Tyler's Pizza: A Flavorful Feast! I recently had the pleasure of trying Tyler's Pizza, and I must say, it was an absolute delight! From the first bite to the last, every element was bursting with flavor. The pizza itself was perfectly cooked, with a delicious crust that struck the ideal balance between chewy and crispy. The toppings were fresh and plentiful, and the sauce was clearly made with high-quality ingredients. But the real star of the show, surprisingly, was the brownie. Forget your standard dense, fudgy brownie; Tyler's offered a cake-like brownie that was truly melt-in-your-mouth. It was light, airy, and incredibly rich, with a perfect balance of sweetness. It was a wonderful and unexpected treat, and I highly recommend saving room for dessert! Overall, Tyler's Pizza delivered a fantastic culinary experience. The combination of flavorful pizza and the heavenly brownie makes this a must-try for any pizza lover. I will definitely be ordering from them again soon!

Google
The best! They make their own sourdough crust and sauce. Perfect every time. Personal favorite is the Autumn Swoon.

Google
Burnt yet flimsy crust and flavorless toppings for almost $30 there are better local & chain options available

Google
Seriously! What is this! I ordered 2 calzones and had my husband pick them up. When I opened the box I was shocked 😲 Totally inedible and burnt! I will never order from them again!

Jennifer Burch

Google
My husband and I ordered the Sunny Side Up Pizza and it was delicious! Who doesn’t love pizza for breakfast? Delicious chewy crust and great combination of toppings. The staff was friendly and the pizza was ready in about 30 minutes on a busy Friday evening! We will most assuredly order again soon!

Google
New to the area and looked everywhere for good pizza and I finally found it and the pasteries are made from scratch and taste amazing as well and really nice people and we’re really nice to my daughters will definitely be back!

Jared Morgan

Google
When I say that's the best cheese Danish I've ever had, I mean it. So glad we tried a local place instead of a big chain. EDIT: After getting home and trying the pizza, I wish I could give this place 6 stars. Will definitely be ordering again.

Google
This is excellent fired pizza. It is not your hum drum pizza but rather unique and delicious!!! And they have creative, delicious bakery treats for sale, either for dessert or breakfast next day.

Yelp
We love tyler's pizza - ordered a pep and mushroom and a mushroom and onion. I'm a big dan of the sauce . They get busy on the weekends so plan ahead. Worth the wait!

Yelp
I'm in Columbus unexpectedly on a leave of absence from work for 5 months. I live in NYC so, you know, pizza is a thing. But actually I found Tyler's because they turned up in my Google search for "apple pie near me." On my first trip, they'd sold out of their bakery items (it was near closing time on the day before Thanksgiving). We got a small Autumn Swoon pizza but vowed to come back for pastries. We smashed that pizza. The crust is perfect. Thick enough on the edges to get that full creamy bread taste, thin and sturdy enough in the center to bind with the other flavors and hold up to the heavy toppings. And the flavors are fresh and bold, with just the right layering of sauce and generous spread of cheese. When I went back for pastries, I had to put in a special order since they don't bake everything on their menu on all days. I ordered Blueberry Chocolate Chip Bars and an Apple Turnover. Meanwhile, I got a Stromboli for dinner, with pepperoni, sausage, and banana peppers. SMASHED. It was delicious, wood fired like the pizza, charred but not burnt. They were also giving out samples of the Walnut Crusted Cheesecake, which my daughter and I had been eyeing on their menu. OMG please order this. I ordered A WHOLE ONE which I can't wait to pick up this Friday. I also sampled the Russenzopf (walnut cinnamon bread), which was good but a little sweet for my preference and I'm not a fan of cinnamon. I've not been disappointed by ANYthing I've ordered here. The owners are a husband and wife team and they've been present every time I've gone in, and they are pleasant and personable and seem to enjoy seeing how pleased their customers are with their product. I'm a.new fan from afar and will be at Tyler's every time I come back home to Columbus to visit.

