. The menu at Two Medicine Grill was quite reminiscent of those of diners I tend to frequent...cheese fries, onion rings, grilled cheese, the usual, etc. The interior of this establishment was pretty tiny but not entirely shabby. The tables we were seated with had film photos and I believe either postcards or thank you letters under a layer of glass for our touristy, viewing pleasure. Our waitress was all right seeing that she had to deal with such a large group of cold, tired and hungry college kids. Overall, I'd definitely come back. I had a good time, the prices are relatively cheap and it's a rather relaxed establishment.

Jim T.

Yelp
If you're hungry along the road to Glacier National Park, Two Medicine Grill is a nice diner along the road with great customer service, nice atmosphere, and decent food. Bottom line: the best party of Two Medicine Grill is the staff. Friendly, very welcoming and open to talking about Glacier National park, hiking, and life in Montana. You can usually find a couple of tour guides (hiking and climbing) eating with you if you eat at the counter. Loved the people. The food . . . it's another story. Everything we had was pretty mediocre. Coffee was bland, watery truck stop stuff. The pie we ordered was edible, but nothing worth going out of your way for. We had a few sandwiches and they were decent. The menu is pretty much edible, but I can't recommend it above that. But I liked the people enough that Two Medicine Grill earns 3 stars.

Veddipta D.

Yelp
A good breakfast place. The employees are very friendly and unlike the other reviews I read, we were served very quickly. We had the biscuits with sausage gravy and eggs which was special that day and some french toast with coffee. Everything was delicious!

Billy S.

Yelp
Stopped for dinner after a day in Glacier Park. Cool local and tourist hangout. Had the Ham Steak (where do you ever see that on the menu ?) and my buddy had the Chicken Friend Steak. Both were fine, but nothing to write home about. The dinner salad was surprisingly good and that pie for desert rocked! Enjoyed the dry humored waitress. Probably a great place for breakfast and could see adding a star for that. Definitely a good choice in a town with limited options.

Jeff D.

Yelp
This place is about average for east glacier. It's great for breakfast if you get there early. They only have one flattop and one cook. Coffee is good, bacon is nice and thick, hashbrowns are good but need salt. Pancakes are fine. We had two breakfasts and a dinner here. The dinner was kind of a disaster. Of the four of us, the waitress came back to say they couldn't do two of them. 'sorry, we're out of fish, then.... we're out of steak for the French dip'. They waited to bring salads and soup until 30 seconds before the rest of the dinner orders were ready. One of us ordered mashed potatoes and got fries instead. The chicken fried steak was good though the gravy looked like it came out of a can. The chicken wings came with no sauce on them, but they were tasty with heinz 57. The buffalo burger was ok. For dinner, there are better options in east glacier.

Erica C.

Yelp
This was a quick stop for lunch on our way back east. We got PIE! It was wonderful & so was the super friendly service. Huckleberry in season & Apple is always in season. Super fresh and delicious with fast take out service.

Roman K.

Yelp
Fun and "authentic" location - great coffee and the kind of food you can expect to get in a diner.

Laura B.

Yelp
Stopped for late lunch while exploring this side of the park. Down home atmosphere catering to both locals & tourists. Service was good. Split pea soup was fresh & delicious. Good value. Definitely hit the spot!

Donna A.

Yelp
This place is a great stop. Had breakfast at the counter. Staff is pleasant and eager to help glacier park tourists. Food is delish. Don't walk past the place. It's a hidden gem

Tina H.

Yelp
Very tasty food, we ate here 3 times - twice for breakfast and once for dinner. First time for breakfast (2nd visit) we waited over an hour for our food. No fault of the staff, they were working like dogs and it was busy. It should be better staffed during peak hours. Breakfast sandwich on bagel was yummy! Staff was always friendly, even during the busiest of times!

Dan M.

Yelp
Awesome lunch in a really cool place. Our server Electra was outstanding and Cory, the cook, prepared everything like a pro. Vegan sandwich was really good because the hummus was so tasty. French fries were home made, not greasy, and burgers were delicious and locally sourced. And the pies...

James M.

Yelp
Impossibly bad service. 15 minute wait before anybody came to take our order. Wouldn't serve breakfast though we were there in plenty of time. Not the friendly high plains experience I am used to.

Joshua C.

Yelp
Great food, cool small-town diner vibe, and an awesome wait staff. This place is everything you could hope for in a restaurant on the outskirts of Glacier National Park. I highly recommend staying in East Glacier and, if you do, this place is a must.

Mark E.

Yelp
Homey diner/grill. Excellent burgers with local Montana beef. Fries ok. Lots of food for money. Grill Chef entertains customers at counter. Note: no alcohol or BYO.
