Tymnos Hotel

Arrived late in the evening very tired from a long day or travel, the guy on reception was helpful and helped me with my bags to my 1st floor room. First red flag was no information in the room or given at check in about times for breakfast, checkout or wifi. Upon searching for wifi showed a hotel conection. But needed a password not provided.|The bed was comfy but was very confused my the layout,a bottom sheet, pillows,and a bed runner hid the one fairly thick and very scratchy blanket for the bed. Upon searching the cupboards found a second sratchy blanket and a bare duvet, as it was super warm did not want anything thick and certainly not scratchy. So decided to sleep under one of my thin microfibre towels. |And fell asleep quicky from the long day, only to be woken in the middle of the night as air con had turned on and was now freezing, so retrieved bare duvet and ran back to bed to try and warm up. Upon waking in the morning found out breckfast between 8-10 and being pointed to the terrace which is so pretty. The breckfast was a platter of different things i mainly did not reconise, lots for fruit, honey, fried cheese and bread. But there was alot of wasps around attracted by the food. I decided to give up my honey and fruit they seemed mostly attracted to at the furthest end of the table which then the nice man misunderstood me and took away, which meant they reverted back to bothering me. But next to the breakfast table was the blue waters filled with fish who loved getting the crusts from the tables. |I asked about the wifi and was logged in but did not work, which ment i did not have anyway to contact my cotravelers to arrange onward travel. But luckily my host realised the potential issue and knowing my destination managed to reach me though the hotel staff.

Really enjoyed my stay, end of summer season so hotel wasn’t busy. Room was very well equipped, good aircon, and kept spotlessly clean every day. Breakfast selection on the upstairs terrace good and lovely views out over the marina. Staff very friendly and helpful. There’s an area of decking with sunloungers and a ladder straight into the sea 🌊 😎 One thing to be aware of - wifi only worked standing in reception, so if you want to get away from it all this could be the place for you!

Very nice staff, always there to help you. Thr food is fantastic. The fish they cook is number one in Selimiye. The hotel had no place for kids to play around, and the semi-busy road between the beach (not a beach but a pier) the sea is a down turn. If you have kids, they may have difficulty in finding a place to play. The sea is deep so no beach either. But the hotel and the restaurant are both good. Try it.

Rooms are new, clean and comfortable. Hotel staff was friendly. I would pick same place next time. It has private beach and the sea is always nice. You can also spend some time at night there with some drink, it was so calm and silent|

Serene and picturesque. We loved Bozburun. It’s quiet, laid back and so beautiful. It seems popular with people who own yachts. Shopping and food was good and best of all… the people were friendly and so accommodating. I hope to return here.

This hotel is really perfect, services are great and people who works in here are so helpful and smiling. Foods and mezes are very delicious, it was pleasure to drink raki and eat good quality foods in restaurant with so cool musics. I will come here again as soon as possible.

Tymnos in Bozburun - Hands down, best value and quality on food, accommodations, hospitality and location - in the Bozburun area. It can’t get any more local and accommodating than Tymnos. Unless you prefer staying in the nearby pensions, Tymnos offers the best value that comfort can offer. This family-run hotel & restaurant is wonderfully and efficiently run by Okan Uslu together with his most hard-working parents Nurdan and Mitin, who happens to be a career fisherman. We’ve been here twice already, once in 2004 and we always dreamt of coming back. The food is the best in the strip - don’t even try the other hotel/restaurants because you’ll be disappointed. We made that mistake already. Their grilled octopus is the most tender and delicious. Service is efficient. The water is a skip from the hotel’s front door - one doesn’t even have to move much to get to the water! ||The owners as well as Murat the head waiter makes us feel like we’re family from the second we set food in the property. The surrounding area is very pleasant and walking distance to the grocery stores, the lovely village where all kinds of shops and cafes are located. ||Our kids who are now 11 and 13 have always enjoyed our holidays at Tymnos. The local shops provide endless eye candy and shopping opportunities - including a very well-stocked sandal shop and floaties emporium. ||Okan, the manager/owner speaks English well enough and makes very reliable recommendations. The wait staff try their hardest to make sure our needs are met and always have smiles on their faces. Breakfast is delicious and healthy. The coffee and tea are excellent and authentic. What more can anyone hope for? We shall keep returning.

I have been back to Tymnos 2 times and it has never failed me. From the beautiful views to the delicious fresh seafood restaurant I don’t know where to start. But I can for sure tell you the staff and people working here are very dedicated and provide an excellent experience. The restaurant is also high quality and I would recommend the grilled octopus as it is perfect. Do come here!
