Tyn Y Fron Country House and Holiday Cottage

Absolutely fantastic house in stunning grounds, a 10 min walk from the centre of Betwys-Y-Coed and only a short drive from Snowdon. Great facilities, clean and welcoming host. Would highly recommend and we will hopefully be back in the future👍

A group of friends for the last 40 years came together, the house is beautiful, clean, comfortable with a nice kitchen, lounge, dining room , bedrooms and massive garden.....perfect for cooking for the group and relaxing after outdoor activities. The suspension bridge to the village is closed so a walk is about 1.3 miles each way, this is not part of the house but when it is refurbished it will cut this in half. Certainly we will go again and highly recommend.

This was our fifth year staying at The Cottage and it remains comfortable and well equipped. It is perfectly positioned for walking access to Betws y Coed and a stones throw away from the Ty Gwyn Hotel which, in my opinion, is the best place to eat. I recommend a stay and I will be booking up to go again next year.

Stayed here for 3 nights with group of friends/family and could say the facilities on this house is superb! The rooms are big, bed is soft and ensuite are clean. We had the most comfortable stay and the host quickly replies to all our questions and needs. Location is perfect and close to everything. I would highly recommend this especially for groups hoping to visit the summit or explore north wales.

My friends, family, and I spent three unforgettable days there, celebrating New Year’s Eve in a setting that perfectly combined the charm of rural Wales with the glamour of the 1920s. The house and cottage are nestled in a picturesque location at Lon Muriau, Llanrwst Road, offering stunning views of the surrounding landscape. The interiors were cozy yet elegant, with every detail thoughtfully arranged for comfort. Spacious rooms, warm fireplaces, and delightful furnishings made the stay feel luxurious. New Year’s Eve was the highlight of our visit. We organized a themed party inspired by The Great Gatsby. Everyone dressed in dazzling 1920s-style costumes, bringing an air of glamour to the evening. The hosts were incredibly accommodating, ensuring we had everything needed to make the party a success, from table settings to lighting that perfectly complemented our theme. As the clock struck midnight, we toasted with champagne and stepped outside to enjoy a spectacular fireworks display. The serene countryside backdrop enhanced the experience, making it an unforgettable way to welcome the New Year. During the days, we explored nearby Betws-y-Coed, enjoyed scenic walks, and savored local delicacies. The location is ideal for anyone seeking both relaxation and adventure. Tyn Y Fron is perfect for group gatherings, offering a unique blend of comfort, beauty, and attention to detail. Our New Year celebration here will remain a cherished memory, and I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for an extraordinary getaway.

I stayed here in July 2022 with 11 of my friends and had one of the best experiences renting this B&B. Belinda was incredibly helpful answering all of my questions almost immediately. The place is very accomodating with all rooms having an ensuite. The kitchen is well equipped and the views are amazing, the photos don't do it justice. My friends are already talking about wanting to stay here again. ||||We originally found this place on AirBnB and were cautious about renting as it didn't have any reviews at the time of booking. We did some research and found a way to book with them direct. If you book direct you'll get a better rate and I believe Belinda and her family dont have to pay AirBnBs large commissions, so everyone wins!

Excellent location 20 minute walk from Belswy Coed Along the main Rd and over the bridge. It's a pleasant walk. The property had stunning views it was spotlessly clean and the bedrooms were large and spaceous. The house has plenty of garden space and the view from the lounge was amazing. ||Would definitely recommend staying here.