Yelp
The pastries and the pizza were both great. The 1 and 2 star reviews on here are obviously from people that like red baron frozen pizzas. I will say we took it home and put it in the oven to warm up. It did make the crust crispier but overall the pizza is very solid and the pastries are Awsome. This is def a repeat pizza shop for us. . We have eaten pizza all over and this is one of the best in central ohio

Yelp
The people in this restaurant are very sweet, genuine and good people. I get confused with the times of restaurants because I don't know if it is ok to go to them until they close or if you should not go if it closes in the hour, some places want you to but it is rude at others so I call and I ask first. The lady that answered was very nice and she helped me with everything, she said it was ok to put in the order. I got there but there was wasn't anyone so I was worried that I made a mistake and shouldn't have put it in but the lady and man there were very nice and said it was ok and that they were been busy before but just slowed down. (Again I hope it was not because I broke the rule if it is I am so sorry. I do wish that companies might put it on their things to say if it is ok or if it's not maybe leave it blank))). The lady gave me some things to sample for my family which was so nice of her too. They said that they will have the pizza on Thursday at JFK in Reynoldsburg during the market festival the pizza oven will be there (if you have your pizza cooked at a big chain store you are missing out to support your local businesses but also to have the goodness of fire oven! They will have that at JFK too along with the good baked treats). The restaurant is clean, nice and cozy. It is very welcoming and I love it. I wanted to leave a tip but she insisted I not but I know it is important to show your appreciation so I will leave a bigger one next time. I know this is not the best post but if in doubt go to this place they are lovely and kind people and the food is very very good (I am very picky especially when it come to pizza) if you like NY style pizza I will say you will like this definitely. This post is so long I'm sorry but I just wanted to tell you how great they are and you should come here!!!! Thank you again to the people I met there)) (I drop cheese bread trying to carry it in but I will attach the pictures of the rest. We had cheese pizzas and she gave us samples of a chocolate pastry and a whole zucchini bread which are both delicious as well again I am probably the most picky person my family hates going to eat out with me. Come here everyone!!!

Yelp
5 stars! Everything we have enjoyed from Tyler's over the years have been delicious. I miss them being in Gahanna, and now not being open more hours. Their pizza is amazing. I'm disappointed that I can't make pre orders anymore.

Jeff K.

Yelp
Amazing local place. A true hidden gem of Reynoldsburg. Everything here is amazing. In the years I have been coming I have never had a bad order. The pizza is tasty, the pastries are amazing, and always end up spending at least $20 here. 5 stars!

Hannah J.

Yelp
The employees were great and such a cute little take out place! I was extremely excited to try the pizza since I love wood fire. But... the pizza was SOAKED with grease. I understand pepperoni has a grease that releases but the whole pizza as you see was soaked. Just a few taps on the paper towel shows you how much. The pizza had a great flavor but I couldn't even hold it up since it was so wet with grease. I would like to give it another try but... nervous to spend the money again. They were kind enough to give me a refund. I felt bad but I just was very disappointed after searching yelp and looking at others pizza.

Cody L.

Yelp
Firstly, it's adorable and tiny. You walk in and it smells of fresh pastries and pizza, there's beautiful loaves of bread on display, dough getting loved on and pizzas being slung in the brick ovens. Everybody was very nice and there were samples to try and let me tell you...one nibble of the chocolate croissant and it was love at first bite; flakey, warm and decadent so naturally I bought two. Just when I thought I found my one and only I tasted the cream cheese danish....boom my pastry soul mate was right before my eyes. No debate the best pastry I have ever eaten; creamy, light, rich and voluptuous so naturally I bought two. Now for the calzone and pizza I can lump them together since they are similar by design. The dough is absolutely spectacular! Charred, crisp and chewy, really reminded me of my trip to New Haven. Undercarriage is to die for; leaves a little black char on your fingers. Cartoon esq. cheese pull, peps were crispy, sauce was fresh and vibrant. Tighten up the middle a bit and it's a 9+. This is a drive an hour to try it spot easy. From a guy who's eaten pizza in Chicago, New Haven, New York and about 75% of places in central Ohio. Chocolate croissant-8.9, Cream cheese danish-9.4, calzone-8.6, pizza-8.8

