Udaigarh Udaipur

Great location with wonderful view over the lake and the Lake Palace Hotel. Very clean and pretty rooms. An easy walk to the town and tourist sites. Very kind and helpful staff, who allowed use of a spare room when we turned up very early on the overnight train from Jaipur. Recommended as such good value for money.

We absolutely loved our stay at Udaigarh. The view from the rooftop was breathtaking, and a perfect backdrop to enjoy the delicious and plentiful breakfast. The rooms were lovely and the staff were really attentive and kind. Pradeep on reception was especially helpful in booking us onward train tickets and keeping in touch with us in the coming days to ensure everything had gone well with our travels. Really nice service and really great value for money! I would definitely stay here again if visiting Udaipur in the future. Thank you! :)

Simply put ... fabulous! This hotel blew my mind the view, cleanliness, staff, and food are all just epic. Thanks you ! You made my trip. Close to the city palace, folk dancing centre and view of the Taj palace. Love ❤️

So great to visit the Hotel Udaigarh last night where some scenes from The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel were filmed. The restaurant was excellent on all levels - food, view and service but the highlight was playing out a scene from the film with two of the staff members. It was hilarious and characterised the fun and playfulness which we’ve come to appreciate in many of our encounters in India so far. We stayed at another hotel this time but next time we’re staying at the Hotel Udaigarh!

Excellent view from rooftop restaurant.Always refreshing and different.Excellent team of cooks who dish out delicious meals served by efficient waiters.Room was neat a little on the smaller side and you have to ask for replenishment of toiletries water tea satches etc .Staff is polite.All tourist places nearby are at a walkable distance.The only drawback is that taxis can't reach the hotel as it is in the old town so one can only take an auto.The staff can leave your luggage till the taxi stand and also arrange a taxi for airport.Enjoyed the stay here.

Great service at this hotel with very beautiful rooftop views of the lake. The perfect place for a gin and tonic. Bond was great! He had so many one liners and is a great asset to the hotel, he even offered a tour of the palace for us.

Good place to stay in the city. You will get everything when you are just one step out from the hotel. Again good vibes, the staff was very cooperative and well behaved.

It was a delight to stay at udaigarh. Amazing view from the rooftop and the evening vibe is just so soothing & serene. Mr. Pradeep is very kind and helpful. He guides you with every detail you want. Humble person indeed . . Food - it's delicious with chilled vibe of candle light. Great place to stay with friends & family. Just wish to jump soon in the pool. . . Overall a great experience and will be back soon.
