Great food and service. Anchovies starter was flavourful and not oily. Fish was amazing. Clean, simple while flavourful. Pasta was average. Nothing special Service was amazing and attentive.

Booked a family table and had a fabulous evening. The service was attentive and quick, and the food was absolutely outstanding - all very freshly prepared with great ingredients. Brilliant pasta and excellent meat dishes. Very interesting range of beers (good selection of wines too). Very quirky interior. Highly recommended!

Great restaurant offering Liguria’s delicacies. If you are stuck with your decision go for the “trofie al pesto” which are amazing and juicy with basil and garlic sauce and luxurious homemade pasta. Nice spot in a re-discovered suburban neighborhood.

We bumped on U Barba place after looking for a quiet and cosy place. Managed to placed my order eventhoug staff didn't speak English, food was good I would recommend gnocchi al pesto

I'd worked up a huge appetite shopping but didn't want to eat anywhere touristy, and I was beginning to lose hope when I turned onto a side street and stumbled upon U Barba. The food was incredibly fresh and delicious (and plentiful), the patio was clean and protected from the street traffic, and the staff were super friendly (and spoke great English--sadly I'm still working on my Italian). Also, the bathroom was notably nice. I'd love to return the next time I'm in Milan!

Found this place via an article in Glamour. A bit of a travel outside the city, unless you come from Fondation Prada, but definitely worth it! Super nice food, that came very quick, and very attentive and friendly waiters who spoke English well. And moreover, such a beautiful outside space where you can even play „italian“ boule.
