Had a great time at U Bar in Ho Chi Minh City! The service was excellent—friendly and attentive staff made us feel right at home. The prices were very reasonable, which was a pleasant surprise for such a stylish spot. What really stood out were the cocktails—each one was unique and crafted with great attention to detail. You can tell a lot of thought goes into their drink menu. The atmosphere was also perfect—relaxed yet trendy, making it a great place to unwind with friends. Definitely a must-visit if you’re looking for a cool bar with great vibes and creative drinks!

I stumbled into this bar on a whim and ended up discovering a new favorite spot. From the moment I walked in, the vibe was just right—cozy, welcoming, and effortlessly cool. The bartender deserves a special shout-out. Not only was the service fast and friendly, but the drinks were absolutely top-notch. And the small bites? Delicious. Ủ bar offers a distinctive drinking experience that immerses guests in elements of traditional Vietnamese culture. What I love most is the innovation behind the menu - many of the drinks are made with ingredients that have been “ủ”, a Vietnamese term that refers to fermenting or infusing ingredients over time to deepen their flavor and complexity. I decided to challenge myself with one of the boldest drinks on the menu, inspired by bánh tráng trộn, a beloved street snack from Southern Vietnam. It featured a dried shrimp liqueur, and the flavor was spicy, tangy, and unexpectedly delightful. Overall, it is a creative and daring concoction that truly teases the palate. However, I heard that many people ended up returning this drink because of its intense flavor - so think twice before ordering it. If you're not feeling adventurous, don’t worry, there are milder options available too. 🌻 Good: - Attentive staff - Very interesting concept that highlights traditional Vietnamese culture - Bold and daring concoctions 🥀 Can improve: The ambiance echoes the concept of ủ, with a sense of patience and layered depth, though I found it lacked some of the traditional Vietnamese atmosphere I had hoped for.

All the staffs are very good and lovely, especially the bartender 😊 The atmosphere of the shop, the lighting is good, the drinks have an interesting concept, and it's nice to make the last word drink. I really like it. If I have a chance, I'll see you again.

Personally, I would say that Ủ Bar is the best bar experience I’ve had in Saigon. The drinks were made so tastefully and with a personal touch. I need to give a shout-out to my favorite bartender, HOÀNG. I sat at the bar with my friends and Hoàng kept us laughing the whole night. Such a fun experience with outstanding customer service. I asked Hoàng to surprise me with “something sweet and light” he think I would enjoy and I ended up loving each drink 🫶also really love the classy, bespoke bar vibe. Their áo dài uniform was so unique along with their roasted tea as palate cleanser. The music wasn’t overbearing, which helps if you’re there for delicious drinks and company. Bartenders are very friendly and willing to mix drinks out of the menu to surprise you! The bar has nice ambience and chill. I got impressed by the drink menu and how it was designed, so creative and very Viet traditional. Definitely come back.

My new fav spot in town. A perfect cozy space for dating and/or enjoying a drink. U guys deserve more than 5* review. The drinks are very creative, I love how you blend your homemade (and local, traditional) ingredients and alcohol together to create a drink that tells stories and reflect cultures. Your team is attentive, friendly, polite and hilarious. They help creating such nice atmosphere. Looking forward to come back and try more of the menu