Yelp
Excellent pizza and the bakery items were sooo yummy! They were very friendly and gave samples of the bakery items so you could make sure that you liked it before purchasing them which was really nice! Of course I ended up buying multiple bakery items and shared them with friends-they all loved them as well! They bake different items daily so order the bakery items ahead of time if you want certain items. Plus they sell out quickly! Overall excellent service and food with quality fresh toppings, homemade sourdough pizza crust, and the pizza is really cooked over a wood fire!

Melanie S.

Yelp
A phenomenal place, I've referred them to others who love it as well. Every pizza we've had is extremely tasty, and the people are very nice too. This is my favorite pie in Columbus, we always enjoy the chance to get our family Tyler's pizza. Years later: still our favorite pizza, and we've jumped into the baked goods by mistake. We don't visit anymore without a few boxes and a bag. Muffins are delicious, cinnamon croissant roles are sensational, and the cheese danishes are a family favorite. The staff is always very friendly and attentive, and our orders always correct. We like to call ahead to ensure we can get one for the evening, they are popular for many reasons. Thank you for a phenomenal experience, Tyler's Pizzeria!

Garic W.

Yelp
Everyone is SUPER polite! The pizza and desserts are amazing!! Hidden gem in Reynoldsburg!

Michele D.

Yelp
Excellent service, pizza was delicious and the calzone was amazing. Even leftovers were great

Shakarra T.

Yelp
An absolute gem!! The baked goods are always fresh and delicious.... Pizza is excellent too.

Brittney W.

Yelp
Excellent wood fired pizza! Fresh ingredients. If they have the blueberry chocolate chip bars, you better get you some!

Marianne R.

Yelp
When your Hubby gets goodies on online auctions. It brings you to new areas to check out. Saw the 5 Star reviews had to stop in. They have no seating but walking in you want to eat anything they have or offer you to sample. I was in to get some baked goods. Going in for a couple things and $25 later..Lol can't wait to try the loaf of bread and pepperoni bread. We were told we could get a sample of anything they had. We chose the scone which was mouthwatering. I thought scones were more dry than this one was but that's quite alright. After having the sample we added some to our already adding up pile. Loved them. The owner was in the kitchen and told us if we wanted something for sure we could order ahead anytime and very friendly. The pic I posted are the items that made it home minus the scones..Lol The other pic is of the storefront when nice weather there is a few seats to eat outside. Oh! And they make pizzas, calzones and Strombolis..Can't wait to make it back..never wished for my Hubby to win another auction.. Keep doing what you're doing!! Awesome job!!

Madeline P.

Yelp
excellent pizza! excellent ingredients! I get it whenever I am in Reynoldsburg. They are such nice people, too, service is A+ and grab some baked goods when you are there, you won't regret it.

JA S.

Yelp
Great pizza, pasta atmosphere and awesome employees. Five star all the way every time.

Robert S.

Yelp
One of the best Margarita Pizzas we ever had. We will be back soon. Service was great. Pizza was ready when promised.

Cathy R.

Yelp
I truly loved Tyler's Pizzeria. I used to go in on Saturdays for fresh bread and the best cinnamon croissants! I loved having a bakery nearby. However they stopped being open on Saturday mornings. So I no longer go there.

Teresa W.

Yelp
Wow! We were traveling from Maryland to Minnesota and had a hankerin for a margarita pizza. We were looking for a pizza place that was convenient to the interstate and had good reviews. I am so glad we went to Tyler's!! Jordan was super helpful when we placed our order by phone and such a joyful blessing when we got there to get our pizzas. Tyler was making the pizzas- he's a master at what he does! We were not disappointed. Yummmmm! There is no indoor seating, but the outdoor seating is super cute. They have 2 gardens out front where they pick tomatoes and Basil for pizzas. I highly recommend Tyler's! Also, their cookies are delicious!!!

