The food was good and the service was fast. The prices were high. There is no card payment, only cash. There is an 8% tip written on the menu the waiters demand. The waiter got in my face and demanded the tip and even asked me where I'm from. There is no law that states that I have to pay a tip in Czechia and you can refuse to pay it. I wasn't sure if to negotiate it at first but I didn't want a fight to break out in the restaurant and decided that the 35 Kč (1,40€) wasn't worth risking my life. Shame on the waiter. Skip if you are in town. Most places accept cash and do not force you to tip in Czechia.

Lovely, relaxed Czech restaurant with delicious food. I had the lamb knuckle, which was amazingly tender & rich with collagen. My wife had venison with cranberry sauce, which was lightly gamey & perfectly cooked. Everyone is very nice & the soundtrack is fun, old Czech folk music. Highly recommended!

We reached this airconditional restaurant on weekend at about 2pm. 70% of the tables were occupied. No waiting time was needed for a table. The ambience was relaxed and comfortable. Menu in many languages included English. Table service for ordering and serving within 15 minutes upon ordering. Roast half a duck was perfectly done. Duck meat was juicy and sauce wad good to dip the bread. Red and white cabbages were very good for our appetite. 399kc per serving. 4 stars Chicken soup with meat and noodles was mediocre. There was nothing spectacular worth mentioning. 90kc per serving. 2 stars The dark beer velkopopovicky 0.3l at 55kc was wonderful to take along with meat. So refreshing. 4 stars
