Beautiful! From the short walk to get there, the castle, the friendliness of the ticket seller, the castle of course, especially the fantastic history of SouthTyrol displayed in the tower.

I was late to go inside, but the views around are so good that you still can enjoy the small hike to the castle. Be aware of many people on the weekend. P.S. I believe the cat is working his off hours in the office.

Great castle to visit just outside Tirolo, only negative for us was that not all information was available in English. Still worth a visit as free guides available online if you like that kind of thing.

Beautifully kept castle with the history of the chappel reaching back to 300 a.d. reaching. A beautiful, informative and interactive exhibit in a magical fairy tale castle setting, makes for a great day excursion.

Amazing historical place with a nice tiny exhibition and a great surrounding to have a relaxing walk around. Geographically the place belongs to Italy but culturally You can observe the obvious Austrian affect and background. This place is for those who seek for a relaxing day off, some fresh air and quite and charming place. Suitable for families, couples and singles travellers also, but consider that the road at some parts is inclined and might be heavy to defeat relatively small distances at this conditions. Also, the parking places are limited too.

Great castle showcasing the history of South Tyrol as a region. Pleasant walk from Tyrol village and well-connected to Meran. Also included is a very informative booklet accompanying the exhibition.

Be sure to wear your walking shoes. You can't drive up to the castle, park in the town. Stunning views from the castle. Interesting enough, although the numbers on the audio guide don't correspond with what you see.

The exterior looks excellent. The interior has lost the feel of what living then was like but still good be able to walk through it.