Holly L.

Yelp
The most incredible pizza I have ever had! You can truly feel the love with which it was made! Each slice a different but each remarkable taste! Fresh and crispy!

Alana G.

Yelp
My family and I had to drop by after seeing all the great reviews and we're very happy we did. Between the 4 us, we ordered 2 large pizzas - 1 vegetarian (and added olives) and 1 pepperoni (we got wings elsewhere though we wish we sold them). The best word to describe each pizza was "fresh", from the sauce to the cheese and plentiful toppings. Each of us sampled a baked good - you really can't go wrong with any of them, it seems, but we tried the cinnamon roll, mixed berry-buttery scone, and ham & cheese roll. All were delicious. Very good pizza and baked goods! Small place but seemed busy. The owner was awesome as well. Just a great place to try - if we lived here, we'd definitely be regulars.

Pamela T.

Yelp
Great food! Plan ahead because many products are only made if you order them. Limited days and hours also.

Rich W.

Yelp
Bread Pizza Pastries they have wonderful food. It maybe small but what big flavor! Best calzone in Reynoldsburg.

Daniel B.

Yelp
Great customer service, really good pizza. This a good place for takeout, but you can't dine in.

Mark K.

Yelp
Great home made baked goods as well as a really delicious pizza. Give them a try if you live close to Reynoldsburg.

Ronald C.

Yelp
Best pizza and pasties this side of town. When guests come to visit Tyler's is where we go. The nicest family you will meet, compliments their amazing products! The staff hands down are the kindest, product knowledgeable group you'll experience. Better call ahead early cause the word is out! They will not compromise quality for quantity.

S M.

Yelp
I was in town and was looking for something other than Donatos because it has gone downhill for me. It's not like it use to be like back in the day. My brother in law told us about Tyler's Pizza and said it was good and the pastries were too. We gave it a try and I liked it. I like just pepperoni on mines. I didnt like the sausage because it was crumbles. It was a change from the chain pizza places. I got 2 large pizzas and the young lady ask me did I want to try a sample and she gave me a blueberry chocolate chip dessert and it was delicious so I purchased 6 of them.

Alice S.

Yelp
A Reynoldsburg treasure. Delicious brick oven pizzas and pastries. Crust is excellent (I'm originally from New Jersey so I would know). We like the potato focaccia and the veggie rolls. Be prepared to order well ahead of closing (we were once the last order they would take, at 8 pm) and to wait for at least 45 minutes. Worth it. Carry out only

Lori R.

Yelp
The BEST pizza I've had! Not saying much, because I tend to stick with the tried and true method. They do have a bit of a sweeter sauce. But that undercarriage! Omg!

Amy P.

Yelp
Holy Hannah why have I waited so long to try this pizza?!?! A tiny little storefront that creates magic is all I can say. Cute outdoor seating area in the front of the store. I came late so the pastry selection was minimal but I can tell this is where I will be coming from now on for bread and pastries. We ordered three different pizzas (2 small 1 large). A straight up pepperoni, a ham, onion and mushroom and a pork pie sub bacon for ham with mushrooms. I also grabbed two Apple Cinnamon pastries that I couldn't resist. While I waited I was offered a sample and looked like there were several to choose from. Pizza was ready with five minutes of the time they told me when I called. The young woman at the counter was super nice and helpful, walking me through my 10% first timers Yelp discount and made sure I got one of their punch cards for free pizza and bread after so many purchases. All I can say is the pizza was fantastic and we will likely not order from anyone else moving forward. We live in Pickerington which I think might secretly be the pizza capital of the world but the 15 min max drive to Tyler's is no problem for this pizza loving family!

James T.

Yelp
Tyler has the best pizza and their service is good. A nice place to go for pizza . Tyler who owns it is very nice and is very helpful .

Stephen B.

Yelp
If you live on the east side of 270, look no further. This is a fantastic bakery. Great baked goods at a decent price.

Bricen S.

