We had an excellent experience at UAN Kanazawa. The staff are welcoming and helpful. The rooms are beautifully appointed, designed with a calm, modern Japanese aesthetic, and quite spacious. One highlight was the Japanese breakfast. Everything about this hotel feels thoughtful and well cared for. Highly recommended!

What an absolutely cool hotel. The art is really fun and interesting. The room was comfortable (with very cool murals). The staff could not have been more helpful and lovely. The restaurant was very good. And the bartender made the best Manhattan i have ever had. 100% recommend.

From the moment you walk into the hotel reception you feel calm . Great decor, very helpful staff and love the Japanese/ western fusion vibe. Love the Japanese breakfast, the 24 hour available juices and coffee, free noodles after 9 and the very reasonably priced sake tasting. Hotel is a in great location. Kanazawa is a walkable city but it was so hot so the day pass for the loop bus is a cheap and cool way to get about.

The room was a very good combination of traditional and modern, clean and spacious bathroom. The gym was... not quite a gym, having no weights and 2 pieces of equipment. There is free soba noodles at night, great opportunity to try out their bar. One of the highlights was the Japanese breakfast which I'd recommend all day over the Western breakfast (unless you're vegetarian or don't like fish).

This was a stylish hotel in a central location in Kanazawa yet tucked away on a quiet street. Our room was huge with a lovely terrace overlooking the temple. It was within walking distance of all the main sites, especially the Kanazawa Palace Park and Kenroku-en Gardens. The staff were really helpful and welcoming.

The rooms are spacious and very comfortable beds. I liked to little zen hard on the room. The staff was very helpful finding us restaurants and guiding us around. Very relaxed and chilled hotel. It was lovely that some of the staff was in kimonos.

Wonderful Experience in UAN Kanazawa|After reading the stellar reviews on UAN Kanazawa, I went in with high expectations and was not disappointed. From the start, the service was great – the staff were friendly, prompt, responsive in answering my queries while booking. Even though the staff checking us in was not confident with English, she still tried her best and used a translator app to supplement her.||The staffs are hardworking in managing the busy soba and bar service while attending to guests. Their hard work shows in how the drinks are always replenished and the area is kept clean. ||When helping me with reservations and booking taxis, the staff were polite and consistently went the extra mile in assisting me. ||The design and amenities of the room left nothing to be desired. The warm lighting, woody interior and expansive area were enhanced by thoughtful design choices – such as a pole near a step to help with accessibility. The Dyson hairdryer was certainly a plus that made hairstyling in much easier. Additionally, the housekeeping was clean and efficient. ||A final icing on the cake – the complimentary soba served at night was perfect for warming us up after experiencing Kanazawa’s cold rainy weather.||Thank you to Izumi san, Tsukakoshi san, Makiko Nakaoka, Yama san , Isobe san. To those who had responded to my email enquiries to all that made a special trip for my daughter and I. From 407

We had a Superior Twin, with terrace and found it to be a good size, well laid out, quiet and very comfortable. Location wise, it's about a 20 min walk from the station. It is situated well for seeing the local highlights. Do also checkout Kourin sushi which is nearby but booking is recommended. ||The whole team were very helpful and friendly. ||They offer free noodles after 9pm in the bar area. We also made use of the free umbrellas! We didn't try the breakfast or saki tasting...||There are washing machines on site and they have a small gym. ||We would definitely stay here again. ||

Yelp
This was such a lovely hotel. Clean, modern, with traditional Japanese touches. Located in a quiet area, but a close walk to several sites. Highly recommended.

Yelp
This hotel is filled with friendly staff, well decorated, with comfortable rooms. The included breakfast, which I got the English breakfast, includes fried egg, thick, bacon, spinach, four types of bread and is more than enough food. There are free juices and water and coffee all day. They also have free soba noodles from 9 PM to 11 PM in the lobby. It's very cute that you get a pair of clothes to wear around the hotel, including the lounge. there are two washing machines downstairs which also dry your clothes. The cost is very cheap, about ¥700 maximum. The staff speak English well. A bonus is that the hotel is very centrally located, and is near the Omichi market, the garden, and the castle, and the old part of town. Very easy to call a taxi by asking the front desk. The air conditioning works very well. The only thing that could be improved is they have no body lotion. Everything else is in the bathroom, including soap, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. They also have free toothbrushes.

Yelp
This wonderfully located hotel is close to Omicho Market and Kanazawa Castle. The hotel staff is extremely friendly and speak english. The rooms have ample space, modern in style, and clean. There's also free tea, juice, and sweets in the lobby all the time. Breakfast is an extra charge but plentiful and well prepared with either a western or Japanese style which must be selected the day before.

Yelp
This hotel was an amazing find. On this trip I stayed at 4 different locations and UAN Kanazawa was definitely one of the highlights and the best place that we stayed at. The location was so close to both the Kanazawa Castle as well as the Omicho Market and everything was within walking distance. The hotel offers drinks throughout the day/night and also has a night time free Soba which was delicious! We did not partake in the meals but I wish I had. The staff was friendly and the rooms were amazing! I could not believe the space and layout for the bed, bathroom, seating area, and balcony. If it wasn't so cold I would have been outside with my coffee or tea every morning/night but it was nice to watch the snow come down from the balcony. This location was a must return to location. I will definitely be back!
