This was one of the best places to eat in Girona. They have great choices of pintxos. Each and every pintxos I tried was super delicious. Staff is friendly and helpful as well. Keep in mind how this kind of places work: you will take a plate, put as many pintxos as you wish; once you are finished the staff will arrive at your table and they will count pintxos sticks on your plate and calculate your cost.

The food is great. You can order off the menu or go and take plates of the bar for €2.40 each, which is good value. The quality of the food and the flavours are excellent. Definitely worth a visit if you are in Girona.

Nice restaurant in the center of Girona. Perfect for quick meal. They have a big choice of tasty pinchos, good vine, average tapas, super nice service and authentic atmosphere.

All tapas are 2.4€, which is a bit too much to pay. Fanta was 2.7€. Most of all were good, the croquette and meat one were amazing!! but 2.4€ each… it’s too expensive for some. This restaurant is for tourist. Tourist price. But staff were really kind and nice. They have English menu and they can speak English. I recommend this restaurant but prepare for your mind before you pay.

Authentic Basque food. We were looking for a restaurant in which be able to talk, light drink, eat more in a variety of tastes and with more personal rhythm than a normal format and this is the place. We did a slow paced chill dinner, divided in 2 tempos, with first cervezas and then wine, eating two different kind of tapas. We spent 50 with 12 tapas, 2 beers, and 2 red wines. Tapas are fresh and I really love the vibe, eat outside is a plus!

I understand pintxos …this place you pay by the piece. 2.40 €. They look like they have been out all day. Just not appetizing at all. I ordered off the menu while my wife got pintxos by the piece. I ordered calamari rings €15 and their patatas bravas for 5,50 euros. The calamari was barely fried. Just a bit of breading. But I expected the calamari to have flavor. It did not. It also came out barely flash fried. That’s okay if it had been hot. It wasn’t. The potatoes brava had obviously been sitting and being held until someone ordered it. They dumped a whole bunch of aïoli over the top of it with no finesse at all. Again, that would’ve been OK and I would’ve overlooked it if they’ve been hot. They were not. We ordered an entire bottle of cava (Rovellats)which was €20 and actually very good. Would I come back here? No.

Slightly removed from the tourist honeypots in the Barri Vell, this Basque restaurant has a lively atmosphere, fuss free and efficient service and serves fish and seafood cooked traditionally on the grill or basque style. If you just want to snack, there is a great choice of ‘help-your-self’ pintxos. Prices are very reasonable given the quality of the food. This is my go-to restaurant in Girona if I am introducing friends to the city and want lots of choice, reliable food and efficient service.

Awesome food. I recommend to stick to the menu and not dive into the tapas buffet. They have great stuff on the a la carte menu, especially the calamaris and grilled duck. It is a bit touristy but the ambience is super nice. Go there