Yelp
Bad food. Bad taste. Bad service. Bad health. Bad ambiance. Bad feel. I do not recommend Tyler's Pizzeria & Bakery.

Tiffany R.

Yelp
I'm a Tyler's groupie. It's probably my favorite bakery. Tyler is always in and will always come out to say hello if he's not taking your order. Everything is fresh and made that morning. Pizzas orders start a little later than they open. I do wish that he opened earlier than 11am. And you can sample almost anything. You can also order anything that can be baked, they just need 24hr notice. The sugar cookies and cheese danishes are amazing. Especially if you get them right out the oven. But the best is the blueberry chocolate chip bars..... Wait no the cinnamon danishes. I can't decide!! Just go and get one of everything.. Including a pizza. Just go, you won't be wasting your money or your time.

Beatriz C.

Yelp
The best pizza in Ohio! The pastries and breads are lovely. The staff is very friendly!

Eric L.

Yelp
Tyler's is not a gourmet pizza restaurant. It is a large buffet with a good selection of constantly rotating pizzas and a large salad bar and there is an arcade for the kids and kids at heart like me. We took the four kids and had a great evening and everyone enjoyed the food and games.

Chris W.

Yelp
Traveling from Md to MN and wanted pizza. Found Tyler's pizzeria. The owners were there and they were soo nice and accommodating. The pizza(Margherita) was delicious. Couldn't have asked for better!

Cynthia N.

Yelp
This pizza and bakery spot we tried this Saturday. A friend of my husband actually recommended it. The pizzas we ordered were pepperoni and also a sausage. We took them to a pizza party we were invited to and everyone including us really loved the taste of the sauce with bits of tomato in it . The sausage has a very good taste a little kick to it . The pepperoni also was delicious. While we waited and paid we were offered some of the fresh baked bread or a crescent that's had different fillings. We tried the chocolate crescent roll it was really good. We would pop in again totally forgot to use the 10% off with the yelp app. This is a pick up and go type of place no seating, friendly staff , and items available written on a chalk board. Nice and small we'd come again when out that way .

Jessica B.

Yelp
Ok, I really wanted a legit wood fired pizza. I luckily found this shop on the east side of Columbus. Let me tell you, this place is like a legit European bakery. They aren't even trying to be, but they are! Scrumptious pastries, pizza, and stromboli. I have now been 2×. If you want your pizza a little more well done, just tell them! It's totally made to order. This time along with pizza and stromboli I got chocolate filled croissants, and berry scones.my husband is Scottish and he commented on how much the scones are like legit from the UK. I definitely recommend a visit to this bakery! I've had the challah bread previously. A tad bit sweet, but just right! The texture was airy and slightly chewy. Perfect !

Alan F.

Yelp
I had seen Tyler's rated number 17 on a list of the top 100 pizzerias in the US. Soon after that we knew we would be in the neighborhood and decided to place a pizza order for pick up. It was delicious! All the ingredients were super fresh and you could taste the flavor from the wood fired brick oven. Everyone there was very friendly as well. Great place!

Hannah S.

Yelp
Tyler's is the best! I've been eating here since they opened up in Reynoldsburg. I've work in a French-style patisserie that had excellent chocolate croissant, but they don't even come close to how amazing Tyler's are. Tyler's pastries are perfectly flakey and delicious!

Priscilla P.

Yelp
If I could give this place more than 5 stars I would. I haven't been this excited in a while to do a review on a restaurant, but this place definitely impressed me on many levels! I love my pizza, so I was hoping this places ratings were just a bunch of words. When I came in, the place was very small inside and there is only outside seating. I was immediately greeted by a worker and he took my order. I ordered a Small Summer Garden pizza which has onions, green peppers, sweet corn kernels, and tomato, but I added spinach and basil. I also had the option of choosing a pizza cheese base. Since I'm lactose intolerant, I chose a low lactose cheese base, which was fresh Parmesan. Then it also had homemade red sauce. As I waited for my pizza, I notice they had fresh whole milk, chocolate and strawberry milk by the glass gallon for sale. I also noted they had a small selection of FRESH in-house pastries and bread loaf for sale, my favorite being sourdough! One other customer waiting for food suggested I try a homemade chocolate croissant, which I can try before I purchase it. I also noticed that this small pizzaria is involved with the community as I read their thank you notes from several school and churches in the community thanking them for donating their goods. It was about 20 minutes and my "small" pizza was ready. For under $10, I was able to purchase an 8 slice specialty, customized pizza!! This pizza is what I call true food artistry, or food porn to be blunt. Who would've thought to put fresh corn on a pizza?? This is definitely the nicest, most colorful pizza I've ever purchased. I complimented the worker and he thanked me. He also proceeded to tell me if the pizza wasn't to my complete satisfaction he would gladly take it back to fix it. I was amazed. I inquired about the chocolate croissant and the worker proceeded to grab the croissant and slice me a good sized chunk of the croissant to try. Once I bit into it, the chocolate filling literally melted into my mouth. The bread was so fluffy. Once I told him I wanted to purchase it ($2), he was going to give me a whole new one. I couldn't bear to think the one I bit into would go to waste, so I took the rest of the one he sliced into, which still left A LOT left. Overall, this place won over my stomach and my heart. This pizza was FRESH, light, and flavorful and amazingly AFFORDABLE! Thank for you being an amazing, delicious, philanthropic restaurant

Desiree N.

Yelp
Amazing pizza and baked goods! It's a must try! Have patience, and you will be greatly rewarded with this gem.

Barry H.

Yelp
Stopped in for a little dessert. Had some blueberry bars which were loaded with blueberries, had a lot of an oatmeal taste also. Also got a cinnamon roll which had a nice frosting on top of crusty pastries that was wrapped around some cinnamon. Yummy. This is also a pizza shop. You need to check out both. Great stuff.

Vonda G.

Yelp
One of the two only pizza places I go. The owners and staff are always nice. They always speak when you enter and thank you for your business when leaving. Even when you place the order over the telephone they answer promptly and will answer all of your questions.

Jenni S.

Yelp
We were looking for a different pizza place and what we found was waaaaaay more than we expected. Awesome brick oven pizza, fantabulous service, fresh baked goods and who knew that a blueberry & chocolate dessert could be so amazing!!! We will be back. Most likely sooner rather than later

Ray L.

Yelp
Deserves all the stars me and other customers have given! They also offer free samples of their baked goods. The small Pizza is really like a medium.

LeeAnna S.

Yelp
I'm going to preface this by saying I worked in a pizzeria for 10 years. We were excited to try this play because of the awesome reviews so we headed over to Reynoldsburg to check it out. I specifically skimmed reviews to make sure they had a seating area so we could eat there. But when we arrived there was no indoor seating and just 3 small tables out on the sidewalk. Which was okay, it is fall but it was still warm when we got there. We went in and placed our order, but were stopped so she could go to the kitchen and "get a time" that our order would be ready. After a few minutes of talking with the kitchen she came back and said it would be 45 minutes - for 2 small pizzas - for a dine-in customer. So by the time we actually GOT our food it was cold outside and we live 20 minutes away so we didn't wat the food to get cold so we braved the cold and sat outside and ate. This was completely bizarre to me! The longest in my 10 years working in a pizzeria that i ever told anyone they would have to wait for carryout was a half hour and for customers who wanted dine-in, well they always went to the top of the list. When another couple came in while we were waiting, she again checked with kitchen staff, and I heard them telling them they would "try to squeeze them in" and have their order ready in 15 minutes. Try to squeeze them in? That's just so weird. The kitchen staff was working hard but there were only 4 guys back there on a friday night and they weren't hustling by any means. So although they staff was SUPER friendly I was really confused by this. On to the food: We were ok with waiting if the food would have been super good and I would totally have given this plave 3.4 stars if there were half stars to give but the middles were a bit thin and the dough was a little gummy in some parts. It wasn't bad by any means but not worth the 45 minute wait.
